Nice remodeled rooms. Neighborhood kinda sketchy and hotel old and dingy. A/C broken in our room.

I stayed a full week at this hotel while starting a new job in San Francisco. It is exactly one mile from the closest BART station (10 minute drive with stoplights) and conveniently a half mile from two large grocery stores. (for commuters: the BART ride from Concord to downtown SF is approx 45 minutes). My ground-level room was very large and comfortable. […] It had a kitchen, walk-in closet, and studio/bedroom complete with a dining nook. Above standard kitchen amenities were provided -- coffee maker, stove, microwave oven, and a fridge! All were in excellent working condition and very clean. The studio/bedroom was comfortable - the mattress was a bit firm but the pillows were all new and super fluffy. It also had great wall-heater that blew very hard and kept me warm all night. The bathroom was very clean and stocked with multiple bar soaps (note: no shampoo/conditioner provided). The shower had great water pressure and gave very hot water in the mornings and at night. There were only two things I didn't like about this hotel: (1) My room faced Montgomery St, which becomes quite noisy beginning around 4:00AM -- light sleepers should request a room away from the street. (2) The wireless internet is shared by all people in the hotel and therefore mostly unusable -- business travelers and students beware. Overall, this hotel was a great choice and I would recommend it to anybody, budget-minded or otherwise. It will be my first choice the next time I stay in Concord. Les mer

The room was nice and had all the amediaties for a small apartment. It had all the kitchen appliances and was decorated nice. It has a large walk-in closet and a seperate bathroom. They just need to update the exterior and the inside hallways.Will stay again.

It Was a good experience over all. There Was a study area, the colors were nice, the decor Was of good taste, plenty of outlets, the bathroom/shower were separate from the vanity area and bed. Everything was great.

some of the hotel staff are not very friendly and there was so much noise from above my room all day and night i have two younge children that woke up all night from noise other than that its a nice hotel for the area its in.

I saw this hotel online, and I finally pick it coz the reviews are okay, and it's a studio, I had never live in a studio before. However, after I check in, I was disappointed firstly because the faucet in the bathroom broken, I didn't shower through out my staying. Recently I stayed at the Studio 6 in Concord. Last minute booking for 2 Queen beds, . The male that served me spoke limited English, and I don't think he understand it either. Difficult to get directions to room Vending machines, were out of order. The room was large and looked like it had been remodeled. Combination Pergo and tile in room.comfortable,modern […] decorated - browns, lime green -a apartment size frig, 2 burner stove, counter, sink, table and chairs, flat screen and a chair with an ottoman. There was a balcony with glass sliding doors that was nice. The queen beds had 2 smaller than standard size pillows.. Had I checked in earlier and been able to speak to someone that was better in English I would have asked for more pillows. The bathroom- large walk in closet, sink area and separate shower toilet area. Basic towels and soap, no shampoo or extras, The shower was difficult to work, I could not get any pressure and than it took forever to shut off. Not Impressed- basically useless. My traveling companion just past on having a shower I could not get one of the keys to work and when I asked for another one, I had same communication problems, waited 10 minutes for another key and it would not work either. During check out was asked by owner/manager (unsure of his status) about my stay. When I told him about the shower he wanted to argue. I would not stay here again- unless I checked the shower in my room and would be able to get a room where I knew the shower worked. Les mer

I would never stay here again. It's dirty. The rooms looked like they haven't been vacuumed in a very long time. They were mini apartments or homes for people who couldn't get an apartment to live in. One of the rooms none of the lights worked. Very disappointed with this stay here. I reserved a non-smoking room and was giving a smoking room I confronted the front desk about this issue and was told that isn't a smoking room when it clearly was cause there was an ash tray in there. The manager then told me he can spray the room to make it smell better. I asked is there a different room he repiled […] there isn't anything else. Then to make matters even less comfortable upon check-in I had to wait for 45 mins for the room to be cleaned it was 4:30pm. Les mer

I liked the size of the room, the location of the hotel, and the speed of the internet connectivity. Unfortunately my wife and I didn't like the hotel service. The coffee maker had issues, the iron was bad, the room was not cleaned when it was supposed to be. At times the front desk could have been more helpful/responsive to our concerns and requests. […] I'm usually a pretty easy-going guy and let some things slide, but I'm pretty sure I will not be staying there again. while it's easy to find off a freeway turnoff, it's in a neighborhood too far from typical city business activity. the hallway to the room had cheap carpeting, and when we opened the door, the room had an unpleasant odor. it's not a hotel i would expect on expedia.

this was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in, with the worst front desk mgr. Requested a King non smoking and was given a 2 queen smoking. The desk mgr said no, I asked why were there two ashtrays by tthe bed. Cigarette burns on the furniture, and curtains falling off the rod. NOT A NICE PLACE AT ALL. A motel 6 would have been better and I will probably […] start using them instead. it was really a disaster. And your customer service rep told me it was a 4/5 for cleanliness. We asked for a non-smoking room and the room we received smelled like people had been smoking cigarettes in their everyday for several years. We bought scented candles to try and kill some of the smell, but the cigarette smell over powered the candles. The room had not been properly cleaned, the floor was not clean, and behind one of the night stands […] was food and garbage. The room was ugly, beds uncomfortable and no complimentary bfast. There was no shampoo in the room and the coffee maker had a huge bowl for the water but the packet was only for 4 cups. I paid way to much for this place for one night and paid less at other hotels with better quality.

I gave this low review because they did not remove the trush from previous person and smell bad, I found the trush container inside a cabinet by next morning and report to the Hotel manager. even the room was not ready when they said, I wait for and other 30 minutes as they were cleaning the room.

if you want a clean, nice place to stay- go somewhere else. Greatly disappointed- this place needs a complete overhaul. Until then, stay somewhere else.

This is the kind of hotel where the management lives on staff and functions more like an apt complex with long term residents. AKA, this hotel caters to the homeless clientele in this community. It is not well kept, unclean, staff are not hospitable. I chose it because it was close to the location where my business trip was centered. Convenient, close to lots of restaurants, mall, and freeway. Formerly a Comfort Inn and Suites. Good value in an iffy neighborhood. When I arrived, there was a firetruck with flashing lights, and smoke in the lobby. They had a small fire which I could smell even on the 3rd floor, but not in my room.

OK. A super huge room, separate bath and walk in closet. Decent TV. A bit noisy until 10 Pm or so. Still a good value.

Senior home converted to trash. This is NOT a Suite! Do not get fooled by the pictures. Nothing has window or door screens. One room was completely missing all the stuff hanging on the walls, but still had the anchors.Had 7 TV channels. 80% of all lighting was off in and around the building. Creepy! The extra room (Suite remember?) had no TV. 1 sink […] in bathroom only. Internet never worked. My buddy wanted coffee in the morning besides the maker in the room. Nope! Kitchenette? I've stayed at this hotel a number of times for business. It's conveniently located on the bus route. This stay was the worst. There's now no Continental Breakfast. I had to change rooms because the first one was next to the HVAC room and the mini-fridge made a racket, so I couldn't sleep. Also, the TV remote didn't work properly. The next room was […] quiet for 1 night, then the guests upstairs were noisy after the10pm quiet time the next 2 nights. The desk manager had to ask them to quiet down. The TV color was off, purple people. The shower drain was slow. Essentially, the hotel rooms are not well maintained. Not a 2 star hotel. Les mer

it's an older place. But, it's quiet, clean, employees were nice, the pool was nice, room was large, decent kitchen, and the price was right. Worth the price considering the prices of other hotels in the area.
