Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Denver - Thornton - Northglenn

Our first trip to Denver to visit family, stayed 4 nights at the Doubletree. Very nicely decorated, quiet, very pleasant staff (received warm cookies at checkin!). I've never stayed in a bad Doubletree & this hotel was no exception. Warm cookies for me & my 3 friends who weren't staying with me, kind reception & beautiful rooms. This hotel cost a bit more than the others around it, but I think it was well worth it. Late check out no problem. Cozy bed & hot shower. Great stay!

I stay a Doubletree hotels regularly and was disappointed with the lack of quality service at this lacation. Missed my wake-up call and the the $10 hot breakfast came out to $30 cold one.

We were greeted with cheerful smiles and wonderful, freshly baked chocolate cookies. The fireplace in the lobby was very inviting, and very much appreciated when it decided to snow while we were there. The hotel is close to major highways, shopping mall, and various restaurants. However, I suggest that the hotel consider placing a bell at the front […] desk so one can ring for service. We had to wait 15 - 20 minutes at the front desk when wanting to check out, and it was getting really tight on leaving for the airport due to the snow. Was told "this is the hotel where you'll be staying"... And I was more than pleasantly surprised at how "upscale" this (in my mind) previously-standard hotel was.

The staff was wonderful; had snow one morning and they cleaned off the cars in the lot; very friendly staff; Chad was a great bartender; Breakfast staff was great; Front desk staff friendly and helpful

Room had musty smell. Resturant never appeared to be open. We were disappointed that we could not use our Hilton honors points.

We stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is in good location, it's very easy to get on I-25 from there. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, I do have two complaints: the A/C is very loud, I could hardly sleep with the A/C on and if we turn it off, my husband would be sweating; the other thing is the water in the shower is VERY […] little. Great hotel with friendly staff, and good location just off the interstate. Starbucks right in front, couple steakhouses around with good food. Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfasts was excellent. I could see mountains from my windows. Will certainly stay there again!

What you would expect from a Double Tree, clean, friendly, and well maintained. Restuarants right across the parking lot if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The location was good being right next to a major highway, but the hotel is situated so you can't hear the road noise. My only complaint was the mattress needed replacing, but everyone has there […] own preference so take that with a grain of salt. I would definitely stay there again. Les mer

For the most part this was a great hotel. Almost every staff member I encountered was great. The only thing I wish I had known prior was that the air units in the rooms were EXTREMELY loud. Also the first room I was in window was blocked by a Doubletree by Hilton sign that made it so you could not see out. So between that and the air unit i was not […] pleased with the location of the room. However the staff working my last night was nice enough to move me rooms. Staff was absolutely courteous. They went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. For business travelers staying in the general area I recommend the hotel.

We stayed at the Doubletree in Aug. when we dropped our son at CU. Came back here for Parents Weekend. Staff is always friendly. Computer room very handy for travel, coffee at 6am perfect.

It was a nice room. Thought it was a bit pricey for no free breakfast. Breakfast buffet was 12 per person. It was good though. Nice bar in the evening. Close to restaurants and Starbucks right across parking lot.

I have stayed in many motels and this one has the most comfortable beds. The staff was friendly, everything was clean and overall we were very satisfied.

The staff are thoughtful and very good at their jobs. Clean spacious rooms and the most comfortable beds with 6 pillows each! The pool and spa were at great tempratures and clean. Can't beat the location right off of I-25 close to everything. Thornton is the best of all the cities in this area too, it sit high so the views are wonderful. The first day we were in Denver, I think housekeeping did not have us on their schedule since I had to call to have our room made up. Also, as a business hotel, it would be ok, but did not include breakfast in the room price. The discounted cost of the breakfast buffet was still kind of expensive for breakfast. Room was very quiet in spite of being so close to the Interstate. Nice surprise! Comfy sheets and towels. Several nearby restaurants by short walk. Warm cookies are ALWAYS a plus.
