Hotel staff was very friendly. Hotel room was spacious and clean. Great location just off Thames street with easy walking to a lot of spots.

Staff professional and friendly. Room suite, modern and comfortable. Great continental breakfast- fresh squeezed juice, fresh fruit and berries, oatmeal, other cereals, Greek yogurt and other varieties with fruit, toast, bagels, coffees, teas, cappuccino. The stay at the Mill Inn was nice. We had our 2 small dogs with us. They should clean the carpets . The maid was not too good. The room.was.small but okay. I am.surprised.it.is one.of the small luxurious hotels. Breakfast was okay.. they need to clean up the rooftop and.het some.new.cushions. location is great!!!

Good choice if you don't want to be down in the wharf area and still be within walking distance to it. The junior suite was fairly roomy but bathroom was tight. Nice continental breakfast served on the rooftop deck (weather permitting). Free parking! Ok, first time I stayed here..breakfast on rooftop..very nice...staff was super professional and polite. Very close to main area in newport. The only thing is the walls can be thin, you can hear your neighbors at times..beside that, this place was perfect

The staff were polite and the location great. Housekeeping did a decent job. Suite was on the first level...over-priced. Deck was in need of powerwashing...it's slippery when wet, whick it was as it rained alot. There was a single air-conditioner in the bedroom and it did not cool the entire suite.. Also, the lobby temperature was uncomfortable, as […] though there wasn't an airconditioner. The sofa was in need of repair. The microwave mentioned in the ad was located in the common area but the ad leads the guests to believe it is in the bedroom. This hotel says it has luxurious amenities but I was had pressed to feel good about the $400/night price tag. My room was dark and dingy and was in need of several holes patched, tables to be cleaned better, a bathroom refresh and a lot more table/counter space - there's no where to put anything. The closet had no light and no hooks and there wasn't […] a single place to put a suitcase, besides the bed, and I hate mussing up a nice bed with dirty luggage. I liked the idea of this hotel, but for the price tag, I expected to feel a little more luxurious. The service was that of a friend happy to have you over for a night and not a luxe hotel. We were generally sad to have not spent more money to stay in a place that fit the "lux amenities" bill more. Oh and the breakfast wasn't worth the view from the rooftop deck - toast, jam, oatmeal in a crock pot, etc. Les mer

Tight parking area, rooms are on the smallish side,nice breakfast - roof deck is really nice, thoughtfully assembled breakfast choices, nice evening turn down service

One of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. I could not believe it as the building looks quite modest from the outside. The room was like an apartment inside. Great decor with modernised bare brick look. It is convenient for restaurant and bars in a quiet historic area. Breakfast was attempted on the rooftop which looks great...unless it starts […] raining. If you get back late be prepared for the challenge of the tight underground car park with a steep rise out of it. Take it easy. Les mer

The room was very nice. However, we had no hot water for the entire stay. All night into the next day we were told the water was fixed. It wasn't until about 10:30 am the next day that the hot water started working. Management was very short with us as well. I will never stay here again.

Saw mill converted in several beautiful spacious rooms, this small boutique hotel has a perfect location, right in the middle of the historical part of Newport. The junior Suite displays a great decoration details. such as brick walls, high ceiling, apparent wood structure. It offers the comfort of a modern apartment for a value price. the room was perfect and the location coulden't be better. you can walk into town in 5 mins. parking was a little limited but that was expected. the cont. breakfast was done very well. we enjoyed our stay & can't wait to go back.

My boyfriend and I loved this place. Unfortunately, we were only in Newport for 1 day so we only stayed the night. Even though our stay was a short one we were both pleased. As soon as we arrived we found parking in the inn's lot. It was fairly easy for my car to maneuver the tight space of the garage but for cars lower to the ground it might pose for […] a challenge because the driveway is a bit steep. There is also only about 12 or so parking spots. We walked into the inn and was immediately helped by a friendly man at the front desk. He also gladly recommended seafood restaurants for us. We stayed in the junior suite and was surprised how much space we had. We had a separate living room from our bedroom. The whole room was very clean and neat. The inn is about only 2.5 blocks from the main street of shops and restaurants. Walking Mill street at night can be a bit scary if you are afraid of the dark. We had to use the light from our cell phones to light the sidewalks so we didn't fall into any dips in the walkway. The location is fabulous because everything is walking distance. Overall we would definitely stay here again if we come back to Newport to visit and would recommend this place for anyone. Les mer

ce boutique-hôtel est superbe, installé dans une ancienne usine réhabilitée, dans une petite rue tout près du port de Newport nous a beaucoup plu ; très bon petit déjeûner buffet, fruits frais, et ... du NESPRESSO !!! très rare aux USA, nous avons apprécié ; junior suite très confortable et jolie salle de bain, rien n'y manque, garage en sous-sol gratuit […] et pour finir personnel très sympathique Les mer
