For så vidt helt greie rom, men... Hotellet er gigantisk, og det er fort gjort å gå seg bort fra parkeringsanlegget til resepsjonen. Heisene bruker en evighet, og vi måtte ofte vente 5-10 minutter for å komme oss opp eller ned. It was a spontaneous last minute getaway but I managed to find a great deal on the way to AC. I never stayed at Tropicana before, I mostly stayed at Ceasar and Bogata but this place didn't disappoint me a bit. I will definitely come back to this casino soon.

We enjoyed the Tropicana even though it isn't one of the new hotels on the strip.

Three of us stayed in the West Tower, which was much newer than Havana Tower - with newer and better accommodations . The room was larger than expected, with two King-sized beds. Bathroom was huge, so enough for three girls to get ready. The two negatives are the parking, the noise level of where we stayed, and checkout. The main road to the hotel self-parking […] was closed, with no detour signs to get to the alternate entrance. We had to pull over and call to get there. For the noise level, maybe it was because we stayed over on a Saturday night and we were staying by an elevator, but it was way too noisy, with way to many drunk people. The checkout was ridiculous - everyone has a check out time of 11:00am, so course the elevator was backed up. We waited for 20 mins, and ended up separating so that we could leave at a decent time. Perhaps checkout times should be staggered? Les mer

The hotel itself was beautiful. However, at check in the ladies who were working at the desk were extremely rude. Latosha did not smile once, in fact she was scowling the whole time. When we asked her how to get to our room she mumbled. Cecilia was the other lady at the desk. I witnessed her yell at a man because he approached the desk before she called […] him up. All she was doing was stapling papers. He apologized and went back with all his luggage. She said in a very condescending way "Well you might as well stay up here now, but I wasn't finished." So he came back with his tail between his legs. We were there for my sister's bachelorette party and were so excited. I was very happy when I walked up to the desk. There was no hospitality whatsoever from these two, they made me feel like an idiot. Unfortunately none of the people who worked there were helpful, except the ones who worked at boogie nights. We would ask for directions around the huge hotel, we would get dirty looks, or questions of "why do you wanna get there?". We were in an area with ash trays so we thought it was a smoking area. The guy came and yelled at us so loudly everyone was staring and he threatened us with a fine. We were literally 8ft from the actual smoking area. The stay was great other than that. I just can't believe every person who works there is that rude. No please, no thank you, no you're welcome. Nothing. I don't know how they even keep their jobs. Les mer

If it weren't for a lack of drawer space to unpack, my overall rating would be much higher. When I say "lack of drawer space", I mean ZERO drawer space...none. I've stayed in 4 & 5 star hotels and a few more 1,2, & 3's and they all had one thing in common...a place to unpack and put your clothes. Stayed at The Tropicana with a group of friends for a welcome home night out for a friend visiting home from California. Was thrilled to see the room I stayed in was renovated and MUCH cleaner than a previous stay. No complaints except for thin walls and a very loud group next door that woke a few of us up around 6:00am, would stay again.

This was the most I have ever paid for one night's stay and it was not even as nice as other places I have stayed for a fraction of the price, but given that price is tied to demand and all the hotels were getting similar prices, I quess it was ok. The services at check-in, check-out, bell-hop and valet were excellent. The only complaint I had was that […] the shower curtain could have been cleaner, the bathroom could have been updated and the room was just basic. My wife was so happy when she saw jacuzzi in the room but later she had to clean it BY HERSELF. She asked room service for clorox cleaner, because the tub was so dirty. We tried to put some water in, but some nasty black dirty dust came out from the whole. So, finally we did not used the jacuzzi. Tropicana is a decent place to stay. Definitely a party casino. Plently of clubs and young ladies. Tropicana is cool for what it is. Don't expect quiet. Multiple rooms on my floor were very loud until almost 5am. Room was clean no complaint with service. Distance from parking garage to hotel lobby sucks. The hotel overall was a great value. The kids loved "the quarter". The rooms were outdated but ok. We are planning to stay there again this summer.

Check-in was quick and trouble-free. The clerk was pleasant and efficient. The room was just OK: a little dated and missing some useful amenities. For example: there was no bath tub, only a very large shower - but no shower cap on the counter. My girlfriend didn't want to have to re-do her hair so no shower cap was a problem. The rest of the hotel was, […] as usual, well run and clean. A couple peeves: the buffet wasn't open except on the week-ends. Perhaps if it wasn't ridiculously expensive, more people would eat there and they could stay open. Similarly, 10-bucks for self-parking? Really? It was OK. I expect better. the overoll of the hotel was good. I had a little problem with the admission because I forgot my ID. anyway everything was addressed and ressolved.

I had a beautiful room facing the ocean. It was a great view to fall asleep to and wake up to. The staff was nice. We ordered room service and were told an hour wait. They were punctual and arrived on the hour. Only complaint is room service order sat in the hallway all morning and night for guests on the entire floor.

The hotel view was awesome as we were on the 49th floor of the 50-storey hotel. It was a corner sea facing room. The night-view was wonderful and so were the hotel rooms. Tropicana has a variety of clubs/pubs/leisure bars and the casino was equally majestic. They sprung a bogus security policy during the AC Beer Festival. A clear attempt to rake extra money from guests that are sharing rooms. Not cool.

Our first room was in the North Tower and awful, they moved us to the West tower which had a much better room, but a mess of an elevator situation.

The room was just what we needed, a place to crash of the AC Beerfest and Music Festival. I didn't like that security guards were checking for room keys at the base of the elevators, but other than that our room was great and clean. The Tropicana has everything you need right in the hotel. This comes in handy during cold weather. You do not have to go outside to get your dose of dining and entertainment.

Loved the Quarter, Cuba Libre, shopping and the Irish Pub. Loved Boogie Nights. Rooms in need of serious updating. Awful view of neighborhood.

The hotel was amazing! I checked in without a problem. I was even able to change my room from double beds to king during check-in. I was there with my fiancé for the weekend and had a blast. The buffet and casinos were fabolous!! There prices were reasonable. The only problem we had was our tub kept filling up every time we took a shower, and that is […] not only unsanitary but nasty! when we went to check in we had issues with our reservation. spent 20 min at counter trying to get it resolved. had to call the website and get a verification faxed over. it was a hassle and the hotel was not very helpful. also we wanted room service which was CLOSED. yet in our room the book said "all day dining " . they said the hotel did not have […] enough occupancy to open room service. the room itself was clean yet the tv was old and the walls were thin. heard a couple next door arguing from 2am till about 4am . restaurants were great and casino was fun but nothing going on at night on a tues and wed.
