Familie på fire med to tenåringer sjekket inn i fullt skiutstyr rett fra skibakkene i Banff. Ingen hevet et øyenbryn. God og rask service hele veien, uten å være insisterende eller påtrengende - bare hyggelig kanadisk gjestfrihet. To av familiemedlemmene koste seg med den sagnomsuste søndags-brunchen, det ble sagt at det var verdt hver eneste stive dollar. Foreldrene hadde det trivelig i den hyggelige baren om kvelden, med bra meny (også for mat) og kunnskapsrik, vennlig betjening. Hotellets beliggenhet i forhold til det som muligens kan kalles shoppinggatene var utmerket - i samme område også mange muligheter for måltider. "Vegg-i-vegg" med hotellet er Calgary Tower, og besøket i restauranten der på en krystallklar dag med 360 graders utsikt ble veldig vellykket. Vi fikk ikke helt grep på byen - en relativt stor by uten "byfølelse" slik vi opplevde det. Imidlertid er Calgary en "viktig" by for å nå en rekke av de mest interessante skistedene i Alberta, og vi vil forsøke å benytte Fairmont Palliser også ved senere anledninger. Vi har også skjønt at Calgary kan være verdt et besøk under "The Stampede" og da vil dette hotellet ha en glimrende beliggenhet (hvis man er tidlig nok ute med bestillingen).

Brukte hotellet i 14 dager i forbindelse med løp på Olympic Oval. Hotellrommet var rent og ryddig når vi kom. Huggelig betjening tok i mot oss ved ankomst. Det var stille og roligt om nettene. Rommet ble sjekket opp hver dag.

The hotel is well located in downtown Calgary , nice and clean with big suites. We had the Executive Suites at lower level, a bit traffic noice from 4th Ave, but not more what could be expected in a city. Choose a room at higher level to avoid noice. Beds were good, bathroom OK (but not fantastic). Great parking facility, yes it is dusty, but you aren't supposed to live down there. Make sure you get the parking included in room price. Staff in reception were friendly. What could be improved is the breakfast served in the restaurant. Staff could be more friendly and service oriented, we had some quite different experiences. Overall a nice hotel at a reasonable price.

The stay in this hotel was great! Plenty of parking, hallways were quiet, hot breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. Could use harder/better pillows

We stayed two nights and enjoyed both. The pool was great, the room was clean and comfy. We will definately stay again. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. It was close to everything we needed it to be. We stayed in the basement rooms and they were large and bright and had a great layout with lots of room for the kids to play. The only […] thing that wasn't great was the fact that the road the hotel is on doesn't have sidewalks and its fairly busy. I ended up having to take a cab to the shopping centre because I didn't want to push a double stroller down a busy street. Les mer

This hotel was alright....it was clean enough and the breakfast was really good...had a great selection! Definately a money saver for families!! We had some issues the first night with a bunch of kids running up and down the halls and banging on doors....called the front desk and they did nothing about it. Finally said something to the kids ourselves! […] Don't think we should have to though! Front desk actually didn't answer our calls after the 2nd time we complained!! My husband didn't sleep at all the first night. Beds were comfy, but the pillows sucked! They were half size and really lumpy. Kids enjoyed the pool and waterslide though. We would stay here again, but would bring earplugs!! Les mer

This is a very nice place to stay. The location is great and easy to find. My only real concern and I don't use the word complaint is the bathroom could have used a REALLY good scrubbing.... like the corners of the toilet paper holder were FULL of dirt.. not dust, dirt. There was a ring where bathwater had been and it would likely have come off with […] scrubbing... taps on sink were gooey with scrum around the base... I have stayed here before and THAT room was spotless so not sure what has changed. Les mer

Parked our car there and got shuttle to airport. Shuttle was quick and easy. Way cheaper then airport parking.

Trying to focus on the positive experience, there was enough parking and our group was able to have adjoining rooms and the hotel does provide a shuttle service to the airport that is complimentary. They also offered a complimentary continental breakfast, but we decided that we would opt out after seeing the cleanliness of our room. The hallways are […] quite dark and dated. The elevator felt like a service elevator and the rooms were no better. There were several stains on the carpets and ceilings from leaks above. The corners of the wall paper were craked and in poor condition. The bathroom tile barely looked surface clean including the door which looked like it belonged in a mechanics garage. There was a lot of grime on the door where peoples hands would rub on the door to open it. We will never stay in this hotel again. Definitely worth spending a few more dollars to stay elsewhere. We were really pleased with everything offered at this hotel. We only used it for the one night in order to catch an early flight out and it served us perfectly. There was WIFI in the room, complimentary breakfast available (though we left before 6.30am and didn't get it) and there was a hot tub and pool with a great water slide. There are a number […] of fast food options within walking distance and the hotel runs a free shuttle bus to the airport to meet your flight. There is a large truck park right nearby but we didn't hear any noise from the trucks, so have no complaints at all about this hotel. Les mer

The hotel was fine and represented good value, but the clientele was unruly. Just as I was falling asleep, the occupants in the two rooms across the hall decided to to start whooping it up with their doors open. They kept it up for an hour, in spite of complaints. By then my composure was wrecked, and so was my night's sleep. BIS

i have stayed here before and this time the pricing was way out of line for the type of room i got. much too expensive for the quality and faniciness of the hotel. i doubt that i will be going back unless the prices are better. "shuttle service is not the best"
Hotel in general was o.k, the shuttle service to and from the airport wasn't great. Had to wait more than 45 minutes for a shuttle to show up at the airpot and directions to contact Comfort Inn were not completely correct.

The room smell soo weri also they need to up grade the rooms. The price of the room is too Much for a old room and the continental breakfast too pour run out of food all the time the lady doesn't check the food very often

The Comfort Inn staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite satisfactory. There were a number and variety of restaurants within walking distance. Considering, it is relatively close to the airport and the Barlow Trail, we found it quite quiet.

Was surprised and disappointed that there was no fridge in the room. The TV was an old tube tv. However, the air conditioning was great, the pool was great and the people working there were all wonderful. Location close to C-Train and the mall was good.

The minimal service I experience was good. I just came to sleep and arrived late. There was a call from the front desk to check on everything a few minutes after we got in our room which was nice. Overall it's a good place to stay for a night.
