The place was clean, the neighborhood was awesome, the people at the front desk were all extremely helpful :) it was definitely a bargain!

The hotel is within walking distance of Santa Clara University. The free city shuttle (No. 10) from San Jose airport stops right across the street from the hotel. The hotel also serves a copious continental breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 AM with cereal, fruit, oatmeal, and pastries. The breakfast was pleasant and helpful. The staff was very friendly. This is a motel and I was not expecting that. The rooms were clean, but very noisy. You can hear everything from the surrounding rooms as well as the nearby street. It was inexpensive for the area, but I should have paid more and been somewhere else.

FYI it's a $20 to the airport, worked well.

Everything was excellent about this hotel, except: the wireless internet was unsecured, and sure enough, my email was hacked and started sending out emails to all my contacts the very same day I left the hotel! I would still go there, but I wish the internet was secured...

the neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired, but the rooms and staff were very nice

The hotel was upgraded in term of furnishings, can tell from older moldings surrounding the doorways and heating unit. Towels not so plush. Overall great stay!

Convenient with good Italian restaurant close by. Not someplace you'd want to stay for an extened period of time. Little or no parking. Management lets big trucks that take up multiple spaces park in front of rooms.

When we arrived in late afternoon, the room had not been made up yet. The wall paper in the bathroom is peeling. The hotel is close to Santa Clara university which is convenient. But is next to a highway, so not much of a neighborhood. Checkout is 11am, when we asked for a checkout at noon, which most hotels agree to, we were denied. Hard to believe […] they can clean all those rooms within one hour, and particularly hard to believe when our room was not made up at 5pm. We might stay again for the price, but that may not be enough for us to stay there. Les mer

There were some ones hair all over the bed sheets on arrival. TOld the front desk about it and a guy possibly the Janitor brought fresh sheets to the room. Since he was not the maid service I put the clean sheets on myself. Would not stay here again.

the room was very modern & CLEAN. 6 outlets in the area with the bed and couch. 4 outlets around the sink. there is a phone in the bathroom. the hair dryer looks about 15 years old, still works though, but isn't very powerful, however, that's not really a big deal (bring your own if need a better one). bed was very comfortable and there were 5 very […] plush pillows on it. we checked the sheets at the base of the bed and it looked clean. I do have back problems and still was okay on this bed. the air conditioner worked great. it was fairly quiet. all air conditioners are going to make a little bit of sound. a microwave and a small refrigerator (big enough to fit 4 regular sized to-go boxes from a restaurant & a small bottle of coffee creamer). their wi-fi didn't work, so don't expect to get any computer work done unless you have a cell phone with internet access. they know they have a problem with their servers. you can always use the computer located right there in the lobby, which does work. the continental breakfast included bananas, apples, 2 kinds of cereal, coffee, apple juice, orange juice, toast, croissants & muffins (in the lobby). there was also a toaster. we were on the first floor and heard squeaking from the person walking around up above us. get a room on the second floor if you have trouble sleeping. I was fine because I had earplugs and I am a heavy sleeper. my husband however did not have ear plugs and he is a light sleeper so he had a little more difficulty than I did. rain dripping from a gutter close to our room. the neighborhood was fine and there were some really good restaurants close by (5-8 miles). we encountered 4 different staff members over our 3 day stay & all were pleasant & helpful, especially Anna. the blackout curtains worked perfectly. the flat screen tv was awesome. I will, without a doubt, be back for another stay!!! Les mer

I got in late so I was a bit annoyed when I discovered there was a blown fuse in my room so half the place was dark. Other than that it seemed like a nice hotel. The room was very clean.

The only question is whether I would stay here again. Definitely. The hotel is next to a fairly busy road...so if you cant sleep in any thing but total silence go elsewhere.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel, in both cases for over a week. We were delighted to find the staff to be as caring and professional as they had been in our first visit. They truly make you feel welcome. The room is very clean and the fridge/microwave come in very handy. The continental breakfast buffet is always fresh and yummy with […] caf/decaf coffee, OJ, AJ, tea, bagels, muffins, toasts, butter, jams, bananas, cereal and apples. The internet is free and fast. The hotel is very close to SJC, but on the other side of the terminal. There is no airplane noise since the runway goes perpendicular to the hotel's location. Occasionally you can hear Caltrain and on going traffic on El Camino but it's nothing to write home about. 101 and 880 are about 4 minutes by car so there's easy access to everywhere. For shopping, Valley Fair and Santana Row are a few miles away. All in all, highly recommended for those looking for a comfortable stay at affordable prices. Les mer

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I slept like a baby! I wish there were more channels on the TV, though. The breakfast was alright. The staff was friendly.

one day O.J tastes real REAL. like fresh orange. next day same bottle, but tasteless, more like diluted water. the rest food served are all nice. bagel too

Stayed at this hotel twice over a two-week period. Great accommodations for the price. New, clean carpet in the room, marble around the bathtub/shower, in-room coffee and free wireless internet connection. Friendly desk staff. Is only about 4 blocks from the edge of the SCU campus. I will definitely stay there next time I am in the area!

Standard roach motel but clean and practical for business travel. Bring a white noise generator of course.

Stayed here with my son. Felt safe. Slept well. Did not venture out alone at night but was fine for sleeping.

we were very plersed with our room. it was very clean and comfortable. the people were very helpful and nice. we would stay there again'

We enjoyed our stay in this Days Inn...Really nice rooms...Pleasant atmosphere..."QUIET"...Nice, friendly staff... Hotels.com....The place where you "UNDER" PAY....and they "OVER" deliver...
