Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Ft. Lauderdale-Plantation - Plantation

The hotel was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and responded to needs quickly. Our door was missing a lock and he fixed it right away. We never could get enough towels for our family though,, they always said they were out and we asked for a blanket for the pullout sofa bed but were told they didn't have any more blankets. That was a bit annoying […] but heat worked so at night we just switched from ac to heat. We all enjoyed the breakfast, wonderful selection and the lady that did it most mornings (we stayed 7 days) was fabulous! Pool was nice, kids enjoyed it which was a bonus! Loved the location, easy drive to beach and area stores and places to dine. Would stay here again. Needed to delay our trip one week and had used hotel.com and it was switched without any problem. Hotel was vary clean and well maintained , polite and courteous employees . The room had a fresh and new look to it . I would return visit if needed.

Perfect location for us, and a very nice set of buildings. Unfortunately, we were obviously the first guests to ever stay in our room. We arrived around 8PM. 1. The lock strike-plate was installed upside down, so the deadbolt was more than 1 inch off, and unusable. A maintenace man came up immediately and replaced the latch saying that the contruction […] company was installing left handed hardware on right-hinged doors, etc. 2. The heating/cooling unit was running on A/C only. There was no electricity connected to the thermostat controls. Could not be turned OFF, or to HEAT or even to adjust TEMPERATURE controls. I finally just covered over the blower vent with an extra blanket to avoid freezing! 2. Electricity to the outlets kept going on and off. This affected my laptop and we also had to keep resetting the clock radio (we finally gave up). 3. The TV was blank on several channels- notably PBS &NBC. 4. The bathtub & bath area had never received a proper cleaning. The tub was both dusty and covered in older "stuck-on" dirt. 5. There was no "Do Not Disturb" sign in the room. Except for the door-latch, all the other items were minor for us, and we were just too tired to complain. Given the friendliness of the staff and situation of the hotel construction, we just let it go. We definitely would stay there again. Les mer

I recently stayed at the Plantation, FL Holiday Inn Express. I expected the same quality I am accustomed to with the Holiday Inn Express. I was very disappointed indeed. I arrived at the hotel at 10:00pm after driving 8 hours. All I wanted was a good night’s sleep as I was on business just starting a new job. What I got was quite different. The hotel […] was under renovation which is ok but they did not notify me of this. The place was a mess. I go straight to bed and I was kept awake all night long by an obnoxious Teen age boys Hockey Team. I called the front desk twice and they sent security up twice to no avail. The boys ignored security and partied all the night long. I got no sleep at all. Then I decided I will exercise. I had asked if the hotel had an exercise room and they told me yes. Well they had one but it was full of furniture and boxes and what not. Then the straw that broke the camel’s back was I was to meet my new boss that morning at the hotel and we were to work at the hotel all day and the most important item I needed and asked about as well was wireless internet. I was told they had it and it worked well. It was not working at all. I had reservations to stay all week. I checked out that day and went to another hotel and had a very pleasant stay there. We felt safe, room was clean,breakfast was decent, and the staff was helpful and friendly. No complaints.

i recommend this hotel, the guys in the front desk are very very friendly, located between Fort Lauderdale and Sawgrass, convenient for shopping at Sawgrass and visit the city of Fort Lauderdale.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. We were surprised , however, with the abruptness of staff in closing breakfast when people were still eating and then having housekeeping come by to kick us out of the room at exactly 11:00 on Sunday. Wherever we have traveled, food is left out until guests finish and guests may leave at their leisure at 5 or […] 10 minutes after checkout time. So we were looking for a hotel near the bank atlantci center because we attending the Iron Maiden concert on april 16, 2011. This was in excellent location of attractions near by and away from violence (some parts of florida can be iffy) We parked our car in the parking lot and walked around at night...safely..It was an overall great experience. They […] have nice rooms for the budget prices. Breakfast was great, filling, and they even had eggs..who has eggs? lol...Service was great..you know when you get a hotel room and they give you like 2 towels..well i walked downstairs to the housekeeping door..knocked on it..asked the woman for some towels...and she gave me 6..thats what im talking about. Rooms were extremely clean upon entry....maid came once again and cleaned up all the trash and changed out all the towels and etc. The pool was quite nice with music playing outside. We were very dissatisfied with this hotel. the lobby appeared un kept,the roomwas extremely small,there were people figkting in the lobbl and the sorrounding grounds there were security to be found, we couldnt wait to check out the next mornng.

I really liked this hotel, for what I paid for the room I was very Pleased. The location is very acessible and not far from the Mall. Which is a plus is like to shop. We were there for the fourth of july so our intended purpose was for sleeping as our days were filled with activiites.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel, we were there for a wedding in the area. We had a suite which was very large and comfortable, breakfasts were great with a wide variety.

The Motel was reasonably close to my business function. The room was reasonably priced for a basic stay at an older motel in the area. I stayed two nights and noted that the second night I had no wash cloths and had to ask for them. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. The room was non-smoking but smelled of old smoke. My room was clean and the internet speed was ok. The hotel's location is convenient to restaurants and shoping area on Sunrise Blvd. However, there was no bottle water in the room. The vending machine was broken and the front desk does not answer calls.

Nonchalant personal. Fick en King size bed när vi bokat två Queen size bed. Inte vad vi tänkt när jag reser med en vuxen son. Utrustning som ismaskin mm fungerade ej.

Es un hotel bueno, bien situado para lo que necesitamos. Las personas amables y en general bien. El cuarto tenía olor a humedad, no genera una buena primera impresión.

Nos dieron una habitación para 3 personas como la pedimos pero nos dierondos camas semidobles por lo tanto mi marido y yo dormimos bien incómodos las 3 noches que nos quedamos allá. Nunca tuvimos las 3 toallas sino las pedíamos. El desayuno estuvo bueno y la atención allí fue muy buena.

Las instalaciones son bonitas, tal como se muestra en las fotografías, el servicio es muy bueno y el desayuno típico buffete de USA, se los recomiendo, es un buen precio

Todo muy bien, excelente ubicación para todo tipo de comercio, estuvimos 4 noches y le sacamos provecho, esta tan cerca de los comercios que nos permitiamos ir a tomar una siesta, almorzamos muy cerca en un buffet chino, baratisimo y riquisimo!!! El personal de check in nada amable, nos dieron unas habitaciones viejas, mal olientes y descuidadas, no funcionaba el fricer el aire no se podia bajar ni subir la temperatura y encima las toallas con pelos y en si toda la habitacion cochina , me queje me cambiaron de habitación al frente de la otra y igual en la misma condición pero el aire i el fricer […] si funcionaba, para nada lo recomendaría . Zum Übernachten bei einem Zwischenstop und für Shoppingtouren in Fort Lauderdale bestends geeignet. Zur Westfield - Broward Shopping Mall ca. 5 min. bis zur Sawgrass Mills Mall ca. 10 min. Das Hotel kann man weiterempfehlen. Das Angebotene Continental Frühstück ist SEHR reichhaltig.
