All round good hotel. Not my style of decor at all, very wooden and seemed a little dated, but this may just be down to my taste. Staff were friendly as expected. Close to shops and restaurants/bars plus the wheel if you would like to get an overhead view of Manchester. Good breakfast. Went to manchester for a trip with the other half.Normally stop in another hotel nearby but unable to get in at the last minute. Arrived early and was able to check in. Car parked for us at no extra cost (£15), and was able to leave the car after check-out to do some more shopping. Rooms clean and beds very comfy!!!

Having had hotel recommended as close to MEN and 'Manchester Life' . Made very welcome by courteous staff, very clean rooms etc. Drink prices not too over the top. Excellent Parking facilities, Great Breakfast. - Highly Recommend. Also try neraby Gaucho restaurant - Fantastic

We asked for a higher floor quiet room when we booked but got a first floor room by the lift (hotel was full due to the Labour Party Conference) so it was noisy throughout the night and early in the morning. The room was cold, despite putting the heating on full and the bed sheets inadequate so we were also woken with the cold throughout the night. […] Apart from that, the service was great and the accommodation roomy and comfortable as usual. You can't knock the location though - superb, and there's parking ... although the lift to get back up to the hotel lobby takes forever! Les mer

The hotel itself was in a great place for all attractions. The check in was good and informative. The hotel itself for the price , i felt was old and shabby. Walking down the corrider to our room you could smell damp and there was circle patches on the ceiling. The room itself was a good size, but the furniture was old and tired . The bathroom was dated […] with tiles from the 70's. There was a tv but you couldnt watch it in bed as it was angled in the wrong direction. Breakfast was available but as normal it was cheap products or tinned. Why do they do that ?? I wouldnt recomend this hotel or stay there again. Les mer

Fantastic hotel. Close to the Arndale shopping centre, and the Manchester Eye. Room was amazing and the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel was very easy to find and was central to all of the main attractions in Manchester. We were staying at the hotel for a friend's wedding and we were so pleased that we chose to stay in the hotel where they were having their reception, being able to go up to your room and change without leaving the hotel and paying for taxis to return was ideal. […] Also at the end of a very long day of eating fantastic food and drinking fantastic wine it was a joy to simply pop in the lift and go straight to your room. The breakfast on both mornings was superb and offered a full range for you to choose from. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and treated us very well. My only concern was that the air conditioning in our room didn't seem to keep our room very cool and was a little noisy, not sure if this was a problem with just our room or if this is the same across all rooms in the hotel. I spent a long weekend at this hotel with a friend .We didnt eat in the hotel as there were plenty of good restaurants within a 5 min walk There were three lifts in the hotel, two of which were out of order for most of our stay.AS we were on 6th floor and I have walking difficultie this was a problem also one day when we returned at 6pm after leaving […] hotel at 9am the room had not been serviced . It was a little difficult to find but when I contacted the hotel they gave me perfect directions. It is wonderfuly situated for the centre of Manchester. China town a 10 min walk. The best shops directly across the road. It did cost us £14 to park in the hotel car park, for a 1 night stay which I felt was a little steep although the car was secure. Breakfast […] was not included, and at £17 for the full breakfast with everything we found a fab family run cafe serving until 2pm which was great Les mer

Located at the corner of Market and Deansgate, this hotel puts you smack in the middle of shopping, dining, and entertainment, all hallmarks of Manchester City Center. The room is unusually large for the UK, with a KING BED (very rare)! The bathroom was spacious, though not as pristine as you might expect from the Renaissance brand. Service was exceptional, […] including ice/towel delivery, turn-down, and a knowledgeable front-desk staff. I recommend booking with the quality breakfast option, as the Full English Breakfast is every bit as satisfying as any American hot buffet. This was a fantastic weekend hotel stay! Les mer

For a city centre hotel our room was a lot larger than expected with 2 double beds. The breakfast was lovely and the valet parking for £14 was a great hassle free way to get your car parked in the city. Staff were very helpful and friendly and I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay in the heart of the city centre.

From the outside the hotel doesnt look much but enter and everything is of a very good quality. Friendly reception staff and the room we stayed in was excellent and spacious. and it is so close to the Arndale Shopping centre and The Printworks etc. I would definitely book again

Nice big room and very comfortable king bed. Slept very well and room was quiet. We liked the larger room, but did not need it. One downside is that breakfast prices looked a bit expensive, but there are lots of places nearby to nip out for a coffee etc. If we're coming back to Manchester for gigs etc would stay there again!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants.

Lovely reception, staff very helpful, food was good. We stayed on the 1st floor in a suite, which was or had been a smoking room (which me and my partner are non smokers) the smell of smoke in the room made everything else smell and the room needed updating. It wasnt the cleanist of rooms I had stayed in, there was a stain on the bed spread.

From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, everything was excellent. The receptionist was extremely pleasant, room was very nice and breakfast next morning wa very good and the staff very friendly and efficient. The hotel is very well positioned for both the shops and the MEN arena. We would certainly stay here again when visiting […] Manchester and would recoomend it to our friends. Les mer

Hotel is perfectly placed for concerts at the MEN and is central enough to visit other areas of interest. Hotel was of a good standard throughout, only gripe is the parking arrangements which are not obvious when you approach the hotel. Suggest you use the parking immediately to the left of the hotel which is slightly more expensive than the hotels. […] Overall I would certainly recommend this hotel for concert goers as it is only a 5 minute walk to the MEN. A large modern hotel. Reception service not impressive. Room as expected, comfortable and well equipped. With 13 floors needs more lifts (one went out of action). service ok but staff don't go the extra mile. Good location off Deansgate (although they are digging it up at the moment!).

A top notch hotel, our rooms had a sofa coffee table and desk which weren't mentioned when booking. Very impressed, staff were efficient and polite. The position of the hotel is right in the centre easy to get to and great for a night out.

The hotel is nice overall, however, nothing really stood out from any other hotels such as Premier Inn and Travelodge. Our main unhappiness was at check in. We were advised that check in time was 3pm and arrived at 2:55pm to be told that they were extreemely busy, were not expecting as many guests and didnt have our room ready yet. Our visit was for […] the Oasis concert so I would have presumed that with such an event happening, and the fact that bookings are made in advance, they would have known how many guests would be arriving and had the relevant staff available. We eventually got our room at 4:30pm which delayed our plans for the day but thankfully didnt spoil our enjoyment of the concert. Les mer

First Impression was probably about 3star or less - walked inside - it was lovely - staff are friendly - room was nice and spacious - the bed was sooo comfortable - good nights sleep - only stayed one night due to a concert at M.E.N - 5 mins walk away - breakfast was really nice - would definatly stay again.

Prisvärt hotell. Ligger mitt i Manchester centrum med bra utbud av shopping och restauranger. Stora rum, fin frukostbuffé och bra hotellrestaurang om man önskar äta på hotellet. Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Bott på hotellet två gånger och kan/mycket troligt återvända.

Uitstekende ligging. Op 5 a 10 minuten wandelen van het shopping gedeelte van de stad. 15 a 20 minuten wandelen van Town Hall. Ideale uitvalsbasis om Manchester te verkennen en in een veiligere buurt waar ook veel taxi's passeren. Vanaf luchthaven wel een taxi nemen want het hotel ligt aan de noordkant van de stad dus de tegengestelde richting van waar […] de stations liggen. Kamer was netjes, klassiek ingericht. Het is geen designhotel maar gewoon degelijk. Je betaalt voor de ligging. Internettoegang is zoals in zowat elk hotel betalend. Op verkenning door Manchester ook andere hoetels tegengekomen waarmee ik dit hotel vergeleken had en toch tevreden dat ik voor het Rennaissance hotel gekozen had. Les mer

Det ända jag kan klaga på är att det inte finns någon toaborste det känns lite äckligt. Kanonläge nära till bra shopping och många pubar och ett gammalt tidningshus ( Printworks ) som numera är ett hus med mängder av resturanger och klubbar

Ich war rundum zufrieden!

Hotel a escasos metros de la catedral. Habitaciones hermosas y muy limpias. El desayuno muy bueno. Recomeindo el pub Oyster, justo al lado de la catedral , para la cerveza, y el restaurante Old Wellintong, junto al Oyster, para cenar. Buen precio y buena comida.

I can recommend this Hotel anytime, the service was excelent, and the room was very nice and big. Very close to city center.
