Stayed only a night but were very satisfied with the accommodations as well as the service . Staff at the front desk were very helpful and efficient. The food and the service in the dining room was excellent It was a very pleasant stay. We would recommend it to anyone.

Great! Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. Great room, loads of space, clean and comfortable. Hope to be back soon. We stayed overnight on our trip and wish we could have stayed longer.

And also doors that go right to the floor - that would help to keep the noise down from other guests - nearly 3/4 inch gap at the bottom on mine. Lovely staff tho, and a good location. Well maintained overall. Room service was prompt and delicious - not massively expensive. Free breakfast was good considering the cost!!

Staff came to the room after we checked-in to make sure we were satisfied with the room and to ask our opinion regarding the cleanliness of the room. (It was perfect.)

Very clean, super comfy bed, great staff, underground parking go in and out as you please! Plus a free breakfast! Walk right down town in less then 2 minutes...great location!! Would definitly recommend this hotel and we plan on going again in the futur!

Enjoyed our stay, except for a very noisey room a few roms from ours but it was contained as not to disturb us. Reastaurant and bar staff were very pleasant and had great conversation with them which we don't usually experience.

Slow check-in (60 plus minutes)... the key machine wasn't working, we were promised the keys would be delivered to the room, they never did show so back down to the desk I went to get them myself (3rd visit to the desk in 60)... the breakfast experience was the most chaotic experience ever.

I arrived in my room only to be struck by a chemical smelling odor (most likely a strong perfume) that hit you as soon as you opened the door. My immediate call to the front desk was answered by Andy and after telling her about the smell she offered a new room before I even had a chance to ask myself. She met me at the elevor on the floor of my new […] room and since the hotel was quiet that night, she also gave me a free upgrade to to a junior suite (I booked a studio suite). I applaud her for taking control and turning what could have been a bad experience into a positive one. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past when a good rate is available and recommend the hotel to others. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Updates to the lobby completed sometime over the last couple of years are nice and updates to hotel rooms are also pleasing... the only negative comment about my room I would say is that I had to turn the temperature of the shower all the way to Hot to get a the temperature I wanted... and I don't like a shower that hot so other guest might not find the shower hot enough. A very good location for exploring downtown Halifax. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is pet friendly.. Unfortunately we were there for a Saturday night and other noisy guests arrived back to their rooms regularly until 4 am. We were constantly woken due to this. There is poor sound proofing between the rooms and corridor. Also, all of the pillows […] were huge and my family of five all agreed that the the pillows were very uncomfortable. By simply providing softer or a range of pillows we would have had a better sleep. Les mer

everything was great ,but the heating system in room. had to put extra blankets on bed to keep warm even water in shower not very hot

It was a nice room and staff were fine but when I booked I specifically asked for adjoining rooms and when we arrived the rooms were adjacent but there was no door connecting them.

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Made good recommendations. There were a couple of negatives, the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel has stopped so you have to get a taxi or public transport (the website advertises the shuttle service). The beds have huge pillows which are very uncomfortable with no give. The restaurant was undergoing refurbishment […] so only room service was available during the day. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the radio which was TEAC and had great tone. The hotel was quite full but not noisy. There were places to socialize and places to walk. Lots of available stores for shopping. Breakfast was included and very good.

Beds were super comfy parking was 16$ but had its own parking garage which was nice had an excellent breakfast the staff were super nice. would stay here again definitely

Good to have breakfast included. Easy walk downhill to waterfront and other restaurants and activities. Also hand for shopping on Spring Garden and visit to the Public Gardens. Nice large room and quiet .

Fantastic hotel in all ways from the rooftop BBQ, to the gym, view, room and especially the staff. We would definitely stay here on our next visit to Halifax.

This hotel has a convernient location downtown with convernient parking. Driving around Halifax is not easy so having attractions and restaurants in walking distance was very helpful. Room very clean, modern & comfortable. Hallway carpets a bit worn & tired. Close to downtown amenities. Breakfast was great. A good value for the money.

The only bad thing I can say is we reserved a queen room and were placed in a double. Just not enough room when we sleep in a king bed. However the bed & pillows were quite comforble - just not big enough.

Quick check in , friendly staff. If parking a car, expect to pay about $17 for 24 hours with in and out priviledges. The free breakfast was simple, but they had menus to.order full hot breakfast at a reasonable price too. My suite had a kitchenette, not sure if its common but it came in handy. The room was large, clean, and nicely laid out. The hotel is located centrally within walking distance of lots of things to do. Although parking is not included in the price, the desk staff were helpful about giving me tips as to where to park on the street and when free parking started. We enjoyed our experience at the Cambridge Suites Hotel very much. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room very clean. The complementary breakfast was a highlight with many choices and the coffee delicious. We will return to the Cambridge Suites when next in Halifax.

The room was clean and well organized. The staff were very pleasent and the complimentary breakfast was nice. The hotel is too far away from the waterfront to have a view from your room. The parking garage is small and trecherous, parking was expensive and the staff actively discourage parking out front, overall the parking facilities are inadaquate. […] For tourists on foot, the hotel is a long walk from the waterfront, up a steep hill. Hotel was a great place to stay. Would definitely stay there again. Location was very good only being about a 4 block walk from the water front. The front reception staff were very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They tried to be helpful in every way possible which was appreciated since we were new to the city. The top deck balcony also provided […] a decent view of the city as well. The continental breakfast was just like at all other hotels so we were satisfied there. Overall it was a very good hotel. We loved te hotel, the room was nice, the continental breakfast was excellent and it was nice to walk everywhere downtown! We had a great view of the harbour!
