Embassy Suites Busch Gardens - Tampa

Staying at this hotel we had a blast and the service was great, inparticular MARC was great with help us at the front desk. I would definitely stay again!

Nothing but good comments... I would just improve the breakfast options to make the TAMPA getaway perfect in this hotel.

Nice location & short drive to Bush Gardens. Kid friendly, good snacks and pizza on site saved time and money.

Great location for visiting son at USF and going to Busch Gardens. The pull out sofa bed is less than desirable but staff is great, hotel clean, and great breakfast value, and manager's happy hour excellent too. Best value when you add up all the amenities. Gym was also modern and clean! All staff members throughout acted genuine and professional.

Perfect location to Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, and MOSI. The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of room for myself, my husband and a family member. They have a great complimentary breakfast too. However, they don't have free wifi which was a bummer.

Great hotel -perfect for visitors to USF. Awesome made to order breakfast buffet, managers reception hard to beat, clean comfortable rooms.

Booked the hotel thru hotels.com for our family vacation of 13 people based on distance to Busch Gardens/Adventure Island. We had no idea what to expect, but the moment we arrived we were extremely impressed. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is fenomenal, and the happy hour is wonderful to whin down. Wonderful hotel. Service was fantastic. At check in the receptionist booked my family on the top floor because "kids love that"! (My 6 year old had already "hoped" we would be on the top floor on our trip. It was a thoughtful thing to do. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel has a great location for Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. The cook to order breakfast was excellent. Only challenge was that everything in our room seemed damp. We would have asked to change to rooms but by the time we realized the situation it was too late and we were only staying one night.

Excellent hotel,( breakfast, transportation ,location and staff).

hotel was awsome, the amentities were even better, shuttle to busch gardens, free breakfast and we even made a couple of manager reception. we had a good time.

We went for my son's orientation at usf for two days and the stay was fabulous! The room was huge and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was more than outstanding. The shuttle was so convenient. I brought my two year old along and while my husband was with our son at usf, I took my daughter to busch gardens and the mall all using the shuttle service. […] They take you where you want to go within a 5 mile radius and pick you up promptly when you call them. Perfect location to visit Busch Gardens/Adventure Island. Shuttle service saves on parking fees -a bit of a wait but not too bad. Hotel was clean and the amenities were great. Nice breakfast that also saved time and money. Cocktails in the evening a nice plus. Will definitely go back.

The hotel is fabulous. I love the atrium with all of the rooms opening onto it. The suite is really a suite with a door between the bedroom and living. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is worth the staying just to experience it. Can't say enough good things about this hotel.

This place was awsome. Managers reception and breakfast was really good. Really kid friendly. Just wished we could stay longer.

The hotel was GREAT the staff was very nice. They had a wonderful breakfast buffet (free) and the afternoon gathering for snacks and drinks again (free) they have an on demand shuttle to take you anywhere within 5 miles. Went to Bush Gardens for the day and when we wanted to return we simply called them and within 10 or so they were there again (free). […] The room rate was very reasonable. Very nice garden waterfall setting in the lobby. We stayed at this hotel the night before cruising out of Tampa. Close to the port (about 10 min,) My only complaints would be when we arrived at 7 p.m. after traveling 14 hours to get there, the front desk staff was struggling to find us clean rooms. There were other people waiting in the lobby for rooms also, It was a Sun. night. When we got to the […] rooms (we had two), one was clean and the other was not--maid was still working on room. When we went back to front desk, the staff had to search again for a clean room which he was able to do on the same floor which was good because we had two 16-year old boys in the other room. They were originally next door to us, but with the new room were on the other side of the hotel. The boys reported the next morning that their shower was backed up and not working properly, Other than that, it's a very nice, clean hotel. Great breakfast and evening reception (free drinks!), Room was very comfortable with a sitting area separate from the bedroom with a mini fridge and sink. The surrounding areas were extremely convenient. Lots of retail stores and restaurants and Busch Gardens was just down the street. I would consider the above a fluke and would definitely stay at this hotel again. Les mer

We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites. The made to order breakfast which included eggs, pancakes, french toast, fresh fruit, etc was amazing. We also enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks each night. The staff was very friendly including our maid and the manager. The only suggestion we have is for the floors to be cleaned more frequently, […] otherwise the stay was perfect. It was so refreshing to walk into the clean hotel after a long hot day at the park. Highly recommend Hotel!! Friendly staff and comfy beds. Only fault is that it needs more shuttles running to Bush Gardens. We waited 1 hour for a shuttle to pick us up at Bush Gardens. Too long of wait when it's raining:( other than that the hotel I an excellent hotel.

The breakfast was wonderful, the room was very clean and the hotel was very close to Buschgarden theme park, quick check in and check out, the personal are so friendly, I recommend this hotel .

Stayed at this hotel because of all the great reviews on tripadvisor. Hotel was just as reviews stated...wonderful. The complimentary breakfast every morning was outstanding, staff was friendly, hotel was clean and presented well. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is clean but dated. It is good for families. The breakfast bar was very good. The staff was very friendly. Can't say much for the patrons though.

I had a mostly pleasurable 3-day stay at this hotel, except for the appreciable street noise on Fowler Ave. When I registered, I specifically ask for a "quiet" room, but was given a room on the side of the hotel that faces Fowler Ave. This street is always busy with cars, but it's the students who drive cars with purposefully-loud mufflers that forced […] me to have my air conditioning fan on all of the time in order to have "white noise" to negate the loud mufflers from these fart-mobiles. These loud cars are always driven by young adult males who just want people to notice them -- they must have short-comings in other areas to want such attention. Upon checkout, I told the front desk individual about this problem so that future guests don't have the same experience. However, she seemed oblivious to my comment, so I am sure it went in one ear and out the other. Thus, I must rate this hotel lower than otherwise because the registration people should have known about that whole side of the hotel being noisy with street noise. I'd stay here again, but NEVER on the side of the hotel facing Fowler Ave. If you like to hear loud mufflers from cars of young adults who have an inferiority complex and drive fart-mobiles, boy do I have a side of the hotel for you! We showed up at 10am off the cruise ship hoping just to have our bags stored while we spent the day at Busch Gardens and return later to check in on our reservation. The gentleman working the desk offered check and see if our room was available. (check in wasn't until 4pm) Our room was available and we were allowed to check in. The suite was nice size, […] very clean and confortable. the breakfast was much better then the average cold cereal, bread, and waffels. Shuttle service to/from Busch Gardens was also prompt. If I ever return the Busch Garden area I won't stay anywhere else Les mer

This property is nice and very convenient. The shuttle service is superb and the drivers were very pleasant and polite. The free breakfast spread was impressive and included custom made omlettes. The gym and pool are also very nice. The only complaints I have are that the AC in my room would never get very cold and the front desk staff was unable to […] answer standard questions about the area like, what time does Busch Gardens open/close?, is there parking downtown?, etc. They handed me a terrible, faded, map of the area that what home made and outdated. It was useless. Also my reservation with hotels.com included free WIFI, but when I tried to cnnnect from my room the screen kept asking me to pay about $10, so I called the front desk. They informed me that free WIFI was not extended to the guest rooms, only in the business center in the lobby area. BIG dissapointment. I would have chosen another property for this reason alone. The hotel was great. the pool and hot tub were wonderful. We had 2 adults and 3 children in our party and there was plenty of room for us all. The free breakfast was awesome. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again and again

We wanted a hotel near Busch Gardens and Embassy Suites was perfect. With updated decor and friendly staff, our stay was great. Pool was a bit small and water was too cool for comfort, but hot tub was good. We were happy to find our suite had a door between rooms, allowing more privacy. Nice hotel for the price. Spacious rooms - good breakfast and easy location. One dissappointment, our toilet overflowed. We called for help - they sent maintenance to the wrong room. We called again, by then water was out on the carpets. We asked for another room. They brought us a key 20 minutes later. By the time we repacked and unpacked again, we […] lost the entire afternoon of our one full day for site seeing in Tampa. When we discussed it with guess services, we were told there was nothing they could do about it. If I ran a hotel and the toilet overflowed (through no fault of the guest) , I would offer more than another key. Les mer

We stayed here on 3/29/11. I had booked a 2-Queen room but we were told when we arrived that they only had King Suites available. It was cramped for our family of 5 but the room was clean. The breakfast was fantastic and everyone was very nice. We were going to Busch Gardens so the location was excellent for us. Would definitely recommend!

We only stayed for one night but, wish it was more. The room and the hotel were clean and it was very convient to the local attractions. They also provided a shuttle which was great.

Room was nice. loved the Happy Hour with full bar and snacks for 2 hours. it was very relaxing. Breakfast was wonderful also. The area that they do both the happy hour and breakfast in is big and clean. Feels like nice restaurant. We loved it. We were going to Orlando but we liked this hotel so much we considered commuting.

This hotel is clean and staff are very professional. The breakfast is great with many selections. We did not use the afternoon snack but it is nice to have. The dinner is a bit challenge if you don't have a car. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Vert close to Moffit was very convient and the price the night we were there was very reasonable. They have a Great breakfast bar with eggs cooked to order, was included in the room rate.

Great hotel if you are going to Busch Gardens with the family. The free shuttle could save a lot of money if you are going multiple days. Unfortunately we were bypassed twice after requesting twice to use the shuttle to the park. Not as convienient as I thought it would be. Ended up taking the car and paying for parking. Breakfast was a little greasy […] but pretty great as far as complimentary breakfasts go. They had pretty much everything you could want. The managers reception was nothing spectacular but nice, unlimited beer, wine, mixed drinks, juice and pop, chips. Just one thing... People, please watch your kids! They like forgoing the tongs and plunging their hands into the bowl. The staff was efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Flat screens in both bedroom and sitting area. Reception not great though. The only other flaw was the sink in the bathroom was chipped and cracked. No biggie but just an eyesore. Les mer

Went to this Embassy Suites and had an overall great experience. One negative was there were no towels down at the pool. We even went in to request towels and were told that some would be delivered right now. Thirty minutes later with ice cold kids, there were still no towels. The manager's reception was great, the breakfast buffet in the morning was […] great as well. Only complaint there was the lack of seating available. I liked the suites and would definitely go back. We always chose embassy suites if it's available. This location had amazing friendly service and was cleaner and nicer than the Westshore location we stayed at a few months ago. My only complaint would be the breakfast was not hot and the coffee ended up being empty both mornings, leaving a string of people in line at only one coffee location.
