Vi kom litt skeptiske til Miami. Er dette noe, liksom. Men etter dagene der, er vi hel frelste og det er takket være Ocean Plaza Beach Resort. Du kommer der og blir møtt av folk som tar bilen din og setter den i garasjen. De tar ut kofferter og åpner dører. Inne er det verdens hyggeligste mann som vil ta koffertene opp til hotellrommet. Og i reseptionen er det bare smil å se. En føler seg så tatt vare på av alle som jobber der og når stranden hotellet ligger på er verdens flotteste og sjøen er lyse grønn, ja da er livet herlig:-)

Et fantastisk charmerende sted med en fin frokost og hyggeligt samvær med andre gester. Kan varmt anbefales hvis du ønsker en ekstra oplevelse i Savannah. Er beliggende meget sentralt.

All perfect, except housekeeping that was a disaster. I had two connecting rooms, and had left one pice of cloth on one of the four beds. Housekeeping left a nice note on the bed that they were not allowed to move private items so the room could not be cleaned. First time I have experienced such an attitude.

The hotel was very good but i did my reservacion using HOTEL.COM. I had 3 types of bedrooms to select and I paid for the one that supposed to have pollview balcony .... It seems that Hotel.com never ever informed them about my choice so they gave me a regular one. Be careful when there are options .... there is a miscomunication between them!
"nice hotel, nice location"
Very nice hotel for the price. Clean, quiet, and close to the beach. The clerks are friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast is good. The Only awkwardness is that the registration and the hotel is not in the same building and has to walk for about two minutes.

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Loved making my own waffles in the morning for breakfast. Just a short walk to the beach (10 min max). Nothing fancy but very clean and comfy rooms. No fridge in our room but I think you can request one if needed. Would defiantly stay here again!!
"Off Season"
Great off season get away. Great off season rates. No crowds. Weather was great. Too cold to swim, but pool looked great. Room was clean. Location about 2 blocks from ocean. Saw Harbor Town and other local attractions. Would stay here again.

The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, but it is kind of strange that the registration is so far from the actual hotel building. Breakfast is OK and room is acceptable. Not the greatest though, but for the price it will do.
"Off season, No crowds."
Dec 27th and 28th after holiday get away. Great off season rate. Location a short diatance to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Too cold to swim, but not too cold sight see. I don't play golf , but the courses were beautiful. Temp 60 to 65. Hilton Head is clean and beautiful. Charged $1.50 per day for using the room safe. Thought that was strange. […] Never been charged for it anywhere before. Would recommend to others and stay there again. Les mer

"Close to beach"
Inconvenienced by breakfast located in another building, but it was worth the walk. The hot breakfast was very good! From looking at maps thought the beach would be within walking distance, but is not.

I did not like that the lobby was detached and down the road from the hotel itself. The staff was friendly and helpful.

"Comfort Inn south forest beach"
We enjoyed our stay the hotel is close to everything. The pool was like in a botanical garden with lots of vegetation and a lake near by. The hotel has a full breakfast. Our kids enjoyed the bike rental place right next to the hotel. Hotel is within walking distance to the beach about a block away.
Room was too hot. Had to wait on room to be cleaned at 4:30 afternoon of check-in. Breakfast one person staffed to keep food and coffee replenished--need more staff for the demand of crowd-they were working as fast as they could. Many customers not satisfied.

Great location for going to Coligny Beach or the stores at the circle. Excellent value. Skip Coral Resorts timeshare. Wasted a morning with them for $0.
"Comfort Inn - Great Location, Awful Beds"
Everything was great about the location and hotel except the pull out bed - literally the worst one I have ever seen in my life. Springs were broken or missing and the mattress was about 2 inches thick. Don't get a room with a pull out if you plan to sleep on it!

A lucky find for the pleasant and unexpected vacation experience! Close to the beach and Coligney Plaza, walking or riding a bike made for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. The grounds are lovely with alligator and turtles. The breakfast was good and the coffee was served all day in a couple locations. Parking in the garage or on the lot was excellent. "Nothing works"
The room had most of what you expect to find, telephone, clock radio, hair dryer etc. What you do not expect is that they are all broken. The phone made a terrible clicking noise due to the connector being broken and shoved into the phone. The clock radio was dead. The WiFi was not on the network and no connections could be made. The hair dryer was […] out of order and so was the electrical outlet at the sink. The television worked but no one cared. I left this list of issues with the hotel but no one ever called to ask about our issues nor were they corrected. Don't stay here! Les mer

I was very happy with the hotel itself. We had a partial power outage and the hotel staff at that point seemed very incompetant and not proactive at all. It only affected a few rooms or I would have been more understanding. It was 34 degrees outside and our heat and some lights in the hotel were off for hours. I had to call several times for an update […] but the night staff could only tell me that they had contacted a maintenance man and had no options to make our stay more pleasant with a space heater or an option to relocate. The next day, all that they could tell me was that it 'was a problem with the island's power' but even themn, they were not certain and not apologetic. This was disappointing. "It's what you make of it"
As with any hotel, you make the best of what you paid for. We like to stay here, because it is pet friendly and the location is great. Rent some bikes, get some exercise and leave the car parked for a couple of days!! Only disappointment, no microwave or refrigerator in our room. May have to check out a different hotel next time, but for 1 or 2 nights, […] we can survive without either. Just bring a cooler. Les mer

Easy to park and get to. Not the prettiest hallways but the guest rooms were clean, internet was fast and people were nice. Average hotel for cheap price!

"Comfortable, Clean Hotel in Great Location near beach"
Nice (outdated but clean) family friendly hotel, located within walking distance of great beach and restaurants. Bikes available for renting, lots of bike paths which are safe for kids. Excellent value for money
"Good for money and location"
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times previously and been satisfied each time. Nothing fancy and some very minor inconviences but no major problems. Park the car and walk to beach and restaraunts.

This hotel was made for families on a budget. Service was nice. Rooms were ok. Beach was a 5-10 minute walk from the rooms.

"Not what we expected"
first off we got there at dark and the gentleman at the desk said the beach was a half a block away. sounded good. then he told us that the actual hotel rooms were a good block or more BEHIND where you check in at. very dissappointed. paid for three nights but checked out after one. would not recommend!

Room was neat and clean, in a great location. The only problem was the A/C unit did not keep up.

Founed roaches crawling over beds at 4:00am; toilet did not drain properly, A/C stopped and could not be turned back on, then turned on by itself a long time later but it had nothing to do with temperatures; front desk did not care about the roaches and put it off as "it's the season for Palmetto Bugs"

The hotel was great for the money but does need a few improvements.. It seems much farther than just 2 blocks from the beach.. so the walk was much farther than anticipated. However, it was located in a very central location on the island.. not very far from restaurants and shops.

Problems---Air Conditioner would not cool--fixed prompyly.--Door wouldn't close unless forced---Breakfast was good but had to go back to check-in to get it and last, the distance to the beach was too far to walk and carry all your things. The reason I would recommend it to others was the price---Great price for the area.
