"Very close to historic downtown and the Zoo"
Great location! Super nice staff. Upgraded my room to a courtyard room for 10 bucks! Well worth it. Check out historic downtown, great shopping and restaurants super close to the hotel. Great for families.

"quick get away"
My stay was nice. Clean rooms n lounge area. Small pool but perfect for children. Breakfast is good but meatless. The convenience of the hotel is one of it's greatest attraction. Minutes from downtown n seconds from zoo
"ALERT! Crying Children Cause Disrupted Sleep"
This hotel was conveniently located for us since it was very close to the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly upon check-in. The problem occurred about midnight. There were noisy children next door and above us. The noise was seeping into our room making it really difficult to sleep. […] I called the front desk, and the young lady said she would take care of it. I don't know if she did or not, but the noise stopped. Shortly after that, the baby next door started crying, and boy could it wail!! It would cry for 5 minutes or so, then stop. We would say, "Thank goodness." Then, five minutes later, it would start again. This went on for over an hour. I called the front desk again, and I told her that I knew she couldn't do anything about a crying baby, but asked if there was a different room we could move to. She brought keys up to us within ten minutes. So we were schlepping down the hall in our pajamas with our belongings at 1:30 AM. I'm sure we were an attractive sight. The new room was much quieter, and it, too, was very comfortable. I have no complaints about the hotel staff. They were very accommodating. My complaints are with the construction of the hotel. Apparently the walls are paper-thin. We could hear the footsteps and, as mentioned earlier, the wailing baby. I wish they had put more insulation between the rooms to make them quieter. The hotel is far enough off the interstate and 13th street that traffic noise was not an issue. Kudos to the staff. Raspberries to the designers of the hotel. Les mer
"Good location for the zoo"
The room was what I expected and the location was excellent for visiting the zoo. The only problem we had was low water pressure and a lack of hot water the second morning. The breakfast had more items than I expected.

If you are going to the Omaha Zoo, this hotel is definitely convenient. Rooms are a little small. Bathtub was extremely slick. Pool was TOO small to accomodate the guests. No Elevator! Breakfast was very good.

The hotel was very close to the zoo. The hallways and room had an oder to them, but we were able to open the window and air it out. We were on the 2nd floor. Overall it was ok.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean, easy to find, and very close to everything we wanted to do in Omaha. The staff was very helpful and very considerate of what we needed. The breakfast was good, and there was plenty-the hotel was very crowded while we were there, but the food never ran out. They were kid friendly as well. The pool is a […] little small and the beds are very firm-a little too firm for me. The neighborhood did not invite one to travel much beyond the hotel, but it is right on the freeway and within 2 minutes of the zoo, and that's we wanted. We would definitly stay again. Les mer
"decent hotel, good for a nice place to sleep"
Used this hotel as literally just a place to sleep and swim while we saw the zoo, a storm chasers game, and other local attractions. Nice free breakfast in the mornings, about 2 minutes from the zoo, close to downtown. Not in a super feel-good neighborhood, but it's located at the end of a dead-end street, so there's no busy traffic or strangers to […] worry about. Kinda small pool, but our twin 3-year olds didn't mind. Nothing fancy, just a nice quiet 2-story hotel with friendly staff that made our stay pleasant and comfortable. Les mer
"Comfort Inn at the zoo Omaha NE"
I thought the hotel was fine. Close to the zoo, but still a bit of a walk if planning on getting there that way. The pool is small I believe 4 1/2 feet at the deepest. The continental breakfast was good and a large area with many tables so it didn't get too crowded. Other hotel stayers were friendly.

"Omaha, NE"
Check-in was chaotic. Lobby full of people. Rooms not ready, poor communication from staff on why we were all waiting. Children running in between adults patiently waiting. Our room was on first floor and the room above us had children jumping continuously. Very noisy! Breakfast was like a feeding frenzy! Room was definitely not worth what we paid for […] it. Les mer

"WEEKEND AWAY WITH THE KIDS"
BREAKFAST WAS GREAT THE KIDS LOVE ALL THE CHOICES, REALLY FUN WATCHING THE KIDS SWIM IN THE KINDA SMALL SWIMMING POOL BUT THEY HAD A BLAST ROOM WAS KINDA HOT FOR BEING WINTER OUTSIDE BUT WAS GREAT .
"Plenty Comfy"
We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was good and kept stocked. Loved the single cup coffee machine in room. The mattress was nice and firm. Front desk recommended a great place for dinner that we enjoyed as well. A great overall experience!

Excellent access to I-80 and easy to find. Room was fairly clean, but there was water leaking from the window and ceiling near the window after a rainstorm. Walls were very thin. At times, I could hear every word my neighbor was saying. Breakfast was decent. Overall it was fine with the best part being close to the interstate.

At check in I initialed the agreement that we would not smoke in the room. When we arrived at our room we discovered we had a smoking room and could smell stale cigarette smoke. When my wife asked about another room she was told the hotel was full and there was nothing they could do. The picture of the pool is very deceptive. When we took our daughter […] swimming there were a total of 7 people in the pool and it was crowded. The hotel is near the Zoo and the stadium, but it really isn't an option to walk to either. Also, there isn't much in the area other than a gas station and McDonalds. When we make our next trip to Omaha we won't make the same mistake again. Les mer

"not worth it"
Wonderful people working there, but THE PILLOWS WERE HORRIBLE!!!! They had 16x16 throw pillows on the bed. Overall was clean, pool was very small and tub did not drain. Needs lost of updating. Would have been worth it to find a nicer hotel and do a little driving.

This hotel is within walking distance to the zoo. Very clean, Very comfortable, Breakfast was good, Hotel Staff was excellent, they printed off directions to places you wanted to go to, very helpful. The Omaha Royals are right across from the zoo and also within walking distance. McDonalds is right up the street as well as gas stations.
"Outstanding Hotel"
We stayed July 11-13. It was easy to find. I was close to the Zoo. The staff was fiendly. The breakfast was wonderful, eggs, cereal, toast, muffins, waffles,juice, and milk. The pool was small, but that is not why we stayed. The pool water was cold,but the kids didn't seem to mind. We will come back again. Thanks for everything!
