Bra hotell med god frokost i amerikansk målestokk. Hotellet ligger ikke langt fra forskjellige fasiliteter, men disse fasilitetene passer nok best for folk med småbarn. Dette gjenspeilte seg også i folkene som bodde der. Veldig hyggelig personale.

Litt slitt men helt greit med tanke pa pri/beliggenhet for oss. Vil komme tilbake ved samme arrangemang senere. Ok for overnatting.

"Great Location, Great Price, Very Clean"
We stayed at the Ayres Inn the week of March 18, 2012. The location is great...minutes from old town Orange, the Block Mall, Disneyland, Downtown Disney, Angel Stadium, and freeways. The staff overall are very inviting and attentive. I am a bit of a jermaphobe when it comes to hotel rooms, but I give this hotel 5 stars. The cleaning staff do an excellent […] job. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable. The closet is a little small and their is no safe. The buffet was good for breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, cereals, breads, juices, coffee, fruit), however, I wish they would switch it up from day to day as it became old after staying there 1 week. From the outside of this hotel, you get a little worried as it has the look of a hotel built 30 years ago. However, you can tell they remodeled recently and they did a good job at that. So do not be worried by outside appearance. Located adjacent to Starbucks, Wendy's, and Best Buy. The rooms are sometimes noisy so if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Most of the noise is from school groups. But the staff did a good job in shutting the noise down after 10pm when the pool closed. But the walls are thin. The hotel is across the street from a hospital so you will hear an occasional sirens from an ambulance nightly and in the mornings. If you need the quiet, as for a room on the top floor at the end of the hallway. The hotel recently discontinued their own shuttle bus service which I believe was a poor choice on their part. We booked the hotel months in advance and this was a major draw to us as the shuttle was advertised on most 3rd party sites. They took it off their main website, however they should have mentioned in BOLD that they did cancel this service. There is the Anaheim Resort Shuttle ($4/person) which stops at the hotel which was great in the morning as it comes in 20 minute intervals and only 10 minute trip to Disneyland. "YOU HEAR EVERYTHING AND CANT SLEEP"
I heard loud bangs and booms until 2 AM. I couldn't figure out what is was until the morning when I heard people opening their doors. The sounds were other guests entering and exiting their rooms. Kept me up all night. The freeway noise is also loud and you will hear large trucks all night long. The shower hardly has any pressure and the toilet takes […] forever to flush. This is a very nice hotel for the money. The service was great. The room was fine. The pool area was fine. The free breakfast was nice. My only complaint is the fitness room. It's really not hardly anything. Two cardio machines and a few dumbells really don't constitute a workout for someone that exercises regularly. Overall it was a fine experience […] for our group. The description said that the cafe serves breakfast and dinner. In fact, it is breakfast only. It probably has to do with the numerous restaurants in the immediate vacinity and I get that. Good hotel. A lot cheaper than the one across the street. Do not ask the staff to call a taxi for you. Ask for a taxi company name unless you want the idiot behind the desk to call his idiot friend, a woman who drives her own car and went to the wrong hotel and made me late for the airport.

"Close to Disney, Great rooms!"
The bed was comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean. We were super close to Disneyland, movie theaters, grocery stores, Starbucks, and Target. If you're looking for a nice place for a reasonable place, look no further. The shuttle to Disneyland is free and parking is free at the hotel, too. Kids cost extra, though. "Not bad but not great"
started my visit with hair all over the shower curtain. their response was not impressive it was "oh really!" breakfast was blah. nothing great or even to want to eat it twice. the lobby looks nice the rooms are obviously old with touch ups to make it look new. i will look for a better stay next time but if the price is right i would stay again

My husband & I stayed at this hotel as we were in town for an event. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked for a cab. They called and had a town car waiting for us. We were pleasantly surprised and arrived at our even in style. The room was spacious and clean. The bed & pillows were so comfortable. The only drawback was the room was […] so cold during the night. This Inn is wonderful - the rooms are a bit snug, but the beds are comfortable and firm. The breakfast provided for guests offers a variety of selections from hot bacon, eggs, and pancakes to cold fruit, cereal and muffins.

A little pricey for the location but very nice. The front desk clerk who helped us was wonderful but it was weird the other front desk clerk peered over his shoulder nearly the entire time he was checking us in. I couldn't figure out if he was just bored and nosey or if he was checking our guy's work. Liked the room but a bit disappointed over the hyped […] toiletries. "What's to say?"
Staff is friendly, premises are clean and in good repair. Atmosphere is quiet and cozy. The fire in the lobby fireplace is homey. An excellent place to stay. Anyone who would not be comfortable here will have a predisposition to be grumpy.
It was fine but felt like an old Holiday Inn that the lobby had been remodeled. More updating and painting would have helped but there was nothing really "wrong" with the property.

We were very pleasantly surprised that this hotel far exceeded its rating. We usually book at least 4 star but took a chance on the lower rating this time because of the wide price difference and the fact that we were staying just one night to go to Disneyland before our cruise. "Not at all what we had expected"
The hotel was far from Disneyland, not walking distance at all. The shuttles were at odd hours, so we didn't even use it, they also required reservations. The breakfast buffet was only offered between the hours of 6-9AM, not good if one would like to sleep in a little, it is a vacation after all. There was not enough sitting room, not enough variety […] offered, and you were made to feel rushed so that others could use the table, you were not allowed to take your food outside the dining room, so as expected, it was very crowded. The sheets were stained, the beds were uncomfortable, no room safe, the only computer was in the lobby, in the path of traffic, need I go on. We used this hotel as one of our reward nights. It was just fine. too close to freeway for leisure but a good stopping over point. Older but maintained building. Large rooms well appointed. too old, nowhere near the ouality of the other ayres we've stayed at. Large cracks all over bathroom walls, some with black mold in them. There were several towel/rags on corridor floors entire stay, holes in carpet would have looked better and not been a trip hazard. Very outdated tv and very few channels, most with static. The room was fantastic! Ooohs and aaahs filled the room as we noticed the attention to detail and incredible decor. The breakfasts were the best ever, however on one morning when they ran out of pancakes, no more were offered. I was surprised considering there was still a good half hour left for the meal time. "Close to Disneyland"
Check in = fine. Breakfast = fine. Room = fine. Only one problem...we didn't know that the shuttle from the hotel to Disneyland was limited to certain hours. We were able to work around that problem however. The hotel was clean, room was clean, breakfast was good. Right off freeway 5. 10 minutes to Disneyland! No other problems!

"Construction just starting"
As I checked in they were starting construction on the outside of the building. There was scaffolding surrounding the building so parking was tight - had to park way out back and it was during the biggest rainstorms! Otherwise the rooms was nice and they had a good breakfast.

Ayres Inn - Chapman and College, Orange/Anaheim (Last year we stayed at Yorba Linda Ayres.) Bathroom of room - the plug was not functional except to push it down with your hand and fish it out with your fingernail. Front door to hotel - lovely, with good action. However as a nice shiny brass frame. when I got there, it was really smudged and cruddy […] looking by the time I left. Portico, nice patch job but it would have shown some class if the patch had been conformed to the rest of the finish. Tile work around the front windows: style is beautiful, but, the pillars between the windows had badly applied grout which stands out like a sore thumb. Needless to say, I had too much time on my hands and could probably be criticized by staff too. And, we did not pay a bundle for the room. Ability to egress hotel parking lot to go into Orange without doing a parking lot loop past Starbucks or elsewhere absolutely impossible. However, we will be back, if you will have us. Les mer

This is a great hotel in terms of service, rooms and location. It's a little distant from Disneyland however, they provide shuttle service. The shuttle also hoes to the convention center. For the price, this place is very nice and would recommend it. My daughter, who was with me to visit a college wanted to return to the hotel again for a future Disneyland trip. "Close to the Block at Orange"
I had a reunion at the Block and this hotel was close by. The check in staff was nice, but messed up my room twice before finally getting me to the correct room. The room was nice and clean and the beds very comfortable. There was a full breakfast in the morning and it was decent. Upon checkout I asked the gal at the front desk for a receipt. She explained […] that I received one through hotels.com and was pretty rude about it. I didn't appreciate her attitude at all. It was not a good way for the hotel to send a guest off. "This is a GREAT place to stay!"
This was our first stay at Ayres Inn. IT WAS SO NICE!!! The room was clean and neat. I didn't even feel grossed out by the comforter like I usually do. The FREE breakfast included eggs, potatoes, pancakes, cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, toast, and fresh fruit. There is a free shuttle to D-land, but we didn't use it because it only leaves and picks […] up at certain times. Parking in the hotel lot is free. We didn't use the pool but it looked really nice. The bed was super hard, but at home I sleep on the most sinkiest bed ever so I'm not really a good judge of that. I would ABSOLUTELY stay at this hotel again and recommend it to anyone. Les mer
