"Comfortable Room"
We were looking for a place to stop just to sleep and do some laundry in the middle of a 3 week trip. I called 2 times and was assured that there were laundry facilities. This was not the case upon check in. I was referred to the truck stop across the street for laundry services. Dispite the laundry issue, the room was quite comfortable for our one […] night. close to I 95. charged addition $ 5.00 because (being old) we could not walk up to the second floor. paid the five so they could move us to a room on the first floor. the hotel was not crowded. room were clean. a little noisy in the morning.
"Cheap and you get what you pay for."
I wanted an inexpensive place to spend one night and this hotel did fit the ticket. The location is good but it's obvious that the minimum maintenance has been done there for some time. It's also very noisey from the trafic (it's across the street from a major Truck Stop). There were a lot of feature I did like, ref/micro, iron and board, coffee maker […] but the carpet had not been changed since the 80's and it showed. I was very disappointed when I inquired about cribs as we were watching our two young granddaughters that night and there were no cribs. It advertises that cribs are free. The owner suggested $15 for roll-away beds but we were all ready paying $15 a night for our pet and the girls wouldn't be able to sleep on roll-aways. The room was adequate. Decent for the few hours we were there before travelling home. I felt that the bedding was not washed (my spouse and I travel all the time, as we are motorcyclists) because it did not have a fresh smell and they were wrinkled. It looks like the bed was made but the bedding was not washed. We actually slept in our clothes. The […] price that was charged was what I paid to stay in a Best Western (much better quality). "Good location to I95"
Motel is rather old, however our room was recently remodeled and very nice. Recommend staying on the back side of the motel due to truck traffic. There is a Truck Stop accross the street. We would stay their again if opportunity arises. Price was right.
Highly recommend & very good value. Only negative comment is that bed was not made when room towels were replaced. Very friendly & helpful front desk staff & when I had trouble getting online with my laptop, front desk staff person was able to...he, too, was very friendly & helpful.

since we were away during the day and only wanted a place to sleep, this hotel was alrright. It was a little over priced. Truck stop/gasoline right across the street. Got rather noisy at times.

Asked for non smoking room and 1st floor was told none available. Room smelled like an ashtray and there were plenty of vacant 1st floor rooms. I wouldn't stay there again.

I stayed in the Vero HoJo three nights while visiting my dad, who has retired in Vero. The hotel is a 70's-style outside entry motel located just off I95. What makes it special is the updating of the facility and great service. New paint, carpeting, and shower curtain showed the owner is making a real effort to create a comfortable, affordable accommodation. As […] for service, when a neighbor got a little noisy, a call to the owner/manager got things quiet again in mere minutes. He also moved me to the other side of the motel the next morning. I found him to be courteous and genuinely caring for my needs. I wlll definitely stay there again on my next visit to Vero. Les mer

"Ho Jo's - such a deal"
motel was conviently located to I95 and close to downtown Vero beach, truck stop, restauraunts. Plenty of parking for trucks or towable vehicles.Your typical 2- story motel from the '70's, a mom & pop run gig. Very honest, helpful staff. Great when you need to stay for a week or weekend, and do not want to spend a fortune.

"Ok stay"
Ok hotel for a quick one or two nights. The property outside needs some work but the inside is clean. The bed was very soft and very comfortable. They serve breakfast too early and not long enough for the late risers. Overall good stay.

This hotel is a gem in the rough. I could not believe what a great value. I checked around and read alot of reviews. I felt like the reviews were good but I was taking a chance since this was the least expensive. Well I am glad I took a chance because this hotel was AMAZING! CLEAN and everything you would need...microwave, frig, coffee maker, cable […] w/HBO and WIFI. The beds were awesome and so were the pillows. I could not have asked for a better stay. My family doesn't require anything fancy when we travel so Howard Johnson Inn - Vero Beach was perfect for us! It was clean, the staff was friendly and the free continental breakfast was a plus! The only complaint I have is that they didn't have a fresh stock of towels and wash cloths available when needed. We needed some in the evening but were told […] they wouldn't have any until morning. We will be visiting Vero Beach several times over the next few months and would definately stay here again. The rate was unbeatable thanks to hotels.com! Les mer
The hotel staff were very friendly and polite. The internet was not working which was a real nuisance as we were unable to check in for our flight the following day. Main grumble about this hotel is definitely location, we were 10 miles from the beach. Pool was in middle of car park and surrounded by large trucks.

"Dingy"
Was the kind of hotel room where you feel like you should sleep on top of the blanket with your clothes on. Bathroom was disgusting, someone's hair was left all over the shower walls and toilet.

"Great room for the money"
The hotel was small, clean and came with a small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, iron and board,a hair dryer and continental breakfast. It had an unheated pool. The bed's were very firm. It was a quiet area, plenty of parking and the staff was very helpful and curteous.

Hotel service and room were what was expected for the money. I was very dissatisfied with the pool and where it was located. Also it was not cleaned the night I spent there. It was full of bugs. So we were unable to take advantage of using the pool during our stay. It is by no means a luxury hotel, but what do you expect for the price. It was nice if […] all you need is a decent place to lay your head for the night. They did offer a nice breakfast however we didn't take advantage of that either. "Convenient"
We booked it hours before arriving and paid a very low rate. Basically you get what you pay for. It was adequate and all that was needed for the quick 8 hours of sleep and then out the door again. It's obviously not 5 star quality, but for the money it was just fine.

found bugs on bed (multiple). hotel staff was very nice .no rules at pool ,a car pulled up to the pool and blasted the radio all day and there entire family had cooler of beer inside pool area .i felt very uncomfortable taking my children in the pool area .

The Hotel Managers, that live on site, were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeper, Brenda, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She made sure we had extra towles and my coffee wothout being asked every day. It was a very relaxing week.

This is a cheap room with a bagel, orange juice, and coffee included. They are very well located about a mile off from I-95 so I was able to do what I wanted to do but the wireless internet was not working on both days I stayed. I had to pay for a wireless connection accross the street on a TA gas station which, by the way, did not work at all. I called […] their customer service but they could not fix it either. I did not bother to ask for a refund of the $4.95 I paid for 24 hours. The staff was very courteous and the place is well lighted and seems safe. The rooms are old but I honestly think that you get what you pay for. I just expected more from the Howard Johnson brand. Les mer

Very clean and new room...the place doesn't look like much from the outside & I was very sceptical when I pulled up, but I was very please in the end. Best mattress I've slept on and everything was spotless!

The hotel was nothing elligant; however, clean and well-kept. The room had a problem with the bathroom light not going off, but overall, it wasn't bad.
