Hadde en natt på reise til Boston og valgte et litt bedre hotel for oppholdet i området. Dette var et meget flott 4 stjerners hotell som føltes som 5. Fra det at vi kom til hotellet i taxi så fikk vi den flotte behandlingen. Luksusfølelse hele tiden med super proff og hyggelig personell på arbeid. Fikk god hjelp med bykart, tips og råd, veksling av penger og bagasjehjelp inn og ut. Stort flott rom med superflott bad og kjempegod seng. Vi burte ha vart her flere dager men kommer sikkert tilbake for litt mer "luksus" i hverdagen.

Hotellet ligger rolig til i den litt bedre bydelen. I nærheten er det mange merkeklær butikker av den dyre typen. Det er noen minutter å gå til barer og uteliv, men bl.a. Cheers ligger nærme. Hotellet kan oppleves som litt "stuck up" for dem som har noe mer penger enn folk flest, men hotellet er pent & rent og har en god service. Ekstrakostnad for wifi er minus, samt at undertegnede ikke liker å bli stående i en defekt heis... Bra "posh" hotell.

"GORGEOUS!"
Booked our stay through Hotels.com. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Clean, beautiful, and very close to Boston!! While we were there we ate at a nearby restaurant called "The Naked Fish" FANTASTIC! Everything about our stay, from the moment the door was held for us when we arrived till the moment we left was absolute PERFECTION! thank you!
"What about security?"
The Hotel is very nice, clean and very confortable bed. The only concerning issue is that after I returned from my day long meeting I found my room door ajar. I walked in slowly thinking maybe a cleaning staff might be in but no one was in the room. For some reason the cleaning staff or somebody left my room open. "Great deal, not far from the city, few complaints."
Clean, fresh, comfortable room, with that great Westin bed and shower. Only stayed there for a night, and didn't take advantage of the room service. There didn't seem to be much around in the neighborhood at all other than a few office buildings. For a stay on a busy holiday weekend, the rate was very very reasonable, even including parking. The pool, […] sauna, and whirlpool was very nice, however could have used some housekeeping attention re: dirty towels, disarray, broken elevator, and such. Overall? "The Westin Waltham-Boston: nice"
We stayed at the Westin Waltham-Boston for one night in March 2012. We got a really good rate on our one night stay and probably would not have stayed there if we had to pay the rack rate. Anyway, it's conveniently located right off the highway in a safe/quiet "business-class" area with lots of other mid-size hotels and small office buildings. It's […] clean, and well run. The room was very nice and we had a great view of the surrounding area including the reservoir. My only complaint about the room was that the in-room fridge was full of "at-cost" beverages and no room for anything else. The indoor pool area and gym was particularly nice as compared to other hotels that I've stayed at, however, the pool was a bit small. All in all this is a very nice and well-run hotel. But I would expect this from a Westin. Les mer
"Would stay here again"
Comfortable, clean room. Good location. A mall and several places to eat are within a few minutes drive. The area is very quiet, but you feel very safe. Only 20 minutes drive into Boston. We will definitely stay here again!
"Good business hotel"
Fine place if you're doing business in the western suburbs of Boston. Especially comfortable beds. A/C and heating work well. Shower is great. Hotel is quite clean but getting just a wee bit tired.
i stayed for two nights. the check in was quick, the staff was very courteous and helpful. i thought it would have been more upscaled for a 4 star hotel, but it was still good. i would stay there again.
"Where I always stay in Boston"
I have stayed at the Westin-Waltham about 8 times in the last three years. I am always satisfied. The room is extremely comfortable; the bed, shower, TV and wifi are high quality and easy to use. There is a certain serenity about the hotel, and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The breakfast is very good, although a bit pricey, and the […] pool and work out room are very pleasant and good benefits. The location is right off rte 95, so although it's not in downtown Boston or Cambridge, it's easy to get anywhere you need to in the area. I am pretty picky and highly recommend this hotel. Les mer

The Bellmen where all great and friendly. We also stumbled into Sunday Brunch and the food selection and price where wonderful.We had a great stay at this hotel and will stay here again when in the Boston area.
"The Westin Waltham-Boston - don't expect too much"
The first thing I do when I check in is check the beds for bugs and cleanliness. Thank god there was no sign of bedbugs anywhere. However, the bed was far from immaculate. Under the sheet there were all kinds of hairs stuck to the mattress and there were even hairs on some of the linens. There were pen marks and stains on the pillows. On one bed half […] of the mattress had a huge brown crusty stain like someone spilled coffee on it and it was never cleaned. There was another brown oily type stain on one of the bed skirts with a chunk of something stuck to it. Really gross. Not only that, but both beds the sheets had holes in them. There were no bathrobes included with the room either and no mini-fridge. It was so hot in the room (middle of January) that I had to turn the A/C on just so we could sleep. Also the restaurant at the hotel is laughably expensive so make sure you plan to find food elsewhere. I will say however the employees are VERY nice and helpful and the hotel itself is nice. Just need to pay attention to housekeeping more. Les mer

"Long weekend"
It was a nice, clean hotel - in a great location. The staff was very helpful - however, one thing missing was availability of spa services.

Stayed in the Jr. Suite at this hotel and it was very nice, comfortable beds, plenty of room. Room service was great, staff at desk very nice and helpful. I love going to hotels where I am treated like a guest and feel the hotel is happy for my choice. I would highly recommend this hotel and take the time to walk around, it's lovely!!

I am from Waltham originally so in attending a high school reunion we felt the need to pamper ourselves. This place was wonderful, very affordable and quiet. The only negative and this is so minor is we did not have enough coffee creamers for morning coffee in our room..again very minor
"Westin still above the rest"
I'm an Engineer and joined others in Needham They stayed at near by other hotels ( 5 star) No way did any of them compare to Westin. I Hope to go back to Needham MA just to stay and Eat there! The dinner was magnificant!

"The Westin-Waltham Boston"
The staff was very kind and helpful to us in every way. We just had some surgery and the staff brought all of our luggage to the room, extra pillows and assisted us with getting into the room. They also parked our car and took care of getting us back to the car the next day. We greatly appreciated all of their assistance.

"Great Hotel"
We stayed in the hotel for one night. Conveniently located to I 95 exit. The room, bed, bathroom and shower were sparky clean. I didn't dine in any of in-house restaurants but noticed that surrounding area doesn't provide lots of food options. I would recommend this hotel.
"Stay in Boston"
This hotel was wonderful if your planning a wedding or a celebration, but if your vacationing in Boston I would stay in Boston. The hotel was not cheap and you had to pay for parking and it's 20 minutes from downtown. It was really hard figuring out the expressways to Boston, if you are taking 95 to get into town make sure you do 95S it comes up really […] quick and of course the first night we did 95N. If you stay in this area go and stay at the Hilton Garden Hotel exit 32B, it was wonderful and half the price, no charge for parking. Les mer

"Westin Waltham overtaken by wedding"
I have stayed at this hotel before and it was fine, but this time a large wedding on Saturday evening there made my stay miserable. When I arrived after visiting my son at BC Saturday evening, the entire parking garage was full and buses were blocking the valet area, resulting in me driving round stalking departing party goers to find a place to park. […] Since I was paying $11 per night for garage parking, I was not happy. Even worse was arriving outside my room to find bridesmaids and groomsmen loudly coming and going from a neighboring room. This went on from 11pm-2:30am, and noise from another room's party came through the air vent next to my pillow until 4am. I called the hotel security and they claimed they would look into it, but the noise never stopped. I will not be staying there again. Les mer
I guess because the Westin Waltham- Boston was rated a 4.0 star hotel, room service and telephone calls were exceptionally expensive. Items on the room service menu had many additional fees and charges as well as their high, high prices. Needless to say, we did not use this service or make telephone calls. The beds were not terribly comfortable either. […] I will say it was a very convenient location. Our room was very far from the elevator, however. Had I known, I should have asked for one closer to it. Overall I was not terribly impressed with the hotel, though I must say we did get a good rate for the night we stayed there. I suppose it depends on what you are looking for as to whether or not this is the right hotel for you, It was not for us. Les mer

"Great Stay"
We only stayed on night, but it was a blast. The junior suite was very clean, the bed was great, and we had a nice time. The pricing for the food is crazy, so we went out to eat elsewhere. But other than that, I would stay here again. Worth the price.

Moldy bathroom. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Weak wifi connection (for $9.99). Dented, dinged furniture. Tap water that smelled so badly we had to drink from $4.50 bottles. A loud air handler. Parking garage that was so completely full of dangling spiders it was a challenge to walk. A weight machine that can only be described as 'low end consumer'. […] And the incidentals will cost you as much as the stay - $24 per person for breakfast. Just not up to Hilton standards but there isn't an option in Waltham. Les mer

"Nice hotel, 20 min from T line to Boston"
This hotel is pretty nice, I wanted an affordable trip to Boston so I booked in Waltham and took the T to the city. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, although there was a dead crusty bug on the ceiling near the window. The internet and parking costs is included, but for internet I had to "accept" charges for internet when I logged on. The charges […] never appeared on my bill and they explained this all to me at check in. I ended up extending my stay by one extra night, and while I was at their fitness center they deactivated my keycard and acted like I was a criminal. That was the one downside to an otherwise stellar hotel. Learn how to work your system or don't act like I'm trying to break into my own hotel room. Who takes a photo ID with them to the fitness center? Best features of this hotel: Bedding, fitness center, and cookies at check in. Worst features: bug on wall, weird internet non-billing, and inability to extend a stay without updating keycard. Les mer

Pool too small, whirlpool ok but both needed to be cleaned, sauna room not hot enough. Bed very comfortable, pretty quiet.
we stayed 1 night during our New England roadtrip and would definitely stay again if we ever get back to Boston

Only 15 min drive outside the city; well worth it to save 50% of what you pay for a Westin in Boston downtown. Great service, same comfort as all other Westin's.

I was in this hotel for a short period of relaxation. I wanted a comfortable but NOT expensive place to stay and this hotel happens to meet those both criterias.
