Grei belighenhet på hotellet i utkanten av Ann Arbor, når en kommer kjørende fra Detroit. Et lite "food court" ligger like i nærheten, hvor det er ulike restauranter. Ellers er rommene utstyrt med kjøkken, og er veldig bra om en vil bo der over en lengre tid og ønske å ha denne muligheten. Det er ikke langt til shoppinsenteret Brairwood mall (5-10 min å gå). Fikk mye for pengene - det eneste negative var at jeg følte rommet luktet gammel røyk - men det var ikke røke rom. Utstyret i rommet var ok, men alle rom er i ferd med å gjennomgå renovering (oppslag med bilder i lobbby), så det er sikkert enda bedre utstyr å se frem til.

Et rimrlig hotell, og langt bedre enn prisen skulle tilsi. Innendørs svømmebaseng åpent fra kl 7 om morgenen til kl 11 om kvelden. Svært populært for familier med små og større barn. Fri internet med printer. Hyggelig og hjelsom betjening.

Friendly staff, big and (almost) clean room. Noisy, but very effective aircon. Stayed only one night on my way to Chicago, would have searched for something else if staying in Detroit for more nights, but the Econo Lodge was just alright.

Hotellet har beliggenhet i en ærverdig gammel bygning og ligger sentralt i Detroit. Det er nylig pusset opp og renovert og kan vise ti len meget høy stanadar. Både fellesrom og hotellrom var meget god vedlikeholdt og av meget høy standard. Service på hotellet var godt over forventet og av meget god klasse. Dette hotellet anbefales klart for reisende - både på ferie på og på forretningsreiser.

"Hotel switched my room type"
The hotel was great, once our catastrophe was resolved. The hotel changed our room type from 2 doubles to a king. With a family of 4, that was not going to work. Luckily, someone came in and cancelled a room while I was trying to find another one. Not sure I would take the chance of staying here again.

I frequently travel on business and have equipment that i have to take with me. For security purposes and company policy, i have to keep my equipment in my room and not leave it in my car overnight. It is very frustrating to arrive at an hotel and be told that the elevatror is not working. There were no available rooms downstairs so i had to haul my […] equipment up three flights of stairs along with my personal luggage. "good for short stays"
I was only here for a night. The bed was comfortable. The shower was decent. The room was pretty small, but that's great for a short stay. The hotel was pet friendly - my dog enjoyed her stay. There was a bit of bad smell near the elevator. The hotel is a bit tricky to get to for me. The roadways weren't cleared of snow so that I could easily see how […] to get to the hotel. Les mer

"Not very clean"
I chose this hotel because of favorable reviews but I was disappointed. The room first appeared to be acceptable but on closer look, it was not really clean. It had been dusted around the middle of the furniture and the edges of everything had lots of dust. I decided to clean the entire top of the counter in the dressing area and also cleaned behind […] the ice bucket. The white cloth I used was filthy. I know the blankets do not get washed between every guest but the one on my bed had long black hairs and had so many holes, stains and rips, I went down to the front desk and asked for a clean one. I was brought a clean, fairly nice one by a maid with a filthy smock on. The bed, pillows and furnishings were nice and the area and location is very good. The bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned very well. All things considered I can not recommend this hotel. Les mer
"Great hotel, service and price!"
I'm very particular about how clean a hotel is. La Quinta was clean and the service was wonderful. Great people at the front desk and the free breakfast was a plus. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping centers, the highway and the Canton Ikea. I would stay here again.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The check-in was super fast, which was appreciated as we arrived at 3 am after the UM/ND football game. The room was very clean and ample in size. The bed was clean and very comfortable. We do have a few suggestions though. Please consider adding the bowed shower curtain rods that so many hotels are using. Also, […] the pillows were quite small, though there were alot of them. I'd rather have a larger pillow and fewer of them. We will stay at this location again. Les mer

Comfortable bed, plenty room; plenty parking; serviceable (limited) free breakfast; good internet connection; nice LCD/HD TV Maid left used paper towls in room, drawer filled with plastic bags, took away but did not replace towels; toilet ran all night (even after reported); strange odor (cleaning solution perhaps) in hall that permeated door and nearby […] area of room. Nice place, but very disappointed that we could'nt watch a tigers ballgame in their home town. Also the tv reception kept coming in and out. Fox sports Detroit isn't that expensive.

the hotel was just off freeway and it was quiet for street noise. Also it accamidated my truck and trailer not problem.It had hd tv with hd channel was cool.
"Convenient to highway"
We have stayed at this hotel twice now, and both visits have been great. The hotel is conveniently located to I275, and the personnel here are friendly and efficient. The breakfast has a great variety. Waffles are delicious. There are many restaurants, shopping centers, and gas stations located close to the hotel.

"La Quinta Canton"
The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel and my room was not very clean. I've stayed here a few times in the past but am not likely to revisit.

The Staff were all kind and friendly. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint I have is it is being billed as a smoke free hotel, but the hallways smelled like smoke.

"Nice Enough"
We were there for Thanksgiving Week. Nice Motel. Convenient location for our visit. Note that there are several nice restaurants nearby as well. Some in easy walking distance.
"It was sleepyville at first fall onto the bed!"
This was typical of mid level accomodations with just the right bed, pillows and no outside noise to interfere with my much needed sleep. Continental breakfast was typical with various choices and kept me happy till the lunch hour approached. Front desk staff at check-in were cordial and expedited my time there.

The hotel is very conveniently located and is very easy to find. The room was very clean-no smoke smell unlike some other hotels that I have stayed at in the past. Plenty of parking and close to restaurants etc. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is right off the highway with easy access. It is centrally located with plenty to do and see in the vicinity. Definitely worth the money, an enjoyable stay.

"Great place, Especially for the price"
We have stayed at several hotels in the area when visiting the University of Michigan and this is by far the best for a low budget stay. Surrounding area has everything you need!
"Great room for the money"
Spent two nights and my wife and I were both very satisfield. The room was clean, while not large but it was comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. If a future situation warrants a stay in that area I would be happy to stay there again. I will recommend it to any friends who will be staying in that area.
