"Close to Rama and perfectly cheap"
Only stayed for 1 night but perfect for what we needed.

Short drive to the Casino. Good restaurants nearby that you can walk to. Basic room that was well worn but it was clean, tv worked good, mini fridge to keep your drinks cold. Continental breakfast had good coffee,OJ, muffins, toast, apples and bananas. Good value for the price. I would stay here again.
The heating in the room was not great at all and need of pillows on the beds are a must .For the price it was not bad .

"dog friendly"
We were very happy with our stay. It was great being able to have our dog with us. We don't need all the fancy sink handles or the perfect carpet in the room, we are looking for a clean room with a comfortable bed in a quiet room and that is what we got. Breakfast was great. The staff were really nice and helpful. The neighborhood has lots of stores […] and places to eat within one block. Les mer

have stayed here before and the room was exceptional,,BUT this last stay we noticed that the cleanliness of the room was not up to par, the toilet bowl rim was cracked, the t.v. screen was smudged, dust and cobwebs everywhere, the white towels had grey areas on them and even the sheets felt sandy to the touch, very disappointed with this last visit […] here. On the upside the staff was very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was more than welcoming first thing in the morning. This hotel is within walking distance to many fast food areas, some shopping, gas stations, medical facilities, banking and a laundomat. Les mer

The hotel location was great. I didn't care for the room itself. Not very clean, mattress were not good, no hair dryer in the room. I asked at the front desk and they had one to let me borrow. I don't think I would go back.

This hotel is really economy. The staff is GREAT! The location is GREAT! While the room was clean, it really is in need of an upgrade. The sheets were practically see through and the bed spread looked like it was for a king bed but was only a double. The towels had seen better days. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. "Econolodge Orillia -- Not worth ANY price."
This hotel's review was very deceiving in it's description. The hotel HAS NOT been remodeled. The rooms are dirty, the linens are dingy and yellow, and there is an ordor throughout the hotel. They didn't have enough towels for all the rooms in the morning. The description states it offers a restuarant bar/lounge which is NOT TRUE. The complimentary […] breakfast is really a first come first serve. They put out 2 dozen doughnuts and when they were gone it was over. It states the rooms have a safe and complimentary newspaper, again NOT TRUE. Nothing is true that you read about this hotel. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. Les mer
We were exceedingly disappointed as the sheets, pillowcases and towels were all a pale shade of grey instead of white - room was on the verge of dirty and the only saving grace was a clean bathroom. We stayed in the Sleep Inn at Sault Ste Marie the previous two nights and as this was a sister hotel we assumed we would get the same quality - but alas […] NO Les mer
Our stay at the motel was a very good experience; I would recommend anyone to stay at Econo Lodge; the staff was pleasant and courteous. You made our stay enjoyable.

we stayed here because it was in Orillia for car show -- it needs to have carpets replaced rust stains in tub--- tiles replaced cupboard undermicrowave refinished or repaced-- breakfast continental ok but would appreciate cereal otherwise fresh-- lots of fruit av so ok but seriously needs good cleaning and/or repacement would not rebook or recommend […] to others- Les mer

I was not satisfied with the accomodations of this hotel such as: room did not have hair dryer available, sheets appeared to be dirty.
"Dirty Room"
The room had cobwebs on the desk lamp and the carpet had never see a creves vacumn tool along the wall edges. The TV went out ever time you tried to pull it out or turn it. There was no air freshner in the room to help get rid of the smoke smell. I could go on but you get the idea.

This motel is among the best that I have seen. The room was amazingly spacious and all the ammenites were right at hand. The location was excellent with a fine dining restaurant across the road and convenience stores and gas stations nearby. I appreciated the security of the key card and I was always made to feel welcome whenever I entered the main […] motel lobby. The doors were very hard to open and we needed assistance to open the room.T.V.was old. Rooms were noisy and not well made.It was close to where we were so it was alright.

"choisir non fumeur!"
Ne surtout pas prendre de chambre fumeur. l'odeur affreuse qui est allée se coller a nos vêtements était insuportable. Bien que fumeuses, nous avons été surprise lorsque nous avons compri que les chambre , n'étaient JAMAIS aérées... résultat une odeur que nous avons tenté tant bien que mal de couvrir. En chambre non fumeur l'hotel doit etre mieux.
