"Nice place"

Really enjoyed Ocean City. Hotel is lacking amenties. Hotel is advertising food but none available. Bar was open but dining room closed. Will really think twice before we go back.
"NEVER AGAIN"
THIS WAS THE WORSE HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN. THE ROOMS WERE IN NEED OF UPDATING, THE RUG WAS SPOTTED, THE TOILET RAN ALL THE TIME, THE SHOWER DIDN'T RUN IT DRIZZLED, THE COCKROACHES PLAY IN THE BATHROOM, THE FURNITURE WAS BROKEN AND THE BEDS WERE WORN OUT, AND THE RESTAURANT WAS HORRIBLE IN SERVICE AND FOOD. i HAVE TRAVELED A LOT AND STAYED IN TWO […] STAR HOTELS, BUT THIS IS WORSE THAN ALL. "My Second stay at a nice place"
My only complaint occured saturday night. We were on the 7th floor and we heard the band on the 8th floor. Very loud, very unpleasant. Otherwise very accomodating staff and nice bright clean room.

"Nice hotel but ..."
Unfortunately, we were given a room on the 7th floor which just happened to be directly beneath the hotel nightclub on the 8th floor. The loud music kept us awake until 2am in the morning - not happy campers. The hotel was kind and refunded our entire room charge for our 1 night stay.
Absolutely horrible. They have a discotech on the top floor and they play excessively loud music until 2:00 am during weekdays. The banging and loudness shake the entire hotel and make it impossible to sleep. Hotel clerk said there is nothing she could do to stop it, and that it is legal according to O.C. law???
"reasonable for the money"
The Fenwick Inn is presently remodeling many of its rooms. Even so, when we needed a room change due to a noise issue, the staff was glad to oblige and offered us a change immediately. I would go back, but next time I would insist on a room not facing the ocean/street. The view was lovely, but the noise from the Coastal Highway was too loud and close. "Comfort, Cleanliness and Cute"
My say was nice. It would have been excellent but there was a band playing on the top floor on Saturday nite pass 12:30am. I was livid that management hadnt mentioned this at check in.
The hotel is not bad, however the indoor pool and hot tub were filthy. The front desk attendants didn't greet you nor were they friendly. Overall if your looking for a bed to sleep on this is your place, but if your looking for a nice place to stay keep looking!

Initially the room we were assigned to caused continous coughing due to ceiling mold. We were given another room which was much better however ,we had to recover from the first room. We did feel at ease with the second room.
"Worst Hotel Service"
Upon arriving the 1st thing was our remote didn't wrk so I called the front desk and they said to pick up a new one downstairs (we were already on the 7th floor). Then that night after gettintg in, My washrag had a brwon stain. The rag was white so clearly it wasd dirty but they gave it to us in our room. I called the front desk again and the attendant […] informed me there wasd only one handtowel and one wash cloth for the whole building left and that if I wante it I could come down and get it. By this time Im tired and undressed and she expects me to get re-dressed and come pick up this cloth. Next, I turned on the water for the sink only to reaize the hot water didn't work (had to use the tub faucet for everything). Also, we were on the 7th floor and under their bar/grill. We could here everything!!! I decided I had had enough We had already paid for two nights but honestly I was done with this place. THe second morning I called for an iron and the front desk informed me I could pick it up downstairs again! This hotel offered horrible customer service. If you stay here expect to travel to the front desk to fix any problems and an unresponsive staff that has no manager available on the weekends. Its not worth the money. . Just avoid Fennwick Inn unless its the last hotel available. There is more to say but not enough chrac. :) Les mer

"Great stay"
Nice all the way around
Mold in the bathroom. Pets in the hotel even though they weren't supposed to be. Desk clerk saw it, but ignored it. Halls smelled like smoke on a non-smoking floor. At check out, they tried to charge us twice. They forgot we booked on Hotels.com.
"The Fenwick Inn"
I just got back 4/6/2012 and I loved the hotel. For the price I felt it was a real steal. The indoor pool was clean as well as the hot tub. I can see where i may have been a little upset had I stayed on the floor where pets are allowed. My mother had to switch rooms because her carpet was filthy. But as for my room and my stay is was great!

I enjoyed my stay at Fenwick, looking forward to go there again. But I think the check in time should be considered 4 o clock is too late. Apart from check in time the hotel was great I liked the bar, restaurant, pool everything.

The staff at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. There was nobody there to help you with your baggage, therefore you had to get a cart yourself and manged somehow to get upstairs. The carpet , the couch and much more was filthy. We left our shoes on in the room, because .the carpet was black.and put towels on the couch to sit on. The towels […] where dirty too. The air conditioning was not working and the cold air flowing into the room, made a lot of noise. We wanted to use the pool area and there where a lot of children, that did not bother us, but kids 12 and younger where in the hot tub, without supervision and the water was dirty. "Worst stay ever!"
I stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 days and we had the worst time. The hotel itself was fair but when we got food from the restaurant upstairs on the top floor we had the worst food/service I have ever received. Was lied to, served cold flavorless food, talked down to and treated like crap by the very drunk employee who turned out to be the owner! […] VERY unprofessional. I asked for a refund and he refused and told me he is personally making my food when he was wasted!! Spent $45 on dinner that I returned and didn't get a refund and ended up going across the street to 711 and got much better food.... We complained to the desk and all they did was have us fill out a card... REALLY!! way to have customer service!! I called the General Manager, Greg, left a message and have not received a call back and now I'm here to review this crappy place!! Les mer
"Not at all what i expected!"
The Fenwick needs a serious update there picture is misleading as we went in our room and it looked nothing like the photo on their page. The room smelled of other animals which didn't mind so much since we had an animal but the ceiling was cracked and appeared to be falling down. There was a whole in the wall with a horrible patch job on it and the […] back of the bathroom door looked like a tiger had gotten a hold of it. Someone must of locked their pet in there. I will not be staying or recommending this place to anyone. I guess I just expected more for my money to stay a night in the offseason no less. Les mer
"The Fenwick in Ocean City Maryland."
Mostly, I was glad that I was able to take my dog and the price was right. The room was ok but outdated and run down. Much dust came out of the heating system. It was clean but had no internet as advertised. I guess "rooms with dogs" don't get the same attention as other rooms.

This is the fifth time I've stayed here. It is always a great value, the front desk are helpful and friendly, the pool is nice, and it's conveniently located. I did notice this time around that there looked like there had been a bit of a leak behind the wallpaper and there was a slightly stale smell to the room when we entered...assuming it had to do […] with the rain leak. Other than that it was a pleasant stay as usual. There is nothing fancy about fenwick inn, and if your expecting anything fancy it's not the place for you....but it definitely meets our needs for a couple that just needs a place to rest their heads at the end of a long vacation day! My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary night at the Fenwick Inn. We were completely satisfied! The check in was a breeze, the staff was friendly, the room was huge and so was the king size bed! We read reviews on hotels.com regarding Fenwick Inn and were skeptical. "Fenwick Inn - The Best Value & Place To Unwind"
I am on the road as a salesman and this hotel seems to be the best place to relax after a stessfull day. One can jump into the hot tub and swim in the spacious pool to take the edge off. The room has a spacious king bed; but has all the ammenedies to catch up on the internt with desk and chair and lighting to a couch to stretch out on and watch cable […] TV. Restaurants are still about to capture your favorite tastebuds. Maybe at the far end of OC, but still close enough to see all activities. Les mer

Hotel was great, friendly service and the pool & jacuzzi were an added treat.
"Good for pet get away"
To be honest the trip was about our pet. We never had her to the beach and with her age it was time to give her a vacation. This is a pet friendly hotel but We would not stay here if traveling without pets. There is minimal area to take pets to do their duty. Furniture in rooms was stained. Mattress was stained. I did not sleep under the comforter. […] Rugs were worn. Ceilings dirty. Coffee in lobby was good but Restraunt service was terrible. Aftrer waiting 20 minutes for breakfast order to be taken, we left and went across the street to Leo's. Sat down and had breakfast in front of us in 10 minutes. Also one other comment to pet owners. The hotel is pet friendly, do them the courtesy to clean up after your pets if they crap in the parking lot. If not, you are the reason that hotels do not take accept pets. One other comment to the hotel management. Just because people own pets, do not assume we live in filth. We expect the same cleanliness and comfort that we offer them in our own homes. Les mer

We arrived on 3/15 and went to our room after desk clerk had problems bringing up our reservation. There was no hairdryer in the room thank God we brought our own. The wireless internet service was not working in the room and when I called the desk they said they needed to reset the router. Surprise that didn't work. When next I called they gave me […] an IP Adress that still didnot get me online. The only place it worked was down in the coffee/vending area. I never did find the hotels internet site the 1 I got online with was a DD=WRT not the Fenwick Inn site I was told to log onto. Saturday there was a drunken party with glass bottles of beer going on in the pool area and even after complaints by myself and other guests nothing was done. I was never so glad to check out of a hotel before. My wife and I will never stay with you again.I have stayedc at other hotels and got the feeling the desk clerk was glad we left. I mean he didn't ask how was our stay thanks for staying with us or anything . All he did was take our name say everything is ok you can go. So I guess you don't need return guess You make your money off the drunken partiers. Les mer

Very convenient, expecially if you have a small animal. Our room was on the 2nd floor near an elevator, so it was easy access to take it outside. Coffee was ready and fresh every morning in the loby. The front desk was very helpful. The room had a small refrig and microwave. The only drawback is that you could not see the ocean from the room, but pleased […] with how clean it was overall. Les mer

"Fenwick Inn OC,Maryland- Hazardous to your health"
The rooms of this hotel are crawling with mold so much for my romantic getaway. After realizing our room was growing mold all over the walls behind the falling wallpaper we ask to be moved and explained how unhealthy it is and then to be not be taken seriously this is not a joke! Especially when you have COPD and dragging along a oxygen machine. Hoping […] things would get better in our new room only to be let down. Not only once again did we discover more mold. This time it would be hiding behind the head of the bed right where are heads were all night breathing mold. Then seeing the mold and fungus build up in the ac/heater unit was totally disgusting and unacceptable. The new restaurant way overpriced with very little food and not real good! The conditions of this hotel were very unacceptable and someone should call the better business bureau and maybe the city building inspector too! I love hotels.com but I got let down on this one and we have been sick since our stay(Sept. 2011). Better Be Healthy to stay here! Seriously fellow travelers I do not recommend this one. They even tried to get out of giving us our free t-shirt that was promise to us! Les mer

"Hotel fine--skyline bar BAD!"
The hotel was to be expected of any beach hotel. But I highly discourage anyone to go to the bar at the top floor. The service is terrible and this comes from many of the patrons, not just me. Loud music, and terrible service--NO SKYLINE BAR!
"Most horrible night of my life!"
First of all hotels.com needs to get rid of this hotel! They (Fenwick Inn) treat hotels.com customers as second class citizens! Hotel desk clerk during check-in was NOT friendly at all. No hello, smile, how the heck are you... NOTHING! The air conditioning unit made the room smell like a wet dog, the carpet was nasty, and I swear the bed made me itch […] all night! The ice machine was broke and there was no coffee maker in the room. We had nothing cold or hot to drink for the entire stay. Our room was on the 7th floor beneath the restaurant/bar. The sound of chairs and tables being moved, things being dropped on the floor, and LOUD music went on until 3am. When we called to complain we were told that we were suppose to be warned at check-in that the room was beneath the bar... we were not warned! Was this the last room available in the entire hotel??? Are these the rooms they save for hotels.com customers??? The conversation ended with us being told, in a very rude manner, that we would have to wait and speak to the manager who would be in at 8am! Needless to say we got NO rest at all at this hotel! Never again would I ever stay at the Fenwick Inn. I would sleep in my car first! This was the most horrible night of my life! Les mer
