Prøvde å bestille smørbrød o.l. ved flere anledninger, men de hadde ingenting å tilby når vi ringte. Den ene gangen ringte de opp igjen ca 15 min etter at vi hadde ringt, og sa at de ikke hadde noen mat å tilby.

Hotellets ansatte var meget hyggelige. Beliggenheten er midt i blinken for voksne på storbyferie i Barcelona. Langt, langt unna maset i La Rampa, men midt i smørøyet med mange koselige barer, uteserveringsplasser, og gode restauranter.

Great experience. Extremely well kept. Hotel smells like a summer breeze in the forests: Great. Well connected with public bus and it is near to a stop of the sightseeing bus network. Would recommend it even to our dearest friends.

We stayed et the hotel for 4 days in order to participate in the Barcelona Marathon. The hotel was situated only 2 K from the start/finish. We judge the hotel to be a superb location for a runner. The breakfast was worth paying extra for. Very polite and helpful staff!

I've been at hotel for 3 nights. It's really good, especially the room is big, the very clean, provide slippers, and lot's of help from reception, very detailed explain.

This hotel we found to be in an excellant position very close to the Via Diagonal and all its shopping centres. Also it is situated very close to the red and blue Tourist bus routes to visit all Barcelonas attractions, of which there are more enough, to fill your days. We found the holel room to be clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. A secure […] garage for our car was a large bonus in a busy city, if a little expensive. If you don't want to be in the middle of the noise and activity of the Ramblas, and you don't mind a walk and a short subway ride, or a taxi ride, then this hotel is perfect. It saved quite a bit of money for us compared to our friends who stayed right in the heart of the Ramblas district. Our room was as nice as theirs, as clean as theirs, had as nice […] a decor as theirs, and was about 150 to 200 Euros cheaper. I would say it was worth the ten minute walk to the subway and short subway ride to get to the Ramblas. Front desk staff were very helpful with a map of Barcelona and the subway, offering directions to get us to our attractions. It doesn't have a pool or other such amenities, but we simply wanted a home base and only required a bed and a bathroom. The bathroom by the way had modern high quality fixtures. Les mer

The Derby is a fine hotel. I can recommend it as it's clean, reasonably priced, spacious and so on. It's one downfall however is noise. It's right opposite a bar and the rooms facing out onto the street don't seem to have any sort of noise isolation. You'll hear conversations from revelers as they spill out onto the street. Trucks and cars are also […] easily heard. It doesn't stop there however as unusually for a hotel the rooms have a wooden floor as opposed to carpet. We easily heard our neighbours in the room above us. When in the bathroom I could hear the guy in the next room shaving himself! If you're a light sleeper (like my partner) then it's probably not for you. However if noise doesn't really bother you then the Derby isn't bad. It's clean, not overly pricey and the location is quite nice. Our rooms were always immaculate when we returned to them and staff were friendly. All in all I can recommend the hotel just not to folk who are bothered by a little noise. Les mer

was in Barca on business and this hotel was very convenient for me and neighbourhood very quiet. not much in the line of restaurants or bars around you need to head down to centre for this, but hotel only a 10 min walk from Sants station which is very convenient. Was a bit disappointed with staff on reception as they were not the friendliest or most […] helpful, room very clean if a little small but this is to be expected for city centre hotel. Despite complaining daily during a ten day stay about the wifi not working properly. The hotel never fixed it, it worked intermittently in my room. I'm sure the manager will appear here and disagree but they never appeared in the hotel where they were needed.

it was in a nice area but little far from everything. The Internet did not work at all the whole time we were there.

The hotel was at a very good location. less noise and I slept good at Night time. easy access to local resturants and city events.The front desk customer service staff understands their jobs, very helpful and wake up call was on time. my room shower area was not fully covered with glass and water still goes to the floor area during shower time.The hotel […] GYM needs modern TREADMILL for custmer use / Exercises daily, as their current TREADMILL is very , very outdated. Location is ok if you are willing to walk 10 minutes to the nearest metro. Once your on the metro getting around is easy. Arrived to no air conditioning in the room. When we asked how it works were told that is was broken in the hotel at the moment. When would it be fixed...? 'not today' I got the feeling that this was the response everyday! Nice hotel but a little far from main part of town. I would not call it a 4 star hotel, maybe a 3 1/2. If you want a good nights sleep, do not get a room on the front side or street side. The back side is very quiet. The staff is not very friendly, but they get the job done. Very good breakfast. I would stay there again.

The hotel is nice, off of the main streets, but close to good transport. The internet connection was flaky, and the hotel restaurant wasn't open, but otherwise it was decent. The bathroom was mostly clean, but there was some mold/mildew in the shower. I would recommend it.

I liked this hotel. It was nice and bright. The hallway was brightly lit up and well maintained. The staff speaks English and was helpful. The area around the hotel is a mixture of commercial and residential. There are a lot of cafes, bars, are restaurants nearby. Avinguda Diagonal is nearby and has shopping malls and stores. The hotel is a bit far […] from the old city but for me that was a plus since I liked staying away from the old city. The Hospital Clinic metro is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel so going anywhere was easy. The roads near the hotel are quiet and I didn't hear any road noise. As with a lot of hotels the walls are not sound proof so I could hear people in the other rooms but it was not much of a problem at all. There was free wifi and they also had a computer for use by guests. I got a very good deal for this hotel and was definitely happy with my stay. Highly recommended. Les mer

This was probably the nicest hotel stay during our 2.5 week vacation in Europe, however, I would not stay there again for two reasons. #1- the location is not convenient at all. It's not all THAT bad- perhaps a 20 min walk from the closest metro and a 7 min walk to the bus stop or a 10 min ride in a taxi- but it all takes time and money and energy- […] and when you're in a city for just a few days why spend it traveling to the main sites? I would pick a more central location, after all the money you save on the hotel is the money that is spent on the cabs, metro and bus (and that is painfully slow, I might add). Plus, the hotel staff were extremely rude and not helpful AT ALL. I was disappointed to say the least. Les mer

My girlfriend and i had read several bad reviews of this hotel stating that it was noisey and too far away from the main attraction, both of which turned out to be untrue. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet square away from any main roads and very little traffic on the road outside. There is a taxi rank outside and is surrounded by many small cafes […] that are ideal cheap eating locatons. The hotel is also only a 5-10 minute walk from the local metro station which gives you access to almost every attraction in the city with a very short tube ride. I would highly recommend this hotel as an ideal place to stay if you can afford the little bit extra for the reletive quality. Les mer

The pictures of the hotel were much nicer than what it actually was. i could tell that the hotel has been renovated but it still didn't hide the fact that it was an old hotel. the wooden doors were just varnished over but they were way past their prime. the marble finishings were not shiny and were full of scratches. the "every room has a balcony" was […] true but our balcony seemed more like an alleyway. if they claimed the hotel as a 3 star, it would have been fine but to call this hotel a 4 star one is not true. when it first opened, maybe. but now, its far from that. the hotel is beside a building site and was extremely noisey. the cleaners in the hotel were also very noisey, we didnt get much sleep at all. hotel was clean and staff were friendly but hotel is a good bit away from the city centre so you need to get a taxi everywhere. the metro is a good twenty minute walk from the hotel

Stayed recently at this hotel in Barcelona. It's clean and the bathrooms and rooms are spacious but the lobby smelt constantly of incense and the rooms were quite old fashioned and not really modern enough to merit a 4 star rating. The hotel Gran Derby across the road seemed larger albeit with a pool so small that the pictures on the web are slightly […] misleading. On the down side the hotel is situated near some interesting "night clubs" in Barcelona which might or might not appeal to different tastes.. In addition as a business traveller you have to pay EUROS14 extra for breakfast and can't even borrow an iron to iron your clothes as each item must be paid for individually at EUROS5 a piece! The staff are efficient but could have been slightly more friendly. On the plus side it's quiet, relatively central and has a great tapas bar across the road which I would highly recommend. Les mer

Muita boa apesar de pouco tempo

Hotellet är väl helt ok om man vill ha nånstans att sova. En sak som gjorde mig besviken var att wifi ej funkade ordentligt. Frukosten kostar 14€ per dag kan vara bra att veta. Annars var väl det helt ok.

Et rigtig godt hotel til pengene og tæt på Camp Nou. Fine forhold og trukket tilbage fra større befærdede veje og dermed ikke meget støj om natten. Kan klart anbefales.

Un hôtel pas comme les autres, situation excellente, proche de la gare SANTS, centre ville à deux pas. services irréprochables, toute commodités, wifi inclus sur demande. parfait en somme. RECOMMANDABLE ET PLUS ENCORE

Siisti, rauhallinen hotelli kohtuullisen kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta ja metroasemasta. Ulkoa ikkunan kautta kuuluvat äänet vähän häiritsivät.

Je suis arrivée dans une chambre très petite qui sentait très mauvais. L'état général de la chambre et des équipements était plus que lamentable... La chmabre n'atait pas du tout insonorisée, donc j'ai été réveillée très régulièrement par les bruits de portes et des chamres voisines. J'ai déjà fait pas mal d'hotels 4 étoiles, mais je n'avais jamais […] été aussi déçue. La propreté était très aproximative. Les mer

réservation a la derniere minute pr un weekend "foot" principalement => match au camp nou. la situation est idéale : tram a proximité qui nous dépose devan le stade en 7 stations. l hotel donne sur la grande avenue diagonal avec les resto et magasins. pour le centre et la plage 2 bus sont necessaires certes mais l hotel est dans une petite rue tranquille, […] ac un accueil et un séjour rendu plutot agréable par le personnel de l hotel. Varför åker man till Barcelona? Förhoppningsvis för att uppleva några procent av det som Barcelona som stad har att erbjuda. För att hinna göra det krävs det tid utanför hotellet. Och syftet bör vara att njuta av allt annat än hotellet. Om man vill ha all inclusive resa så åk till Turkiet, Grekland eller Mallorca. Om man vill bli förälskad i Barcelona, […] stanna inte på hotellet. Så att hotellet inte har en pool är bara bra. Man har inget val än att åka ut på stan och lära känna Barcelona. Jag förlovade mig med min sambo i Barcelona och det var därför jag valde ett 4-stjärnigt hotell för jag visste att de kunde hjälpa mig med rosblad på sängen, frukost i rummet när hon senare fyllde år och mer saker. Annars hade jag tagit ett billigt 3stjärnigt hotell. Men detta blev billigt ändå. Trots 4stjärnigt och 4 nätter. Och det ligger perfekt för oss som älskar FC Barcelona, 20 minuter promenad till Camp Nou, inte ens 10 minuter med buss. Och till er som bara vill åka tunnelbana, tänk om! Det är mycket finare att åka buss och SE staden och inte se underjorden. Njut av Barcelona och njut av den lilla tid ni har på hotellet. Ta denna hotell och njut av renlighet och service! Siisti hotelli, josta lyhyt matka keskustaan, sijainti ihan ostoskadun (Diagonal) tuntumassa. Metroasema lähellä, ystävällinen henkilökunta ja palvelu moitteetonta.

Siisti Hotelli, hieman syrjässä keskeisimmältä kaupungilta. Hyvät Bussi ja metroyhteydet joka puolelle kaupunkia, itse kävelimme jokapuolelle, useitakin kilometrejä. Huoneet olivat erittäin siistejä, ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Muiden asukkaiden äänet kantautuu huoneeseen ehkä liikaa. Huoneiden langaton nettiyhteys takkuili useana päivänä. Hotel très mal insonorisé.Personnel parlant mal l'anglais et ne faisant pas beaucoup d'effort pour faire cesser le bruit venant des autres chambres au milieu de la nuit.

Hotel très agréable, résolument très moderne, décoration originale.(asiatique). Emplacement idéal pour visite monuments (GAUDI) et autres. Bon séjour, cependant garage très pentu, difficultés de circulation avec une grosse voiture.

Det var et udemærket hotel, med fin sengeredning hver dag og udskiftning af håndklæder. Køleskabet var for lille og det var KUN til hotellets minibar-varer. Der er ingen plads eller bord til at lave noget som helst mad eller smørre en morgenmad på.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Personale molto cordiale e collaborativo che parla anche italiano. servizio cortesia ottimo (è compreso anche l'uso di ombrelli in caso di necessità). Purtroppo il metrò non è vicino, ma in compenso nelle vicinanze transitano molti bus.
