found the room had a musty oder,the microwave looked as if it was the 70's and didnt heat very good and the controller to the tv didnt work properly.THE FRONT DESK CLERKS WERE AWESOME

"Average Stay - Good Location"
This hotel is your average economy hotel. Hotel could use a facelift. The blow dryer did not work in our room but when reported was fixed that day. The microwave did not work and was not repaired. WIFI didnt work. When reported I was told that the router could no be reset for just one customer. I was given a network cable to use and was able to access […] the Internet. "great bathroom"
It's great to find a motel where the bathroom sink is actually in the bathroom and not in the living area. The toilet is a full size oval one, not like the small circular one found in the cheaper motels.
"Last Remaining Room - Terrible!"
Checked in late and was given the only room left available, clerk was apologetic and soon found out why. The room looked nice but smelled somewhat stale and moldy, the bathroom was the culprit, mold in the shower floor and toilet in awful state of cleanliness and sanitation - toilet had debris on it that looked to be dried vomit and/or fecal matter, […] floor in front of it was dirty and the texture in the wall beside it, was stained with "matter" as well. We always carry lysol spray disinfectant when we travel, and put it to good use in this toilet and the area around it, we dared not walk in the room, barefoot, housecleaning and previous guest surely tracked the contaminants throughout the carpeted floor of the room. Will have to add that the staff was exceptionally nice and the rest of the hotel was in good shape, breakfast good, coffee terrible though, I believe this room isn't indicative of the rest of the hotel, given the apologetic demeanor of the clerk upon check-in, so I'm willing to try again in the future, but still believe the condition was really inexcusable on the part of housekeeping, 15 - 20 minute scrub down with bleach solution, would've taken care of the problem, and texturing walls in a bathroom-particularly around a toilet and shower, is really foolish during a remodel, not conducive to sanitary maintenance. "Not the cleanest"
Our room had a moldy smell that my husband severely disliked. There were hairs in the tub, and the floors felt dirty to walk on. The mattresses were old and saggy. In my adult life, I've never felt so uncomfortable in a motel room. I don't generally consider myself a nit-picky person, but this was not a restful night's stay.

"Minimalist experience"
I have stayed here several times over the last six years. It remains a convenient location, but the quality has fallen off considerably. Room was reasonably clean, but bed is more fitting for an old RV. Tissue and TP are third world quality. The evening clerk was far more interested in a succession of personal phone calls than the needs of the guests. […] I'll be looking for a different place to stay next time. Les mer
A little run down but nothing serious. Vacuuming in the room was lacking but over it was clean.

"Great Hotel for the Money"
The location of the hotel was very convenient for me and located in an area where restaraunts were plentiful. The check-in process was very efficient and the staff was very professional. The room was extremely spacious and a good deal for the money. I would definately stay here again.

"I'll be back"
Desk personnel were courteous & helpful. Room was large & the bed was extra comfortable. Everything in the room (A/C, TV, toilet, shower head, refrigerator, etc) worked exactly as it should.

Its outside of Baton Rouge so dont let the title fool you. Check in was probably the best part of our stay. Such great customer service. The front desk clerk was super nice and had great suggestions for places to eat. Great food options within walking distance. Great for the price. "Exceptionall Nice People"
We stayed here because it is close to friends we were visiting. Wish there were more hotels like this one. Everyone at the front desk, and all the staff were so nice! They were friendly and informative, and very willing to please. Based on this alone I will stay there everytime we go back. Hotel was clean and in a very accessible location.

Staff was very friendly during our stay. During our stay, the hotel hair dryer had a short in it and we had to call the front desk 2 times to assist, but each time Charles (worked at Front Desk) was super nice to help without having to wait a long time. Upon departure of our stay, I realized I had left some clothes in our dresser drawer and called the […] hotel and they still had the clothes/put them up front for our relatives to pick up. "Wonderful Home Away from Home"
We had a wonderful stay at the DAYS INN. The customer service was great. Even after we forgot something in our room after check-out and had to return to pick it up, the staff was super nice to us! :)
"Everything is fine...but"
I had no problems with the staff, room or pricing, but when it came to the "free continental breakfast" is where the issue came up. Their idea of breakfast is biscuits, juice and a waffle machine. If you are looking for eggs and bacon in the morning, this is not the place to stay at.

Very Comfortable....but it does seem all htels in this area are pricey compared to Dallas, Houston, or other major cities... This was very nice and clean... OK for just a one-niter....
