På alle måter et bra hotell. Frokost og WI-FI inkl. trekker opp. Dårlig treningsrom.Ligger ved siden av et stort veisystem, og mye støy utenfor. Dog godt isolert og rolig på rommene. Bra service og hyggelig personale. Fri parkering i hotellets garasje rett ved.

"Cheaper than host hotel and less crowded"
I was in the area for some training. There were a block of rooms reserved for attendees at a nearby hotel but since this was for voluntary work, the cost of training was on my nickel. The Sleep Inn was half the cost of the host hotel. While there was no restaurant in the Sleep Inn, it was a short walk to a nearby Italian place and a 15 minute walk to […] a local shopping center with burgers, Asian, coffee shop, and grocery store. "We Slept Inn"
Good clean and quiet. Easy to get to right off of I-270 and Shady Grove Rd. Staff is courteous, rooms are clean and comfortable.

We had to stay overnight for an appointment in DC. This hotel is close to the highway, has all the basic amenities, good service and comfortable rooms. The rooms were small, but for the price, it was a good deal.

THis hotel was a suprise in that it was way better than other Sleep Inns that we have stayed at. The room was small but for one night it was very comfortable.

Fair rate. Few amenities. Beds could have been more comfy, they were cheap hotel standard. At least the staff was honest. I left my iphone in the room and they kept it for me til I could come back for it.

It was convienent location, and the pool was nice. front desk was very accomadating.
It's possible to stay at this suburban location, and go into the city via their shuttle to the Metro. The breakfast was very good;there was strong coffee,which was greatly appreciated. "Non-smoking non-existant"
I had reserved a single non-smoking room and this is what I was given. However, the moment I got off the elevator, I was assaulted by the smell of smoke. Smoking rooms were down one end of the floor; non-smoking down the other end. The smell persisted as I walked down the non-smoking corridor and even though my room was the second farthest from the […] smoking section, the smell was still present. In fact, even my room smelled of smoke (though not as strongly as the hall), as did the linens on the bed. It was late at night and I was exhausted (and realized that with this type of layout, any non-smoking room was likely to be the same), so I decided to put up with it for one night. Needless to say, it was not a good night's sleep and I woke up very early coughing from allergies. I would not go back there again and would hesitate to stay at any other Sleep Inn. "Never again"
Hotel is in need of upgrading. Room was dated and in need of a very good cleaning. The shower had black mold around the door frame and most of the caulking was pulled away, allowing water to leak out onto the floor. Internet service is pathetic. When navigating from one page to the next, it took in excess of several minutes for the page to load. At […] one point, it took over 15 minutes for a page to load. This made getting things done for my job, which relies upon internet usage, impossible. This was very embarrassing since I was there with numerous co-workers and this hotel was selected on my suggestion. Everyone complained about the slow service. Breakfast is nothing to brag about. The person working the late afternoon/evening shift didn't have a clue about the area or about how to get things done at the hotel. When I complained about the slow internet, he said that he was not having any problems with his computer. It wasn't until I took him to their "business center" and showed him how slow it was on their computer. He didn't have any idea of what to do. "Going downhill fast"
I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last 3 years and the condition is slipping. The wallpaper in the halls is peeling away and there are several areas that look like there is water damage. The rooms are dated and need to be upgraded. The carpeting is dirty, the bathrooms have mold around the showers and the beds are not very comfortable. […] There are 4 small pillows on the beds and you will need every one of them. The heater/air conditioner is controlled by a motion sensor that is mounted above the door. If you are not moving around, the system shuts off. The internet service is worse than dial-up. I had to reconnect numerous times. Thinking that it may have been a problem with the wireless settings on my laptop, I decided to use the ethernet cable that was provided. The only problem is that it was not long enough to reach my laptop. I would have had to turn the computer sideways on the desk and even then, the cord was too short. Since I was there on business and had work that needed to be submitted, I went to Best Buy and purchased a cable. This was a total waste of money. The internet service was just as slow as when I used the wireless. Also, the service resets itself several times each day. Of course, this happened at some of the most inopportune times. I called the front desk and asked about this, but they had no knowledge as to why their provider does this. Their only reply was to tell me that I should unplug the modem, wait for at least a minute and then plug it back in. This is the last time I am staying here. There are several other hotels in the area that I have stayed at before and it will be worth the extra $10 to $20 per night to stay at one of them. Les mer
"Good Experience"
Visited D.C. and stayed for the weekend. This place is about 20 miles north but has easy access to the metro. The price was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly. The room was not fancy but more than adequate. Nice to not have to drive into D.C. The shuttle to and from Shady Grove metro station was great! Overall - very good experience. Highly […] Recommend. "Don't let this hotel be your first consideration"
I have been staying at this hotel for the last 3 years. Over the last year or so, the quality has slipped. The cleaning staff does not pay attention to the do not disturb signs. The room was stuffy and it could have used a good cleaning. I had the same room that I had during my last stay and the same dead bug was in the plastic literature holder on […] the desk. The bathroom could use a good cleaning. The shower looked as if it was cleaned by spraying water on the walls. For a 1 or 2 night stay, it is OK. If I have to stay longer, I am going to stay elsewhere. Very poor channel selection on the TV. Forget about the internet. The service they have is horrible. While this hotel is not disgusting, I would definitely consider another before I stay here again. Les mer
"Somewhat Disappointing"
I stay at this hotel on a regular basis and have found it to be a good place to stay. However, this stay was disappointing. To start off, the toilet kept backing up and I had to have someone from maintenance come up several times. The TV had a large section of the screen that had a green band running though it. While this wasn't a major flaw, it did […] make for some interesting viewing. The internet connection has a lot to be desired. It was very slow and there were numerous times when there was no signal at all. I called the front desk about this and the only thing the said was that I should unhook the wireless modem, wait a minute or two and then plug it back in. I found this to be quite an annoyance, so I called the company that provides the service to the hotel. They were utterly worthless. The only thing they told me to do was sign in to their service again. Will I stay here again? Yes, I probably will. However, if things are like this on my next visit, I will seriously consider other hotels. Les mer

"No problems at all"
I've stayed at this hotel several times and I have never had a bad experience here. There are several places in the area to dine at, but none are within walking distance. Internet service could be better. The connection was very slow and I had to reconnect several times.

"Recommended, but with hesitation"
The hotel itself was good. The room was clean, location is good. However, if you absolutely must have a good internet connection, you will do better elsewhere. I travel extensively on business and the internet is a must for my job. The service at this location is horrible. On average, it reset itself every 5 to 10 minutes. This makes it very hard to […] take part in video conferences. Each time it reset, I had to go through the process of waiting for a connection, signing back on to their service and reconnecting with my conferences. While I have had this problem at a few other hotels, this hotel has had this problem every time I have stayed here. I am going to think twice about staying at this hotel again. Les mer

In general the Sleep Inn chain and its employees are extremely nice, but as I have found out with this chain there is always one exception to the rule. The Management staff on the mid day shift don't not care about thier clients and when a problem is presented they do not try to help. Very Basic Accomodations, nice continental breakfast, close to 270 and metro and lots of dining options. Could use new beds and updated covers, but you can't beat the price.
"OK Hotel"
The room was fine. No major complaints. Their wireless internet is worthless. The pillows also fell into the worthless category. During checkout, the person at the front desk pretty much ignored several people who wanted to leave. Instead, he chose to leave the counter and go into an outer office to accept a reservation. After waiting several minutes […] to check out, I finally put the key cards on the counter and walked out. This person should realize that the people checking out are just as important as the people who want to make a reservation. At the very least, he should have called for a co-worker to help him. "Great Room for the Money"
I didn't expect much from this hotel as a result of the rating but was surprised that it was a nice inexpensive hotel. The continental breakfast was very nice, well kept & balanced. "Get what you pay for"
in room TV is very small, channel selection is horrible. Pillows are pretty much useless, they give you 4 per bed, and you'll need them all for any kind of support.

Internet service was horrible. Room could have used a good cleaning. Shower door would not stay closed. TV had a poor selection of channels. Room temperature is monitored by a sensor over the door. If you don't move around, the air conditioner shuts off. I have stayed at better hotels for the same money.

"Hotel nice, desk staff not so nice"
The hotel itself was good. The rooms were clean and it was in a fairly decent location. The breakfast was the standard type found at just about every other hotel. If you need the internet, find another hotel, unless you dont mind losing the signal every 5 to 10 minutes. Even the ethernet wasn't working properly. I called down to the front desk 4 times […] to inquire about the lousy signal. Each time, they told me that is was my computer and not their service. I knew this to be untrue as I went to see a co-worker at another hotel and the internet there was fine. The impression the desk personnel gave me was that they just did not care. Even when I checked out, I complained about it and they really didnt care. I am not sure if I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Les mer
