Bed was far too firm! Like a board! Staff very friendly! Breakfast buffet was very good! Rates were far too high yet not knowing the area wanted to stay where event was held? Travel a lot and we had 2 rooms and they were over priced!

This was the 4th hotel we stayed at along our trip and by far the nicest. Clean, Friendly staff, easy access. Could use help in the in-house dining area though, only one person doing the bartending, serving of food, and cashier, it was a long wait for service and it was only a Monday Night

The hotel was located close to resturants, football stadium and highway.

My only complaint was the pillows! This is all I have to say, I don't have anymore to say as it was a short stay and we didn't really spend any time in the hotel other than to sleep and shower.

The staff was extremely friendly, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. I'm just a bit unsure of why the rate was so high. Indeed, this was a nice hotel. However, I have stayed in even more deluxe rooms for less.

The breakfast was not complimentary and was quite expensive; I also had trouble connecting to the WiFi internet. It required me to lower the security on my computer which was not possible since I was using my work computer.

Very happy. The staff were all friendly and responsive. We called down for a cot and it was at our door within 2 minutes.

We stayed here when we brought our incoming freshman to move into her dorm at University of IL. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient to campus. Room was nice, breakfast was tasty. Very clean room. Only disappointment was the bed. I didn't find it comfortable, but maybe because I didn't adjust my side, although my husband […] did adjust his side and found it made little difference. It wasn't a showstopper, just could have been more comfortable. Otherwise, great hotel and great staff. Les mer

Very nice. The beds are not the worst but pretty hard. The bar is very hotel like, very few options. Didn't bother with the restaurant.

This is a very nice and clean hotel. Certainly not the Ritz but fine for the night. The gym was adequtate, breakfast ok, location was blah but the room and bed were fine. They served warm cookies in the PM and allowed me to print my airline boarding pass in the guest office. The staff was very nice and polite. The TV could have been bigger and since […] they had dish cable TV with a 1000 channels a channel guide in the room would have been nice. They did have free and fast internet connection with no need for a password. It just connected which was very nice. Les mer

Best place to stay in Champaigne unless you need a frothy bubble bath and honeymoon digs. But, great for business travel.

The front desk staff were very friendly when we arrived. Breakfast was very good with different assortment of breakfast items to choose from and well stocked. Very friendly staff. The pool was clean and outside area well kept. The rooms were clean and in good condition. We would stay here again.

I'm a student at U of I. My parents stayed in Hilton Garden Inn during their visit here. It was a nice experience regarding the room itself and service quality. But the hotel is a bit far from campus. We had to take MTD to get to the campus center. Not very convenient in this sense.

This hotel was really close to the U of I and near many restaurants.The beds were very comfortable. The free Wi-Fi was much appreciated.The front desk staff were very nice.If I was going to another U of I event I would stay here again.

The hotel was fine - the staff was very nice and the rooms were big and clean. The bed and pillows were rather uncomfortable, Overall I'd say it was a bit over- priced given that there was no breakfast buffet.

I was very surprised to see what a great hotel this is. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds were amazing! Everything was very clean. Lots of parking. And the hot breakfast in the morning was much better than at most other chain hotels.

This hotel is clean, well appointed, quiet and safe and I loved my room. The bed itself is remarkably comfortable. I enjoyed the central location off the interstate and about a mile from the university. I didn't need much in the way of amenities, but if I had, they were available. The hotel does not serve a free breakfast, but does have a nice grill/restaurant […] in the lobby area. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance as well. We were rather disappointed that there wasn't a shuttle to the assembly hall, but the desk clerk gave us his pass for parking. That was great & very much appreciated.

We stayed here even though I live locally, it was a weekend getaway. Hotel staff was very courteous, room was spotlessly clean, bed was SO comfortable and pool/spa was a welcome retreat. I would definitely stay again or recommend to anyone.

They allowed us to check in early. One block to University of Illinois campus:great location fo0r game day. Service and food tops. Friendly staff. By far the nicest accomodations in Champaign-Urbana.

Hilton Garden Inn Champaign/Urbana If you are in the area for business or pleasure, visiting family or the university this is a great place to hang your hat! Staff...very good, very patient with very the sometimes less than patient ILLINI fans. The desk was extremely helpful, courteous, and very "on" the entire time we were there. My wife and I were […] in town to see son and wife for the weekend and found the hotel very last minute. What a gem! Rooms were very clean, service staff prompt and the stay was perfect. Close to everything including campus we were a 10 minute car ride from shopping, the center of Campus, theaters. Our three day stay was great! My one lament was that their bar did not have a bar food menu. We were there for an afternoon libation and had to buy peanuts and M&Ms from the snack corner. Also with the huge game and a parent weekend at the university, the grill/restaurant was understaffed and wait time for food was long. Though it did not dampen our stay it was frustrating to host a dinner or breakfast. In the end we are already planning a trip for next year and The Hilton Garden Inn is the place we expect to be staying. Les mer
