There were used, dried up washclothes left in the bathroom. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom as well when we checked in.
"Close to Ft Benning. Nice place to stay."
Staff and free continental breakfast were wonderful! The hotel is a little older but clean. The only negative was our shower curtain leaked the water onto the bathroom floor flooding the floor. Everything else was great. I would stay there again if needed. Its only 15 minutes from the base!
Customer service was great I felt welcome but I had to request certain areas to be cleaned as they were overlooked prior to my check in. the room was cozy but I didnt get the suite feel from it. It was nothing spectacular but still I must admit cozy. The location was a bit shady. I felt uncomfortable walking to the convenience store and back. Overall […] it was an ok experience. "Best suited for our needs at the right price."
The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful for any of our needs. It was located in a good area just off the highway. Complete breakfast included each morning, which saved on expenses. Quiet area, pool, hair dryer, TV in kings size bed area and separate TV in couch area , which turned into a single bed with desk, free internet frig, sink & microvwave. Staff friendly and helpful-overall appearance and neighborhood needs refurbished- not convenient to Ft. Benning - about a 1/2 hr drive.

I have never been to a hotel with such genuinely nice staff. The manager asked us how our stay was. I was pouring coffee and the front desk lady said "baby, poor that one out I am bring up a fresh pot for you right now" they were so friendly and so kind. I would def go back. "The Days Inn - Phenix City"
My husband and I stayed at The Days Inn Phenix City one night to see a family member graduate from the Ft. Benning military program. Overall, it was good for one night. The bed was comfy but I think the room could have been a little cleaner. I would recommend this hotel to others because of its affordability but not for the quality.

"Mini Family Reunion"
I read several bad reviews before we went but decided to take a chance. The neighborhood is not bad. The hotel is on a main road not inside a neighborhood. There is a 24 hour waffle place and a gas station that people walk and drive to from the surrounding area but if you park in the hotel's parking NOT the waffle place you don't seem to have a problem. […] Saw State trooper and Phenix City police eating there not at the donut shop(lol). Secondly people complain of dirty, maybe when they went but it was clean and fresh( non-smoking rooms) and the staff came every day with room service( we spent Christmas holidays there). We didn't need service every day but they were quite efficient on the days we took service. Thirdly the breakfast bar was well done with different items (cereal, make your own waffles, eggs, french toast, sausage, gravy, biscuits) several other things. Juice,milk and fruit included. One area of improvement would be a bigger laundry service for the guests. One machine for wash and dry for a place that size is not enough. Being a retired Navy wife( ( 21 years of traveling) I have seen some BADDDD hotels and this was not one of them. Staff was responsive to needs and helpful. Will stay again for big family reunion. "too many broken items"
While our room was clean, the fan in the bathroom did not function, the hairdryer did not work and the cable TV was cutting in and out. Add in an unimpressive and noisy breakfast and I'll go somewhere else next time.

A bit out of the way for us. We went to see our grandson graduate from tanker training at Ft Benning. Hotel was clean, staff was very helpful and breakfast was quite adequate. We made several trips from the hotel to the base so location was an inconvenience.

I booked the rooms here because of the name even though the reviews were mediocre. I was pleasantly surprised. The friendliness of the staff was exxcellent and the room was very nice. I didn;t get up for the breakfast the first day, my daughter did and berated it but I got up the second day and had a very nice breakfast. She is never satisfied. Good value for the money. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The surrounding area was kind of scary but there was plenty of lighting in the parking lot.

"Where's the cleaning lady?"
First of all the hotel is very run down. The cleaning lady was no where to be found. Our room was only cleaned on the 1 st day of our 3 day stay. There is a Hampton Inn next door. Stay there or if you are going to graduation at Ft. Benning stay in Columbus!!!!
Needs upgrade to air conditioning. Other than that, the place was OK for what I planned. Excellent staff.

This hotel far exceeded the star rate given. The hotel staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the maintenance staff were all very courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were spotless, and when they say no smoking - we actually did not smell smoke. The area is very convenient to Ft. Benning, Georgia and Columbus. The Hotel was approx 15 min from Fort Benning, GA. It was convenient and easy to access Hwy to multiple interesting sites. We were there to attend our sons Graduation at Fort Benning. The room was clean and perfect for our needs. The supplied extra towels and blankets on request. The Days Inn Columbus was a great deal for the money. Our room was clean, didn't smell like cigarette smoke (a non-smoking room), and had all of the amenities expected. When we needed extra towels, they were given without a fuss. The only issue we had was with the crib that we 'rented' for our 23 month old son. We forgot our portable crib and it was […] a relief that the hotel had them for our use. When it was brought to our room, it seemed sturdy enough. However, during our second night, the bottom collapsed at 3:30 in the morning and my son fell with it. He was fine and slept the rest of the night with us. In the morning, we took the crib out of our room. My husband told the front desk that there was an issue. The staff member at the front desk was a little hasty and rude at first, but when he learned what had happened he seemed more helpful. We were refunded the crib rental fee ($10/night) and the cost for a night's stay. The staff member told us that the crib would be thrown away. I recommend this hotel if you need a clean, safe place to sleep for a few nights. It's a short distance (about 10-15 minutes) to Fort Benning. However, I recommend you bring your own portable crib! The location was very convenient for visiting my son at Fort Benning. The only complaints I have is the cleanliness of the room. The coffee maker was so dusty and dirty I elected not to even use it. Nice hotel, no problem, great people
This hotel was just as expected. Not fancy just accommodating. The continental breakfast area is small and not much room for multiplecustomers to move around and get food. Only 1 or 2 at a time is about all there is room for. Other than that, everything was just as expected for the cost.

The hotel was in need of updating and remodeling. The comforter on my bed was ripped and the televisions were out dated and small. The continental breakfast was nothing "to write home about" and marijuana was being smoked in a neighboring room and could be smelled throughout the hotel.

The staff at the motel were helpful and polite. We were upset to have to take a smoking room when we had specifically requested non-smoking. The bathroom fan did not work in our room.

This hotel, for the price, is a very good place to stay. Our room was clean when we arrived, and kept clean our entire stay. There were two issues that I personally feel need to improve on. The first issue, the Hotel was very stingy with the towels and washcloths. There were two of us in the room, and we each were given one bath towel, one hand towel, […] and one washcloth. In all truthfulness, we did not ask for any additional towels, however in other hotels of this chain, I always had plenty of towels and cloths. The other issue I found was the free breakfast. At times, the hot food was cold and almost completely empty. What hot food a person was able to procure for themselves tasted okay, but nothing to write home about. Generally though, I will stay there again, if I am ever in the Ft. Benning, GA area. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Les mer

The rates were affordable, the hotel is easy to get to, and the parking lot adjoins that of an all-night diner that has good food. The clerk was able to give us directions to our destination the next day and all were friendly and curteous. The breakfast was good as well, and the hotel was clean and very nice.
