Store rene og flotte rom med god temperatur. Døgnåpen informasjonensdesk med veldig god service. God beliggenhet med gåavstand, samt taxi tilgjengelig til enhver tid. Lekker frokostbuffet! Spesielt godt fornøyd med lobby og barområdet hvor vi kunne samles et par timer på kvelden før vi gikk til hvert vårt rom!:):)

Hotellet lå svært sentralt, bare 150 meter fra Sheaperds Bush stasjonen, som ligger på Central line (den røde undergrunnen). Ved stasjonen ligger også Westfield, et stort, nytt handlesenter. Jeg hadde bestillt rom med to enkelsenger og da de ikke hadde det, fikk jeg oppgradering til et rom med kingsize seng. Rommet var stort og flott, nydelige badehåndklær og badekåper.

Sentral beliggehet for tuben til alt som er viktig, men heldigvis et stykke unna Oxford Street. Nær Victoria for tog til Gatwick. Sentral for Heathrow.Helt greit hotell i rolig strøk, Earls Court, Betjeningen kunne smilt, men det var en detalj. Fikk stort rom. Koste oss. Frokost ikke inkludert. Spiste på de nærmeste pubene. God mat og hyggelig der. […] Gode gastropuber i området. I tillegg tre gode lokals for last orders. Alle fotballarenaer nås på relativ kort tid. Positivt: Anbefaller dette framfor flere hotel i nærheten. Fint bad, godt rengjort. kort vei til nærmeste tbane. anbefaller Gourmet Burger 4min unna. Negativt: selv om du bestiller med frokost, må du dobbeltsjekke, de får det ikke alltid med seg på frokostlisten. Internett virket sporadisk på rommet, men dette kan ha vært mitt utstyr

"Bedre rengjøring av rommene"
Hotellet er utvendig fint og ligger sentralt i London. Vi var der for 5 1/2 år siden. Siden den gang har standarden på rommene gått ned. Det er særlig vedlikehold av rommene som er for dårlig, med mye støv i krokene og badet trenger oppussing. Ellers er oppholdsrommene pene og helt OK. Frukosten - kontinental - er upåklagelig.

Hotellet ligger i en idyllisk del av London, kort vei fra flyplassen. Det ligger sentralt i forhold til bane, men beregn god tid når du reiser inn til sentrum. Grei hotell med god beliggenhet ved Earls Court undergrunn i en stille sidegate. Stort rom med bad , rent og ordentlig. Resepsjon var ikke veldig behjelpelig med buss tider osv. Anbefales som overnatting i denne prisklassen.

Helt ok hotell, store rom og badet var greit. Gammelt og slitt og vi måtte gå gjennom frokostsalen (som luktet lite fristende) samt gjennom syv branndører før vi fant fram til rommet i kjelleren. Greie rom, helt ok for å kun overnatte, og rett ved Earls court station. Du får det du betaler for, rimelig hotell.

Ett bra lite hotell. Sentral beliggenhet i ett strøk som føles meget trygt. M and S og Boots rett over gaten, Subway og flere andre spisesteder rett rundt hjørnet. To minutter fra undergrundsbanen. Personalet på hotellet er meget behjelpelige og hyggelige, rommene er små, men greie nok. De blir rengjort daglig, og har rent sengetøy (noe som mangler […] på enkelte av de billige londonhotellene). Sengene er noe harde, men greie nok. Eneste problem var mangel på varmt vann i dusjen, måtte dusje i halvlunkent/kaldt vann. Kan ha vært ett problem den dagen, har bodd her før og hadde da ikke dette problemet. Ved utsjekking var det ei annen dame som klaget på det samme, resepsjonsten var da meget behjelpelig med å hjelpe henne til å bytte rom så snart som mulig og hun kunne få bruke en annen dusj midlertidig. This was a very comfortable hotel with really cool squeekie floors. From inside your room you hear no noise from the outside streets. Right across the street from the Earls Court tube station if you're flying in from Heathrow or a short walk to the shuttle bus if you need to fly in or out of Gatwick, though the bus ride is an hour. This is my 1st time visit London. And this hotel is very convenient from airport to hotel and to other tourist spots by Underground. Everythings is good and I definately will stay with this hotel on my future visits. I miss the comfy bed. The minor issue as there is no air-cond., i can't expect how to spend the Summer without a/c.

"Good location, friendly staff, free wifi but..."
Due to maintenance since December 2011 there's no heating in the room I was in apart from wall heaters - which are fine, but the bathroom had no such heating. The builders, who one day started at around 7.30 am and usually arrived before 8am, were extremely noisy. My room also seemed taller than it was wide and in great need of refurbishment, so I can […] see why building work was going on. But the work really should start after nine at least. However the bed was comfortable, and the free wi-fi was a plus. I've stayed in much worse hotels than this in London and once the maintenance is over I may look at this hotel again if I'm in the area. Les mer

good place as central location. even though the central heating was not working, the alternative heater was effective. Hotel will be much better once the current refurbishment is finished. very close to tube.

During my two night stay, I only had hot water in the morning hours. Front desk personnel said they would get the problem solved each day when I brought the problem to their attention. However, I never did have hot water other than the morning hours.

Description: The hotel is old and in that sense is very lovely. I enjoyed the appearance of the hotel on the outside as well as the main lobby. It is obvious that it is old Victorian housing converted into a make shift hotel. The Good: Location, Location, Location! It is the best location ever. If you haven't ever been to London then you need to know […] that none of the attractions are close together. This hotel is literally a 1 min walk from Earls Court tube station which is by far the best station I have seen. The district line will take you almost everywhere you need to go and if not can easily get you to a station to transfer. It is the last station in a series of stations that allows you to take any District Line train regardless of final destination to get back to your hotel. It is ideally located around tons of great restaurants, convenience stores and other things that just make your life much easier to have within short walking distance. Aside from location the beds are comfy and mattresses clean (I always do a 10 point mattress inspection where ever I stay). They supply you with a working heater however I didnt notice any air conditioner perhaps they will in the summer? The Bad: Creeky floorboards, it sounds superficial and it actually is but I cant stress how annoying they are. I after awhile found it funny while my girlfriend did not... In fact it utterly annoyed her. Super old rooms, the rooms while nice in an old fashion way could definitely use some updating especially the bathroom. We couldn't get the cold water to turn off in the sink. Summary: The only bad thing is that the rooms are not super nice but they are roomy and not cramped. The beds are comfy and at the end of the day in my opinion that's all that matters. If your in London you really shouldn't be in your room all day and if you are then your wasting your London visit. This was a plain but very comfortable hotel for the price in London. Very close to the underground. Stores and restaurants nearby. Room had a bathroom with tub shower and a tv.

"Excellent if on a budget"
The best about this hotel is the location. In a quiet area but 2 minutes walk to Earls Court underground and on many bus routes. Great places to eat nearby. The hotel was used as a base only so we didn't dwell on what the room was like. However it was clean, comfortable and cosy. The bathroom was large. Breakfasts were good whether you opted for English […] or Continental. You'll pay more for breakfast at the pub around the corner. We had no complaints so can't comment on staff responses/attitudes. "Overall, great hotel"
The only annoying part was that the phone in our room was not working and we desperately needed it to be in touch with our children while on vacation. The receptionists literally had to come upstairs and knock on our door every time our daughters called. The hotel is a real bargain for London. It was clean, quiet, and conveniently located about a block from the Tube. I recommend it highly for travelers who are more interested in seeing London than hanging out in a hotel. I hope to stay there again when I return to London next year (after the Olympics).

As you can see from my ratings, the ONLY good points about this hotel relate to its location (safe and convenient), along with its relative price, the free WiFi connection, and the adequate service of the personnel. The truly awful condition of the hotel is beyond words and pictures. If I could be a fly on the wall...or, rather, whatever pests they […] are trying to catch with the traps set under the back of the toilet, I could probably make an educated guess about what constitutes the filth on the bed cover and the carpet. The complaints of other reviewers regarding the creaking floors is NOT hyperbole...I'm the first to admire the quaintness of ancient buildings and the authenticity of wood floors and creaky doors; however, this creaking is more like the type that the Titanic must have made while breaking into bits and pieces. I swear that the carpet is the only thing holding people UP from falling through the floor. My guess is that there is significant dry-rot of the floors underneath the carpet...and the resulting gaps in the floors are quite scary. I tried to take pics of the carpet but luckily for them, the filth doesn't photograph AT ALL, which explains the lovely pics on the website that do not at all convey the true condition of the rooms. To their credit, the sheets on the bed were crisp and clean and the tub was clean...which is the only reason we didn't completely abandon the hotel in search of more sanitary conditions. Be aware that there is no A/C, but we are not complaining about that...many non-chain places in Europe are non A/C. Be careful of what electronics you plug in! IN the course of plugging in the adapter for our iphone to charge, the spark caused our charger to quit working. We are just glad our iphone wasn't attached at the time. Again, despite the awful conditions of the rooms/halls, the convenience of being mere steps from the Earl's Court station, at a very reasonable price, in a safe area is worth it if you don't plan to spend any time Les mer

We used three rooms during our stay a few days ago, and all left a bit to be desired. No shower gel/soap in any of the showers, dripping tap in one room, all rooms VERY hot (why have heated towel rails on during a heatwave???) though at least there were fans provided. Breakfast was poor for the price. On the positive side the staff are good, the rooms […] clean and the location very convenient for Earls Court tube station. I can't really recommend it, though if you're willing to put up with some discomfort for convenience then it'll be ok. Les mer

"Took us by surprise!"
We booked here because Earl's Court is a great central location for us to get to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports, and the room was a great rate at the time of purchase. We weren't expecting much, considering what we paid, and were pleasantly surprised! We were put on the basement level in room 101, and were shocked at the massive room and amount […] of light from the very tall windows when we opened the door! Though the decor is outdated, the tely was disproportionately small, and the mattress was slightly lumpy, we were very happy with the service and cleanliness. The large amounts of basic shops, banks, and many restaurants and pubs within walking distance is an added bonus. We will definitely stay here in the future when location and price trump a bit of luxury! Though the hotel itself has a few steps leading into reception, Earl's Court is a handicapped-accessible station, so for those who want a budget hotel and may have some mobility challenges, this could be a good option (there is a lift in the hotel). Just be sure to exit towards Earl's Court Road, (not Warwick Road) when leaving the station. Also, there are no changes on the tube to get to Victoria Station (Gatwick Express), which is another plus when hauling about luggage. The walk to the hotel is approximately 5 minutes from the station (cross the street, turn right until you get to Blackbird pub, make a left, hotel is a few steps away). For those who like Thai food, we had a fabulous meal at Addie's Thai Restaurant & Bar, a short walk down ECR and on same side of street as hotel (if you have tender taste buds, ask for mild or no spice - we like spicy, and were quite pleased). No reservations, so we had to wait about 40 minutes...had a pint at the pub next door, also excellent service! Les mer

This is more like a 2 star hotel. The room was large, but no water pressure, broken fan, bathroom floor was dirty, 2 chairs- both broken. The whole place was just worn and outdated.

It's a VERY old hotel. Very run down and not that comfortable. It was a surprisingly big room for a single by London standards. The bed was actually a small double. I will say the location was great! Wouldn't give it the 3 star rating by American Standards, but I guess for London it would be 3 stars.
Its a pretty good hotel at this price range. I had a great room with tall ceilings but no A.C.. Its a bit like a rabbit warren inside, so I imagine the rooms come in all shapes and sizes
