"Southern Hospitality At Its Best!!"
I was super-satisfied with our stay! The hotel is affordable, comfortable, clean, and convenient! But, the best part about our stay, BY FAR, was the staff!! Everyone was so friendly, polite, and helpful! Thanks to everyone at this hotel for a great experience!! :)
"hotel across frm turner field"
The staff was informative n pleasant. The rooms were ok but didn't like that the view for downtown was only with king size beds and that sucked. Breakfast was good and I like that it is served 7 days a week. Over all it was ok. just make sure ur air wks

"Comfort Inn"
Great place to stay for the price! Wife and I, with teenage son stayed 2 days. Room was roomy enough. Two beds. (No view from window) Great location for Braves baseball game for sure! Breakfast was very good. Well worth the stay. Bathroom was nice size too. The hospitality was above the norm. I forgot the GM's name, but she remembered ours! And many […] of the people that I witnessed she would talk to. Felt safe. free parking too. Les mer
"Foul odor in the room"
The major problem I had was the foul odor (a combo of years worth of smoke smell combined with cheap deodorant used to mask it). It was so nasty that it actually made me sick, and I couldn't wait to get out of the room.

"Great location"
Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was not impressive. Rooms were clean, but not 100%. We had face prints on our window and sticky on the desk that was there when we checked in. We didn't bother calling it in, and i'm sure they would have taken care of it if we had.
We had a suite and it was a little bigger than a standard room. It was clean and comfortable,the only issue was poor TV reception.

My husband and I reserved this hotel due to close proximaty to downtown Atlanta. It only took us 6 minutes to drive to GWCC. Which was great. Although the drive was right through the middle of the ghetto. The hotel is on the edge of sketchy and decent neighborhood. The hotel is directly across from Turner Field which would be awesome if you were going […] to a Braves game. The room was very nice, and clean, a little on the small side, but ok for two people. Elevators very slow, was just easier to take the stairs. In the opposite direction from downtown was GA state Univ. We found an awesome place to eat, Six Feet Under. Nicer neighborhood, we went there for dinner and then lunch the next day. The Bullpin (restaraunt) next door didn't seem like it was hitting on much. We walked in, sat down, looked at menu unnoticed, and walked out. It worked out better and the other place anyway. I would stay here again if I was going to a ball game, you can't ask for a hotel to be any closer. Les mer

"Clean, Convenient"
Turner Field is directly across the street and so is the bus stop into downtown . Bus drops off at the train station. If you love carbs for breakfast you'll love the morning continental here. Plenty of room in the dining area. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is literally across the street from Turner Field and theres a nice bar you can walk to and the food is good. Neighborhood looks a little rough but not too bad.

I got into Atlanta kind of late and I don't know much about the city so I was a bit nervous because some of the other reviews. It's right off of the interstate and it was a completely quiet neighborhood. NO ONE around at all and I had a parking spot at the front door. "Great location and price"
A downtown Atlanta hotel with parking, internet and breakfast for 3 nights for an amazingly low price. Comparable pricing to the hotels 25 miles out of town. What a deal! The neighborhood was typical for a city. Not a place to take a walk but fine for driving through. The room was mostly spotlessly clean, gleaming almost. Which is why it was strange […] there were black spots in the grout in the shower. A bit of mold that would have been vanquished with some bleach I think. How you can be that clean everywhere else and miss the finishing touches is disappointing. But for the price the cleanest, most comfortable, most convenient place in the city for sure! This hotel was very nice. New furniture and bedding was very beautiful. The staff was friendly and quite helpful. The location was very convenient to the Twin Towers where my meeting was being held. An excellent value hidden in downtown Atlanta! The only problem was the ice machine that was located in the hall outside of the room and the noise from […] I-75. It woke us up many times throughout the night. Just ask for a room on the backside of the hotel far, far away from the ice machine. "It's basic but very handy for Turner Field"
I stayed in this hotel as it was right beside Turner Field which was the departure point for the PGA Tour Championship shuttles buses. The parking lot was a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel was basic and somewhat dated. The room while comfortable enough didn't feel particulary fresh. The carpet had some stains on it and the bathroom was worn. […] However, there wasn't anything to cause too much concern. Staff were helpful and the complimentary breakfast was perfectly adequate. Parking was plentful. The immediate surrounding area seemed okay although I wouldn't have felt comfortable walking around in the dark. The hotel is right beside the freeway (motorway) but the noise wasn't a problem. Overall I'd recommend this hotel if you're wanting to be perfeclty located for Turner Field. If you're looking to spend more time in Atlanta then book downtown unless you have a car. West End was the nearest MARTA station and seemed to be a really bad part of town. Les mer

Stayed one night to go to Braves game. VERY convenient to Turner Field, just across the street. I don't know why some say it's a bad neighborhood. The street is blocked off before and after the game and you have a 20ft walk to the stadium. Very nice staff and VERY comfy room.

Great Breakfast, clean pool, and comfy room. A bit of a smokey smell in hall.
My hotel stay was average for the price. Front desk staff was very helpful. Little disappointed with the temperature of the entire hotel. They were experiencing problems with air-conditioning. Also the breakfast bar was not all it could have been and the morning breakfast staff was not very friendly and rushed to put the food away before ending time. The room was not equipped as described when I booked it. WiFi did not work in the room during my stay. Bad Neighborhood. Panhandeled while swimming with kids in the pool. The only plus for this hotel is that is right beside Turner Field.
"Country Inn & Suites at Turner Field"
Stayed at several other hotels in the past when we came to see the Braves play and The Country Inn is the best by far. 5 to 10 minutes and you are in your room after the game. always lots of people around so the family felt safe. My only complaints is I felt the mattress was very hard and cable reception was bad.

"Can't beat the value!"
Free parking, free internet and a good price for the room. We booked this room pretty much last minute and it was not a disappointment. Parking was crowded, but it shared a lot with a sports bar and Turner field is, literally, just across the road. Since the Orioles were in town for a series, I wasn't surprised at the parking. It's a very old building, […] but you could only tell by the style of the elevators. They did a great job renovating. Room was large and comfy. Beds were comfy. If we ever come to Atlanta for a Braves game, I would definitely book here. Les mer

We had a great stay at this hotel. We were in town for a Braves game and the location couldn't have been more perfect. Breakfast was good, the pool was clean. Our room was very comfortable and clean, GREAT A/C! Friendly & helpful staff. We recommend this hotel to anyone without a second thought, :)

Location - perfect-did not feel threatened when walking back from Braves game ; price - great to be only .27 miles away from Turner Field; full breakfast - wonderful - eggs, bacon/sausage, waffles, fruit. Our only complaint besides a smoking smelling room (my fault for not requesting a non-smoke room) is that the tub needs to have non-slips on the […] flooring. We had someone from our group slip in the shower & fall out tearing the curtain. We left a note w/for the maid & notified the clerk before we left. No injury, however, the rest of the group used a towel to stand on to keep from slipping. The tub floor curves inward and was extremely slippery. I would definetly stay again but make sure that either a mat is down in the tub or place a towel to stand on. Les mer

"Baseball trip"
We picked this hotel for location, that was great. We stayed 2 nights. We were panhandled in the parking lot & pool both days by the same person. There were kids in the pool area that were not guests, the management ran them off. The hotel had some issues with some renovations - they lost power & the elevator was extremely slow. "Close to Turner Field - only real benefit"
This hotel was not in very good condition. One of the two total elevators closed a split second after it opened constantly. The room was not 100% clean, which is unacceptable. The drive through the neighborhood to get there was uncomfortable. You would not go for a walk in this area. The hotel sells parking spaces on Braves game days, so we were recommended […] not to leave for dinner once we arrived because the spots for tenants could be lost to people arriving for the game. We also requested synthetic pillows due to my wife's allergies and they stated they only had down pillows. The desk staff was friendly, but the help staff was unprofessional. The only good thing about this hotel is that it is across the street from Turner Field. We left our seats after the game and were in our room within 5 minutes. Upon arrival, I told the clerk that we needed to check in. Her reply was she didn't have any vacancies. I then told the clerck that we had a reservation that was pre paid through hotels.com. She then just happened to find a room which was full of roaches and a toilet that was not working. The second nigt of her stay we were moved to another room. "Very close to Turner Field"
The proximity to Turner Field (right across the street) is the main draw to this hotel. During our two night stay there were problems with the elevators, in that one of them quit working. The ice machine on our floor was out of order and there seems to be continuous remodeling of the lobby area. The Hotel was EXCELLENT!
"Nice hotel, semi-scary part of town"
The hotel is just across the street from the famous Turner Field where the Atlanta Braves play. Overall it was nice, but in a bad part of town. Not a place I'd go out for a walk.

Everything was fine. Was in town for a convention, room rate was a hell of a lot better than hotels closer to the GWCC. Cabs were 10 bucks flat (less tip) to the convention center. It is a bit isolated, but the Bull Pen next door has some great BBQ!!!! They have beer that you will see but they also have a limited liquor bar if you ask (cause it aint […] visible). I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Right accross the street from Turner field. Oh, and you can get there from the airport by MARTA to 5 Point station then take Bus 49 directly to the hotel for 2 bucks and 50 cents for the ticket. Les mer

"Flat Pillows"
Everything from check in to check out was very good. The staff was helpfull and kind and the breakfast was very good. The only thing was they only give you 2 pillows on the bed and they were very flat, I called and asked for 3 more and that worked but they were flat as well and it took over 40 minutes for someone to bring them up to me. "Right by Turner Field"
I stayed here just after baseball season had finished. It was nice and quite in the neighborhood....excluding the 12 lane Interstate. The hotel itself is pretty outdated, but the location is prime.
