Flott beliggenhet i forhold til strandopphald. Lett å komme seg til stranda. Også bra med basseng på hotelltaket for dei som ikkje likar strandlivet.

This hotel was obviously very grand in its day. Unfortunately it is now a little run down and in need of lots of maintenance. Although it is in a great location opposite Bondi beach, I am not sure it is value for money.

This hotel is opposite the beach and very convenient for exploring other beaches in the area.

This is the best hotel in Bondi but it's a funny old mix of lots of decorating styles and their maintenance is not great--safe, jacuzzi, air conditioning--all not working or not working well. It's a pity because the hotel has a lot to offer--beach views, open air pool etc.

We booked the Swiss grand as we used to live in bondi and wanted to catch up with friends and stay locally. It is at the upper price range but we decided it would be worth it. It is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. We were awake from 11pm - 4am and so was our 10month old son! The noise from the people leaving the pubs was incredible. Not only was this Place awesome, snoop dog stayed a few doors down from us. The only thing I would do next time is pay a little extra for a room overlooking Bondi

Ignoring the odd room and floor setup, this is a charming hotel. The rooms have been styled in an older era--and or well-maintained from an older era--but they are comforting and just spacious enough. The roof grounds are oddly laid out, but the pool--if you're more a pool than beach person--will make do. Of the staff, the cleaning/house staff are […] nice and prompt. The concierge folks are nice and generally pretty knowledgeable, whereas reception seems to be better at processing things and do not have much if any local knowledge. Regardless... you should stay here for it's easy access to the beach. It's essentially central Bondi making it a very quick and leisurely walk to either north or south Bondi. Enjoy. Les mer

Fantastic location for what we needed shame about the hotel in general. Luke warm reception, musty smelling room and dirty bath. Non smoking floor but all you could smell was stale smoke. Our room was on the right handside of the building as you look out to sea. By 10pm you feel like you are trying to sleep in the middle of a nightclub, not what you'd […] expect considering what we paid per night. Breakfast is average I would definitely recommend skipping this option and heading to one of the lovely local cafes for great food and coffee. All in all the only thing that was good was the location as it was so close to the wedding we were attending. Next time we will not be staying here. Les mer

This "resort" (using term loosely) is very nicely located on Bondi Beach. However, it appears the hotel has not been updated in many years. Felt old, dirty, and the bed was like a board. Overpriced breakfast buffet as well. I would recommend staying here ONLY if Bondi Beach is your prime objective.

Sadly this hotel is looking tired and run down although it is in a perfect location.... The staff put nearly $100 on our bill from some other persons food and drink in the lobby bar and then upon check out told us they would "sort it out". Two days later this charge appeared on our credit card. It took many many phone calls and nearly a week to correct […] this with no phone call or apology the credit appeared back on our credit card. We had a wonderfull stay. The hotel has old fashioned charm and is beutiful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was good. I would recommend this place to anyone unless you are expecting the Hilton.

The hotel is located in one of the best suburbs of Sydney, there are lots of things to do there. But its price is very high.

Good customer service and location, but extremely overpriced and walls paper thin and windows not sealed well to where you can hear EVERYTHING from each wall and outside. I wouldnt stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the Swiss Grand on our wedding night. They let me check in really early so my bridesmaids and I could get ready there. It was perfect for that as there was plenty of room, two rooms to be specific and a bathroom. The ocean view was brilliant and allowed for great photos. The room was very modern and I really liked it! I definitely […] recommend spending the extra money for an ocean view room. I think they've been more recently refurbished and the view is worth the extra money. I'm very picky but would definitely recomment this hotel! Les mer

Old hotel but was quite clean. Very good location, the beach is just in front.

non mi aspettavo un gran che. e invece ,con mia sorpresa ho trovato personale gentile,camera spaziosa,pulita.certo andrebbe un po' rinnovato.

Nice hotel with good location. The building is really old, therefore the decoration and outlook are not the most modern ones either. Your room may be noicy due to traffic and some bars, especially if you wanted that with an ocean view. But the view is beautiful. Breakfast buffet was good. Well located hotel. Old and tired rooms. receptionists not very friendly. Wifi not free. Nice hotel but dont expect too much of the rooms.
