"we could walk to the performing arts center"
.Great stay. Right beside the Center for performing Arts, the reason for our visit. Also several resturants very close, also within walking distance. Would certainly stay again.

The Sleep Inn was very comfortable and had an above average continental breakfast with more choices (waffle, bagels, toast, cereal, pastries, yogurt, cofee, juices) than other places have offered. the only complaint is that the in-room coffee maker leaked

Even though there is no elevator in the 2-story building -- I am, indeed, very happy and satisfied with the hospitality, kindness, and professionalism of the staff during our 2-night stay at Bryson City. This is a nice, clean place (although they're in the process of repainting the wall and replacing the carpet in the 2nd floor), great location and […] good breakfast. Great value, too! The bathroom and shower had NOT been cleaned. There was blood in the shower, it was not a good situation.

No bathtub in rooms, only shower. Also breakfast was to be over at 10AM, but it was almost 10AM before breakfast was put out, and waiting to feed hungry children is not the right thing to need to do. When asking to take food back to them as there was no elevator to the second floor, being told not to because of ants was annoying considering the room […] had a fefrigerator and one of the reasons for buying it was to save on eating out. "Clean, convenient, close to downtown Bryson City"
Despite some hick-ups at check-in, overall this was a good place to stay while visiting Bryson City for "A Day out with Thomas". I chose a handicapped acessible room with 2 queen beds, thinking there would be more room- but it was a tight squeeze for my family (2 adults and 1 child) and our portable crib and all our "stuff". Seemed like a good value […] for the other hotels, motels I saw in the surrounding area. Les mer
"great customer service"
The customer service was outstanding-the room clean and the breakfast was good.
The rooms are very clean and the beds so comfortable. We enjoy it very much. The staff was quite friendly. This is a great stay in the smokies. I would staty again. Bryson City is a wonderful place to vist.
"Tiny rooms."
Motel has found minimum area for a room and then knocked 20% off that. Shower smaller than a phone booth. Bathroom door was a pocket door that did not work well. Very cramped room. Breakfast area being enlarged. Breakfast definitely is "continental". Nothing really wrong, just nothing really right. Would rank it as ok.

"Great location to visit Smoky Mountains"
The hotel was exactly as expected. Breakfast is excellent and staff super friendly. I would definitely come back. Only downsides: breakfast room is tiny so often you have to eat your breakfast in the corridor, and it was freezing cold in the room because of the airco. I think this is a problem of NC in general, though.

"bryson city hotel"
The room was a little small. The contentinal breakfat was good. The pool was clean.

This hotel is on the edge of town with woodlands around it. it is a quiet location. Town is just down the road and has a lot to offer. we had two rooms and both were great. their are clean, comfortable and clean. The shower is very roomy. The pool was great for cooling off and talking with others. The lady that checked us in was cheerful, smiling and […] very helpful. She added to the stay. "Very Rude Sleep Inn"
I was booked a smoking room by mistake and when I arrived at the sleep inn they wanted to charge me twenty more dollars for a nonsmoking room. I tried to talk to them nicely about the situation but they would not work with me. It was eleven at night and I was tried and had my children with me. I would not be ripped off by this hotel and ended up staying […] at another place. All they had to do was be nice and work with me but they didnt and now I will never stay at a Sleep Inn again. Hubby and I both surprised by the Sleep Inn at Bryson City. The bed was extremely comfortable - in fact we stayed at the Biltmore in Asheville and the beds were nearly identical in comfort. Breakfast was good too, especially the waffles - again same waffle maker as the B. in A. I was really upset that this hotel didn't have a tub in the rooms. I wanted to relax.

We stayed here with two of our kids in preparation for a day of whitewater rafting. The hotel was relatively new, and in a good location.
