Very friendly and accommodating staff. There wasn't much to the pool. So if you really enjoy the pool you might want to puck another hotel. But if you need a nice clean hotel with friendly staff then you'll be happy with this place.

Strange set-up. The bar, deli counter, and check-in are all the same counter. Management seems obssessed about pushing papers, keeping their head in the sand, and ignoring cleanliness. I walked by the small conference room by the managers office and noticed empty bottles and trash left behind throughout the whole day. One maid services an entire floor […] of 24 rooms! Obviously rooms can't get cleaned very well. You will be lucky to get your trash taken out. Don't get a room next to the elevator: very noisy! Otherwise rooms are very spacious and well laid out. Great location and free parking are big bonuses. Breakfast is fine and on par for lower tier hotel. My overall impression: if I were Hyatt upper management, I sell this place off to Days Inn. Overall the stay was well. Customer service experience was great as well as the continental breakfast . However a mini microwave in the room would have been more convenient than visiting the downstairs cafe every time. Blackout curtains is more preferable than the sheer ones in the room. And the air conditioning unit was quite loud at night, which slightly […] imposed our sleeping experience in the room. Housekeeping was done only once out of our three night stay. Its located at the central location and the hotel is well kept. Room was spacious with a good layout. I would recomment this hotel to anyone that wants to stay in Orlando

This is a small hotel. They have 24/7 room service, but they don't bring it up to you. It looks more like a delivery from a local restaurant, but the food is delicious! I think it's a little overpriced for a smaller hotel.

Very comfortable, good size rooms, excellent and friendly staff. Very convenient for the Convention Centre - 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive.

Check in and out was super easy. Wished that breakfast on Saturday could start earlier (they start at 7 am). Bedroom was spacious. Air conditioner in my room was blasting even on "low" lol. Stay was fine but did not like not having a place to park. The hotels should ban together and let all guests park. The threat of being towed is not comforting.

We love the Hyatt Place hotels, however this one was one of the more run down of all of the ones we have stayed at. skuffs on walls, wore out carpet, chairs with damage, bath that didn't drain. However, the staff was amazing and the room was spotless.

Very good hotel for the price ( thnx Hotels dot com) . Good hot breakfast everyday morning and 24x7 hot food facility within the hotel. The location is excellent ... Lots of places to eat and shop around. Overall a very good hotel.

i really enjoyed my stay. The only problem is there are no washing machines set up for extended stay guests. I was directed to visit Hilton next door to use their washer and dryer. Also I would recommend that they change the breakfast menu daily so that you don;t get bored of the same thing everyday. GREAT PARKING

We stayed here because of the location which was great for restaurants and shopping and not far from Sea World and about 30 minutes from Disney. Also it offered free parking which was a plus! Since we were travelling with small kids ( 1 and 5) we would've loved if the room had a microwave and a tub instead of a shower stall. Hotel is noisy, with the rooms and their furnishings showing signs of wear and tear. Included breakfast bar was terrible ... food was poor and insufficient in quantities, insufficient quantities of dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. as well. Hotel was ill-prepared for the number of guestrooms and guest. Also, tubs have been removed and replaced with […] walk-in showers ... this was OK with us, however it should have been noted. Sofas were only fair. Beds were good - pillows were fair. No microwave. Further, when booking our stay on Expedia and even though we noted were were traveling with a 15lb dog, there was NO MENTION of the $150 pet fee charge (more than most competitiors charge). The good ... great location, between International and Universal Drives, within walking disctance of many restaurants and activities. Plenty of parking. Heatd pool. Staff was pleasant and helpful, offering us free lunch (after presssing) as a comp for the poor breakfast situation. In summation, we travel to Orlando on business / pleasure every month for several days. This will be our last stay at Hyatt Place, Universal Drive. Les mer

The decor in the hotel was ancient. Could use some modern furniture. After attempting to get breakfast the 1st morning in the lobby ( nothing to my liking ) we ate breakfast out the rest of our stay. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a great location

The air coditioning unit in our room is need of repair. it sounded like a Diesel engine everytime it would come on. Other than that, everything was superb.

The hotel is within walking distance of several great restaurants and activities. It's also a short cab ride away from Universal Studios. The front desk staff is stellar. The daily breakfast is way better than your average hotel and a great way to start each day. The rooms are very spacious, especially with the living room and office area. No complaints […] here! Website indicated very close proximity to convention center. It's not really. Actual distance is over 1 mile. Also, hard to keep room at comfortable temperature and no provision for fresh air. Hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating.

I am really not sure why this hotel has such low ratings. The ONLY issue is the couch in the (very nice) room was a bit worn. I have found this at other Hyatt Places with the same couch and I think the material is one which wears quickly. Other than that, this is a terrific hotel and the breakfast is the best I have had except once. This is a long walk […] from the convention center, but right in the heart of the restaurant area. My 1 night stay was okay. We were only in the hotel at night so we do not know an overall experience. It was very confortable and overall very clean. Smell was nice and clean. I only have some things I did not like. At night when we were going to order some food from their "24/7" menue. They said they didnt have any food. It was very wierd. The system […] might have been down or something. but other then that it was great. I would recomend the hotel for a family stay, as there was plenty of space for comfort.
