"Smoking"
I have stay in a lot of hotels. There was one bad thing about this one. The cigarette smoked can be smelled from anywhere in the hotel. I think at this day and age all hotels should be smoke free. We almost went somewhere else because of it.

"Awefull Conditions"
First they had overbooked the kind of room I had reserved and so it wasn't available. Had to stay in a double beds rather than a king size. Then the room was on the 3rd floor and smelled so bad I thought it was a smoking room (the smoking rooms were on the 2nd floor). The carpet was stained, the shower was so stained (in red) that I couldn't get myself […] to use it, the bed sheet was stained (!). I felt this was worth than a cheap motel... Les mer

I was very satisfied with La Quinta Inn. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. It is a great place to stay if you need to be close to the airport and have an airport shuttle.
Very convenient location. A good hotel for the price. Breakfast was disappointing.

They were very friendly even though they had to work the Christmas Holiday. It was great service.

We enjoyed the breakfest, and had a very personable young woman drive the shuttle to the airport. Would stay again.
Good location, within walking distance of food and other items. Very close to the Rapid Transit, which takes you anywhere in Cleveland. Good service, very pleased.

Overall the stay was good except for a few problems the staff took care of when asked. First, and most important, the TV did not work. Apparently a cable was missing so another was needed to get the TV to work about two hours later. The room was also lacking towels, soap, and shampoo which was quickly remedied when brought to the staffs attention. Nice, clean and cheap place to stay. Staff is friendly. They give me a shuttle to the hospital and back for free. I would stay there again.

My room was adequate except that the bathroom was not as clean as I would have expected. There was hair on the floor, on the sink and in the shower, which made me wonder what else had been overlooked during the previous cleaning. Rather than change rooms, I cleaned it myself as I had already settled in and unpacked. was nice...jus needed a place to sleep...friendly staff even other guest...made breakfast time very pleasant.
"La Quinta in Cleveland"
The AC unit was not working or should I say working to much. The off button was not working. After calling the front desk to advise them of the situation they simply told me that the unit will turn off after a while. Well after a couple of hours I had to unplug the unit from the wall.
Too far away from downtown. Too few restaurants

"Functional one night stay"
My wife and I were looking for a hotel that would be comfortable and basically functional for one night only. This hotel accomplished that. The room was fine, it was quiet and comfortable and we slept great. Found the hotel staff helpful and friendly. The inexcusable part of the hotel is basically no internet capabilities of any sort. They merely explained […] they were getting it soon. What's to having internet capabilities of some sort for guests? Additionally it would be nice if they tryed to freshen the smells in the hallways, particualrly the main entrance. For a non-smoker it really hits you when you first walk into the hotel particularly. Seems maybe these were areas where people chose to smoke at some point in time and management has basically not done much about it. Again absolutely no complaints on actual hotel room. We would recommend to others for a one nighter. Les mer

We requested a non-smoking room. They gave us a smoking room. Heavy smoke smell in the room. Also the heat didn't work. The desk guy said, "It's summer. The heat is turned off. We only have air conditioning." So we slept in a cold room.
"Good for the price"
A completely acceptable hotel. Don't expect outstanding amenities. Just a good clean room with helpful staff, for very little money. A good value.

"Great BEds SO SO facilities"
The beds were great, after I got in. Key would not open door 3 times. Gave me another room that someone was in. Then the last room worked, finally. But had to have key reset-up for 2nd night. Other than that room was good.

"inexpensive, clean, not luxury"
didn't have little bottles of lotion, and location is functional, not a resort area. But clean , no odors, comfortable beds,was all i needed, and i got it , and inexpensively .
"Convenient"
The shower curtain in the room needed to be changed. It had mold spots on it. Knobs on the AC were broken so it couldn't be adjusted. Luckily it was broken at a good setting. Other than that, the room was comfortable and appeared to be clean.
"Quiet comfortable for the money"
Location is not great but hotel is clean, safe and comfortable with decent service.
The hotel was good but for one incident the hotel staff disappointed us. We stayed for 2 nights after completion completion of 1 night the hotel trashed the items that were in the room. We had to really make an effort to convince the staff to get the items back from trash.
"Decent place for the price"
We chose this hotel based on the location to the airport -- and thank goodness! We were supposed to land in Cleveland at about 5:30 in the evening but didn't get in till after 10, so being close to the airport was a godsend. A short little drive, easy to find and we were there. The check-in process was easy and we were off to the elevators and a clean, […] neat, quiet, well-appointed room with a comfortable bed, and everything one might need for a quiet night's stay. Check-out the following morning was equally uncomplicated and we were on the road again. One one gripe was the fact that during the check-in process, the clerk was talking to a customer on the phone, and put that person on hold so he could answer a call on his cell....kind of unprofessional, actually. But another clerk was quick to pick up the slack and after that, things went quite smoothly. If you need a quiet place to crash that's close to the airport, I'd recommend giving this place a try. "cheap, clean near the airport"
