Courtyard by Marriott Fresno - Fresno

This Courtyard by Marriott is oddly placed. While it is set way back from the street, it is close to the highway. The hotel was very busy the weekend we went and the only available room choices we had were one by the elevator and ice machine on the first floor or a room on the second floor which faced the highway, and we were told it was equally noisy. […] The lobby area is nicely appointed -- and quieter than our room. They offer a food service for the morning and for the evening, but nothing in between. There are snacks available otherwise. Les mer

My husband took me to stay at this hotel. It was a wonderful environment and very clean. It is a must! The only draw back is that you cannot see the place from the road.

Tub was filthy.Room was on freeway side, so noisy.

Just went up for an overnight stay for business and this place worked out great. Although a little difficult to find at first since it is not exactly on the main road, it met all my expectations- Very clean, new and modern, friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms and safe. I will definately stay here again on my next trip to Fresno.

The rooms are always really nice, clean and with a "home" feeling. The remodeled front desk and "restaurant" does not really fit the room atmosphere or feeling of "home". It is ultra modern with "eye piercing" colors. The restaurant, if you want to call it that, has very few choices for food. Adequate, nice lobby area and business center, Very pricey Starbucks in lobby. Very noisy with freeway traffic and guests coming and going all night.

Although the hotel's elevator did not work, the staff was able to quickly find us rooms on the first floor. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast add-on was worth the extra charge.

The new renovations are great. The hotel look wonderful.

The hotel was ok to stay in. The tiolet leaked but the room was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night as we passed through town.

I would petition the city for a street sign on the main street / difficult to locate upon arrival. The desk/check in clerk was an incredibly polite, pleasant young man who directed me around the area to a restaurant that was even better than he had proclaimed. Comfortable bed and updated linens. We enjoyed our stay for the one night very much. The room was very clean and the beds were very clean and made up neatly. It was nice to have some coffee there. Very well satisfied for the stay.

Ongoing construction not disclosed prior to reservation. Unable to get a rest during the day due to construction noise.

My room was suppose to be non smoking. When I opened the door I was overwhelmed by the smell of cig. smoke. It was terrible. When I asked the front desk about it - they said that all rooms were non smoking. I asked for houskeeping to come down and they did not have anyone on duty. The bed was not comfortable at all. We enjoyed the room, but the King bed we stayed on was really hard. Neither my husband nor I slept very good, the blanket was thin and we both tossed and turned. We are used to a pillowtop at home, so it just didn't cut it. Other then that the room was clean, nice and as promised.

I wish there was something that could be done with heater nose. With the advent of the all in one heater/ ac they are loud and can keep you up at night.

This Courtyard Marriott is located in a good area of town, has a very good breakfastt buffet and a great hotel for the money.

The room was nice, comfortable and clean, which is very important. All the rooms amenities were good...comfy bed, good flat screen TV, clean floors n furniture, clean bathroom n linen, good water pressure, good lightning, nice mini fridge, it did not smell, good tempurature control, nice coffee machine. Overall, it served its purpose without any troubles […] or problems. We were happy. Les mer

The Marriott Courtyard on Shaw is well away from the street indicated and not easy to locate especially at night. It needs a sign on Shaw. Breakfast which was not complimentary was not very good. Although there was complimentary coffee in the room there was no tea and no cups on the second day.

We stayed at this hotel as a stop of point as it was on route from San Francisco to Las Vegas. The hotel was lovely, very clean, nice large rooms. They don't have a place to eat in the hotel however they have an outside restaurant that deliver straight to your door. Wide range of food for very good prices. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Spent a couple nights. Room was very clean Beds comfortable Pool and Hot Tub in good condition Staff was excellent as was the breakfast. Very pleased. The hotel is hard to find at first. Sits way back off E Shaw.
