It was kind of simple for the price, but I would stay again.

Overall a nice hotel, was disappointed to learn after the fact that Free breakfast was in fact a "grab and go" - no making your own waffles, etc. Very skimpy fair, with empty baskets by 8am, one granola bar and some coffee left. Was surprised there were no ammendities in room like hair dryer or shampoo etc. Front desk did have a loaner tho. A nice hotel […] at a decent price, extra $25/night for pet was a bit high - Phoenix Inn only charges $15 - and was a much nicer hotel w/ large swim pool and hot tub - which were also lacking and a disappointment not to have. Room smelled bad, was filthy, carpet was stained & had multiple burn holes in a non smoking room. Shower was dirty, Microwave was dirty inside, & there was half a bottle of vodka in the frig. Very noisy with people fighting in the parking lot. & I'm pretty sure there was a herd of Elephants in the room above me.

I like this hotels very much. They don't clean the rooms every day or in 2 days and that I don't like that. Everything else was acceptable.

WIll return to this hotel. Beds were a little hard, and my tub was slow to drain. Great service tho....

I was disappointed. I asked for a quiet room, and was told the room at the end of the hall was quiet. However, there was constant traffic noise, including revving engines until midnight. I was told that children at the other end of the hallway were running all over, so that would not be a good end to transfer to, and there was nothing available in the […] center. I wonder why they couldn't have put the children in the rooms with noisy traffic so that guests who want quiet rooms could have them? I also wonder why the hotel staff was helpless to control the children, whose parents were obviously not capable of exercising discipline. Did the staff even make an attempt? Les mer

Very friendly, helpful clerks who knew the way to get places. Came with several health challenges, but with this kind of set up could manage to meet most of them comfortably. Pleasant about changes of plans, with a Memorial Service involved. Surprised to find a shopping center just across the street with old favorites from home, like Trader Joe's and […] Quizno's. Also liked the free local calls and calls confirming airline changes. Reasonable room charges helped too, as well as the kitchenette, which allowed for diet challenges. Les mer

Overall was a good hotel but the bed was horrible. way too firm and squeaked when you moved. They really should have shampoo in the room as well.

For the price I couldn't not stay here. We go to the Portland area quite often. I think my family and I will stay here more often. I went just by myself for this trip because of a concert close by. The room I had has a full size fridge, small built in stove (two burners), toaster, and dishes. They were doing some painting of the exterior, but everything […] was well marked and cautioned off. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was you had to pay extra to get on the internet, but it wasn't that much. I would recommend this to anyone!! Either for a one night stay or an extended stay! Very clean room. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Only about 10 minute drive to/from the Portland airport. The only slight downside was that you have to pay extra for Internet. But with the already low rate, it was still much cheaper all together than other nearby hotels.

Good Location-Hotel being re-painted at this time so parking is restricted. Must pay for Wi-Fi. Would recommend except the mattress was so hard/uncomfortabled and made so much noise that if you turned over it woke both of us. I would stay elsewhere until they buy new mattresses.

The extended stay in Vancouver is decent and has been for many years. I have stayed there on several occasions, and can state that this is much better than other options available. This property is doing many improvements and unfortunately they did not advise the guests of this. It is not worth the money to be woken up to someone outside your window […] grinding away on the outside of your room for 31/2 hours on a saturday morning. Parking severely restricted and apparently the workers are being housed in the hotel during construction. These workers need to be counciled on appropriate behavior and respect for patrons. As well as innappropriate behavior in the parkinglots after hours. Les mer

We found hair on the floor in the bathroom so what else did they not clean? The sheets blankets & towels all were old and thin and yellowed. It was a good price for what you get but could have been so much better! It was barely above "We'll keep the light on for you".

We were pleasantly surprise to discover that our hotel was nicely located, close to shopping and restaurant. Our room was spacious with a full kitchen. It was worth what we paid for and more. Thank you

The front desk stuff was very nice and helpful but since we did not stay there 7 days or more, we did not get any room service. I had to go to the front desk to ask for toiletries, towels, and a blow dryer. We asked for a non smoking room but the hallway smelled terrible from the smokers right outside the back door. The place is kept clean. The bed […] was very uncomfortable, the mattress was so hard and it looked like the matress and the box did not match. The dishes in the cover looked as if they have been bought at a garage sale, in other words, they looked very used! No, sorry, that was our first and last stay at Extended Stay America. Hopefully they save the better rooms for people who stayed for a long time. Les mer

My experience with ESA was absolutely fabulous. They not only meant my needs/expectations but actually exceeded them. They took the time to assist me with a problem that wasn't even within their job duties and as a result they saved my day. The staff was polite, helpful, and the room was very clean and well maintained. Check-in/out was a breeze and […] painless. I was charged only and exactly what I was quoted (nothing more or less). The rate was very reasonable and I would like to book with them again during my summer travels. I am hoping this ESA chain will be running reasonable special rates for return business as I expect to travel up and down the I-90 line. The Vancouver, Washington ESA was one of my best hotel experiences. Since I travel as an Medical Officer with U.S. Public Health I end up seeing a lot of places in various conditions. This is why I give my full endorsement to ESA...I have traveled a great deal of my life and so I am aware of bad service, average, good and excellent. Liked the room, but the mattress was not very good, to hard, my shoulders and hips hurt throughout the night, didn't sleep well at all. My shoulders hurt for 2 more days from this. Why is it that hotels have only hard mattresses anyway?

I've done a decent amount of traveling and this was the most dirty hotel I've stayed at. There was still hair in the tub, dried urine on the toilet seat and toothpaste on the counters and sink. It was disgusting. I was scared to even get into the bed...

First of all the bed was harder than camping outside then the coffee pot had crustys all over it very dirty, then the bathroom was dirty, hair all over the floor, also never was vacuumed under the bed either, just overall very dirty place went home and had to shower again:(

Comfortable, no frills hotel with excellent staff. Door lock system is dated, much of the furnishings are old, as are the appliances. Lack of daily cleaning service saves money, but is a bit of a pain. There are no activities at the hotel; I would stay here but would not take the family. This was strictly business.
