Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og for å få sett Chicago. Personalet der var superhyggelige, og rommene var helt nyoppusset. Vi hadde rom med parkering, og dette fungerte svært bra. Vi slet med å finne hotellet ut fra GPS, og når vi sjekket inn fikk vi høre at dette var et problem for mange av hotellets gjester (TIPS: Når GPS sier at du har kommet til oppgitt adresse, men du ikke ser hotellet, kjør da rett frem gjennom første lyskryss, så vil du se hotellet et lite stykke etter lyskrysset). Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet for andre!

Hotell valt i utg.pkt pga nær O'Hare-flyplassen. Svært praktisk, to stoppestader frå flyplassen med t-banen (Cumberland). I tillegg lett, rimeleg og kjapt å koma seg med 'blue line' til sentrum av Chicago på same banen. Middels pluss service i skranken på hotellet. Frukost visstnok berre svært lettvint, med 'småkaker' eller liknande. Nytta ikkje dette tilbodet sjølv. Ok reinhald på romma. Var på to forskjellige under opphaldet mitt. Restaurant næraste nabo på eine sida av hotellet, også parkeringsplass knytt til denne, utan at eg fann dette sjenerande. 7 minutts spasertur tek deg til diger supermarknad, der du finn alt du måtte trenga. Også andre småsjapper og ein frisør. 5 minutt til fots til t-banestasjonen. Motorvegen like ved og tidvis flytrafikk over, men gjorde ingenting av betydning. Godt støyisolert.

I TRAVEL EVERYWERE IN THE COUNTRY WITH MY 2 JACK RUSSELLS AND I HAVE NEVER STAYED AT A GREATER DOG FRIENDLY HOTELLL..FROM THE DOG BISCUITS IN THE LOBBY TO THE DOG LOVING STAFF THIS HOTEL IS OUTSTANDING FOR 4 LEGGERS..AND THE HUGE LINCOLN PARK RIGHT ACCROSS THE STRREET IS A HUGE SELLING POINT ALSO..LOVED !!

i love the energy and service at this hotel. The only challenge was the heater was really loud and never really warned up to the room. I cant wait to come back to Chicago and stay for a few days and enjoy the location!
"Good value for the money."
This is not a "fancy" hotel. It has recently been renovated. The decorating is not my taste, it has a "retro" feel, (Plaid carpeting, strange color combos), which actually makes it seem old, rather than new. The room was very spacious with a nice writing desk and couch and lounge chair in the "living room", there were also two small but updated bathrooms. The room was a bit small but so efficient that it wasn't a problem. Really disliked the old elevators. The location is amazing and we had a great view of the lake and park. The rooms are not well sound proofed and our room was next to the elevators so there were noise issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is new in the Lincoln Park area, where a good hotel was sorely needed. The rooms are very small. We had requested a junior sweet, and we call to discuss and confirm that a junior suite entailed two rooms. When we got there, their version of a junior suite, was smallish size room (one room) with a sofa bed on the side. When one opened the […] sofa bed there was virtually no room for anything else. The oddest thing: this very small room (for being considered a suite) had two bathrooms! One full, one half back to back to each other. Very odd design choice. We were missing toiletries in the bathroom, there was no additional toilet paper, when it ran out, and in the morning when I made some coffee, the previous guest's coffee pouch was still there. We loved the retro feel of Hotel Lincoln. Everything was in great shape, service was good, and we enjoyed the quirk decor. Even though it is on a busy street we found it to be quiet. Nice alternative to the Days Inn. This place has personality!

Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. However, the walls are paper thin and we could actualy hear the guest next to us snoring! also, alot of late night partiers inside the hotel and outside too. The hotel staff was friendly but did not tell us about the weekend brunch in the hotel restaurant...no signage either. We walked […] to several places in the neighborhood and they were quite full...had we known breakfast was available we would of dined within the hotel. The rooms are nice and very clean. The staff is young and not too knowledgeable about the area but willing to use their smart phones to get the information you need. For the money...a good choice! Les mer

We stayed in this hotel just 6 weeks after its opening. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. We were helped with our luggage, given tips & directions as needed. The hotel itself is hip & stylish, with very clean rooms. There was a coffee shop in the lobby with great coffee (drip, lattes, etc) and food (crepes, salad, scones) and a […] hotel restaurant/bar I did not visit but was told by a friend was very nice. The location was right across from Lincoln Park and near Michigan Avenue, within walking distance to restaurants (and a 1 hour walk to Wrigley Field). The rooms & bathroom were small in size and we had trouble not tripping over our belongings, but the bed was extremely comfortable! There was also a fitness room with 2 treadmills, a bike, elliptical and free weights plus a stability ball & mat (very small room also) and a huge business center. Les mer

"Pleasant stay"
The hotel was clean and visually pretty. The staff was very nice and welcoming. My only frustration with my visit was the parking. The lot was a block down and costly to park in. Without valet, once the car was parked we could not use it as it was locked in. Leaving the lot would charge us a hefty 24-hour charge each time. Because we were only there […] over night, this did not create a problem but I feel the parking price should be included in the hotel price then. Also it was unclear that it would be this way. Charging extra for the unlimited in/out valet is, i think acceptable.The hotel itself was in a nice location. I felt safe walking at night in Chicago to and from our destinations. Les mer

"Hotel Lincoln is our FAVORITE!"
Hotel Lincoln is great! They welcomed us like old friends, made us extremely comfortable with all of their help, and they even had dog biscuits for our pups! A weekend away for my bride and myself, we were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of champagne and fresh flowers- a really great start to our few days away. "Interesting hotel - location is great if"
I've stayed at many Chicago hotels, from airport to high end luxury downtown. There were a variety of family events near Roscoe Village - and for some reason most hotels were sold out for the weekend we stayed. I found the Lincoln on Hotels.com - read some reviews and booked. Valet parking - Excellent service - normal very high Chicago pricing. We had […] a deluxe lake view jr. suite. Bed was very comfortable - TV- large flat screen, Closet large and excellent - Room safe didn't work - but I didn't need it so didn't ask for a fix. Bathroom tiny with good amenities. Down side: no bathrobes, Shower head - so so (as is so often the case even in 5 star properties), no room service - that morning cup of coffee delivered can't happen (there is a stocked coffee maker on the floor) and every other floor has a vending machine with bottled water. The lake view - while it was overcast - even on a good day seeing the lake imo would take some imagination. All in all I would stay here again based on need. Les mer

"Lincoln Hotel - Lincoln Park, Chicago"
The location is great and the employees were wonderful and helpful. The hotel is another old facility given a facelift which wasn't done well. Our first room had no heat. The second room also had no heat but service engineer fixed by removing the new cosmetic grill over an old air/heat unit. There was unfinished drywall in bathroom with paper paint […] tape still fixed to wall. The bed was wonderful and comfortable - the saving grace was the fact that we were probably first users of this room. I would worry that with time and use these rooms will be rundown in no time. We had a similar problem at the old Allerton Hotel downtown earlier this summer. This is a great location and neighborhood and I would love to stay here again if I could be assured the place is kept up. Les mer

We requested a room facing Lincoln Park and had a lovely view from the room. The rooms are entirely refurbished and the decor is lovely. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Free internet was a bonus. We got a fabulous rate (which was valid only for 24 hours) on Hotels.com. Mag mile is about a mile away. There is no room service. Breakfast […] is a grab n go affair and not included in the room rates. Nookies and Elly's are great breakfast places nearby. Les mer
"Awesome"
We made a last minute reservation and thought we had a room with a pull out bed. The hotel was just re-done so there was no pull out in our first room. The next room there was no couch at all. Katie at the front desk was awesome and gave us a 2 room suite that had a bedroom and a separate living room with a pull out couch. Way to go Katie. Restaruant […] was fantastic also. Les mer

Love the vibe of Hotel Lincoln. It's a combination of vintage charm and hipster flair. The coffeeshop in the lobby - Elaine's Coffee Call - has a great story behind it, and the baristas knew coffee better than anyone I've met. Nothing but the finest ingredients. On the edge between Old Town & Lincoln park. very nice area. Street parking available if your lucky and get there at right time. Hotel parking very expensive $44.00/day. Resteraunt in hotel very nice and has a nice view of local area.

Many great things about this brand-new hotel... friendly staff, great valet service, funky decor, outstanding location, awesome adjacent restaurant "Perennial Virant," and nice adjacent coffeeshop "Elaine's." But... AC was needed during this hot spell and it's noisy (turns off and on constantly) and doesn't do much chillin' even on High setting. Also, […] TV service was spotty (HD channels were out during entire 4-day stay), which might be due to the hotel still working the bugs out. I was out of the room a lot, so didn't really need TV and only called once to ask for it to be checked out. My room was very tiny, and needed a few more amenities for convenience... a robe hook, a luggage stand (mysteriously appeared on 3rd day) and better way to plug in the coffeemaker (I ended up balancing the coffeemaker tray on a wastebasket in order to reach an outlet). For a newly renovated space, room was lacking more outlets. But bed was comfy, pillows were soft, staff is trying hard, and valet service gets the car out front in minutes... and I had a great Hotels.com price. And did I mention the awesome Lincoln Park location, a part of the city that needs even more hotels! Les mer

The service and staff were really nice. You have to remember that it was renovated, so some things are still old. And wifi on my ipad didnt work, most of electricity outlets did not work. The room was way smaller than regular hotel rooms, so was the bathroom. And the way the furniture was set up was inconvenient. For Example, they had a coffee stand […] right inside the closet, and the fan instead of the bathroom was inside that coffee stand. The location was good; it was pretty close to downtown (but i still wouldn't walk there). There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. one thing that really sucked was that hotel didn't have free parking. You had to pay $44 per night. Les mer
"Birthday Cupcakes"
I booked a room for my girlfriend's birthday, which also happened to be on St.Patty's day. I got a deal from Hotel Lincoln's Twitter a few weeks back and were excited to try the new hotel out. When we were checking in, Michelle and the 2 receptionist started up a conversation on Irish Car Bomb cupcakes. After a long day of drinking we returned to the […] room to find a box on the desk table. The Hotel had 2 of the cupcakes waiting for us with a note attached saying happy birthday. It was a wondering cap to a fun day. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Lincoln Park. We will definitely be back again! Les mer

"Everything Old is (Mostly) New Again"
I recently stayed at the newly-reopened Hotel Lincoln -- conveniently located next to Lincoln Park itself and at the foot of the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. The staff was enthusiastic, welcoming and helpful, and had answers to most of the questions I posed during my stay. My room-- a junior suite to which I was upgraded, actually -- was both […] tasteful (in terms of being newly updated) and homelike (with its eclectic decor), with two bathrooms! There were only two things that I would improve -- the speed of the elevators, which were quite slow, and the hallway carpeting, which was badly in need of updating (and which I got to observe at length while waiting for the above-mentioned elevators). In addition, valet parking was quite expensive, but I guess that is true of any Chicago hotel. That said, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Lincoln Park section of Chicago. Les mer
We were in town to visit friends for St Pattys day and the location was perfect. I parked the car and walked everywhere we went. The Hotel in directly across from the park and there was a very good quality cafe for dinning at reasonable prices just one block away serving all meals. My complaint was that we were put in a handicap asseable room and the […] shower flooed the bathroom each time you used it. The problem is simply that the curtain is located outside the curb. The other item was that the vending macnines in the halls were empty and that didny seem to mean anything to anyone whrn I asked about getting some bottled water. We had a wonderful stay. We went for St. Patty's, and it was walking distance to plenty of nightlife. Also walking distance to the metro for when we went downtown to see the sights. Close by Lake Michigan - also walked there to put our feet in the lake. The staff was fantastic, even calling up to our room ten minutes after we checked in to make sure […] that everything was satisfactory and great. They have treats for animals and are very animal friendly. Cute cafe in lobby, and restaurant, as well. Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel. Fantastic location, great staff, clean rooms, even great decor. Definitely worth the stay and would love to stay again. Les mer
