The service was ok. Asked for sercurity one time because someone knocked on my window in the middle of night. Was taken care of.

This hotel is in a good location on eastern blvd.. Don't have to go far to find a place to shop or to eat. You have a good view of everything and it wasn't hard to find the location. I love this place must go back...
The rooms were dirty and it had a very bad smell to it i had to let up the windows.
"Resonable price - some hotel maintainence problems"
I checked into Rm. 113. Power did not work in the wall sockets/ TV didn't work and the bulb over the desk was either burnt out or power was shut off. There were also small black ants all over the counter. Got moved to Rm. 115 - smelled really bad, ants again and the office chair was rather stained and filthy looking. There was no phone in the room. Normally […] I am not a complainer and I didn't complain to anyone - this is constructive criticism and maybe the next guest will have a better stay. Les mer

"Yuuuck!! Nasty hotel"
Right when I walked in to the room I had a nature call, went to the bathroom and the toilet had fresh yellow marks, probably from the cleaning guy, cleaned it then sat down then saw the fridge and it had stains of ketchup or something like that, ugh, this was it but still disgusting, shows how good their cleaning crew are.

"hotel in Montgomery"
When we arrived the staff was friendly. But entering the room. The kitchen sink dripped, the bed sheets did not fit, the television was extremely small and dark and could not adjust. The person next door stayed up all night and kept us up. It was horrible and never again will I stay there.
You get what you pay for..It is cheap..This is because the bed is old,the sheets are not soft..The pillows not comfortable..The t.v is small and the remote did not work for the voulme....It is good for one night stay not much more...

Was there on business and it worked out very well for my needs, super friendly staff, going back in 2 weeks & have HIGHLY recommended it to others that will down there with me in 2 weeks from now.

"Satisfactory"
Everything was as it should be for the price. I only gave a 4 for quality because it's not a 5 star hotel. But for the cost the room was wonderful. There was a fridge and an elevator so the only downside was paying for internet, but I think we still came out ahead.

"Not bad for an inexpensive price"
The rate we got using hotels.com was good bang for the buck. It was close to the event we attended.

"COULD BE SHOCKING"
Found clothing items (intimate apparel) in the room presumably left from the previous traveler. Also the laundry room detergent vending machine took my money. However on both these the front desk staff responded quickly and set things right.

I had a very nice room clean and neat right on the first floor.
"Terrible Hotel Needs Improvement"
Requested and paid for a non smoking king size bed. Arrived about 11:30pm, office was closed and no instruction of what to do. Searched the premises and finally found a person working. Assigned a room and immediately after opening the door was overcome by the horrendous odor of smoke. Call the desk and he verifed that I had requested a non smoking room […] and king bed. Informed him the room was a smoking room and appeared to be a full size bed. He stated he didn't have a non smoking room available but, had a king size smoking room. Informed him that I didn't smoke and the room smelled horrible so I didn't need another smoking room. He informed me to take it up with the manager in the morning. Left because, the room was unbearable went to a another hotel and stayed with some other family members who was bringing a child back to school. The next morning I called the front desk I was told a manager would call me back in a hour and no one ever called me back to this day. I called back and told the person answeing the phone that I had requested and paid for a non smoking king room and was given a smoking full sized room. I was informed that there was no available non smoking king king rooms because, some of the customers had stayed on. I told her I understood but, my room was paid for in advance and I have had to stay over in hotels before but, sometimes my request has to be changed because, of previous reservations. I received no response. The mattress in the room was very hard worst than the mattress in my child's dorm. I observed also loitering on the parking lot and the sidewalk. I tried to cancel the other two days on my reservation but, was told I could not cancel even though my reservation request was never made. I asked why are you asked to select the type of room you want and smoking or non smoking when it is not taken into consideration. So I told them I felt like it was the luck of the draw on what you get. When I checked out the manager asked how was your stay I Les mer

Not a bad place to stay. Very good location to many things. The rooms are as advertized. The staff was incredibly friendly.

"comforatable but basic (and a great deal for my needs)"
I was able to spend $40 on food for the week instead of $40 a day for food with my kitchen area. Grocery stores are close by. The hotel is close to the freeway (I-85) and mall shopping is close by. Also, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival is about 1.5 miles away. Tickets for preview shows are about 1/2 price. The area of the hotel is harder to walk in […] because you are on a busy street but is "doable". I had requested a non-smoking room and someone smoked in the room before me however I was able to switch. Sheets are not changed daily nor is any room clean up without another fee. This hotel is not for the "elegant" traveler but was comfortable and half the cost of others in the area. Downtown was about 15 minutes away (12 miles). Les mer

"High Maintance"
I enjoyed my room and how friendly the hotel personal was. One of their maintance man(Mr. Miles) saw me walking to my room and ask was everything working good in my room,and advised me if there's any problems just call the frontdesk and he'll take care of it right away. And this was during the 4th of juy weekend. I bring my laptop to view other channels […] to watch with the hotel's internet service. My stay was pretty enjoyable. Les mer
"The price of a hotel on that side of town is outstanding"
The only bad thing I can say, is( need more cable channels).Every thing else was very good.
