"Harrah's Laughlin Cheap for a Reason"
I dont know why we thought going to Laughlin would be a good idea - probably because of all the Harrahs ads they send to my parents that look so colorful, modern and inviting! However, Laughlin is a pretty awful place. There is '0' class in the people and the establishments! Harrahs is old, smells like smoke, the buffet is awful and the eggs and stale […] pancakes made us all sick! Fom the outside it looks pretty decent and the reviews werent that awful so we went! We even paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room thinking a flat screen tv and plush pillowtop bed would be comfortable ... However... The room smelled mildewy, the furniture and paint was scratched and old, there was a dirty towel in the closet for the whole three days we were there, the temperature was nver right etc etc There is no fridge or safe either. People were checking in with coolers, beers, grocery bags full of snacks etc. Very strange 'hotel' experience to say the least! We will never go back to Harrahs or Laughlin. Laughlin is a sad place. First place i've seen where half of the stores in the Outlet center have even closed! Barstow has more name brand stores than Laughlin!! Tells you Something about the town and its visitors, I guess. Can't beat the price but it is a little off the strip from the rest of the casinos. Had to pay extra a night plus tax to upgrade to a room with a flat screen TV but we had a good view. Beds were comfortable.

This room was booked for 2 adults. Yet, other than the bed, it only had 1 straight (and soiled) chair for sitting. We asked for a non-smoking room but the smell of smoke was obvious. The price was good and we enjoyed the buffet dinner.

"Limited Handicapped Parking"
Our room in the North Tower was very nice -- clean, comfortable, great view.The only drawback to our stay was the lack of handicapped parking. The small number of spaces in front of the North Tower were always taken. The handicapped spaces in the parking garage were a far walk from the hotel entrance.

Rooms are clean and very nice especially for the price. There's also a nice pool area. Has three restaurants plus Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, etc. The only drawback is it's a little bit of a walk from the rest of Laughlin and the River walk.

I stayed at the Harrah's on the way to the Grand Canyon West from Quartzsite for one night on 1/23/2012. They gave us 2 for 1 buffet deal for the stay. What a deal! We enjoyed staying there and played on our favorite slot machines; we had great time. "Harrahs Hotel good rates, in need of renovation"
We stayed here for my husbands birthday, it was an alright hotel no frills.We were in the North Tower which must be the older part of the hotel. The room is in serious need of updating and the shower leaves a lot to be desired. I don't know if they have issues with water pressure and temperture but they both were not great. The staff is very helpful […] and polite and willing to help all they can. Short drive to Oatman and Havasue. I wouldn't stay here again but I wouldn't tell anyone not to stay here. It is a good price for an older hotel. Les mer

I didn't get the room I reserved the first night even though I called a head and asked if I could check in earlier. I was given the correct room the following night. Hotel was fine.
"Clean and Comfortable"
Harrah's is a lovely casino, hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much. The only complaint is that they should have more comfortable chairs and more than one chair in the room. It would be nice to have a coffee table as well. The one chair was most uncomfortable and we did ask for a second chair which they did bring very quickly.. "Good stop on the way Grand Canyon"
We live in LA and were on our way to the Grand Canyon. Good rate, clean room, didn't haft to leave the hotel to get Starbucks. We will be back to stay for a few days next time.

Our room was so far from the casino, my aging parents had to stop twice to rest before getting there! Other than that loved it.

"Laughlin Harrah"
Not the cleaness hotel in the world, room was sort of run down, no sound proofing - could hear everything on the whole floor. Hallway was never cleaned during my week stay including the pizza spugh in front of elevator - don,t stay in north tower unless you like screaming kids and barking dogs (maybe it was a dog hotel - I don't know). The baking cinammon […] rolls in the morning filled the air - on the 7th floor - that was cold, needless to say we ate cinammon rolls alot! The adult tower is the place to stay. Casino was great and drinks were not watered down. Staff was OK, some of them great. Hotel is within walking distance of the other casinos but you will do some hill climbing (we needed the exercise). Plenty of parking but be prepared to walk a little (don,t leave anything in cars - it will not be there when you come back, or your window). I would stay there again but I recommend the Edgewater. Cheap price, but room was top notch...we stayed in deluxe room; pillow top mattresses were very comfortable...the hotel buffet was amazing, only 1 complaint....we didn't strike it rich on the slot machines :(

We were debating on this hotel but glad we booked here, it was the best hotel in laughlin. The only downfall is that its not walking distance to the other hotels. Good experience for our first visit. Very kid friendly.

The Harrahs hotel was clean with a very nice staff, it was a pleasant stay for the night i was there.

Harrah's is one of the better hotels in Laughlin, but removed from the rest physically and not close to the river where the others are. When on sale it is a very good deal quality-wise.

for the price this hotel was very nice and very clean...the only problem was the waitresses in the casino...very rude and they took forever to bring our drinks....but over all i will definatley stay again...

We have stayed at the Harrahs before and were not satisfied with the service and room...but this trip was different. We felt very welcome, the room was clean and comfortable and the price was right. **We also had a 'pet' room and Harrahs treated our pet like a celebrity!!! We received 2 dog dishes, a mat to put them on and a bag of treats.

For years, if I wanted to go to Laughlin, I'd have to stay in Arizona. Considering Arizona's political atmosphere, it is my desire to spend as little money and time in Arizona, so I am pleased that Harrahs is now accepting pets at their hotel. Even though we have a service dog, we chose to stay on the pet friendly 8th floor. It is always nice to be […] surrounded by others who see dogs as we do. By far the BEST hotel in Laughlin. Friendly staff, exceptional food at the Beach Cafe, not to mention the wait staff was wonderful. The room was nicely appointed and the bed....truly one of the MOST comfortable I've slept upon in ages!!! I want one just like it!!! We were very impressed and will be back!!

Overall a nice two day stay. Room needs some tlc,paint, wall dings, scuffle marks. Please get better and fitted sheets, uncomfortable bed sheet scrunching. Great buffet.

We are not much on gambling but wanted to go some place close from Vegas. I always went down for the for the Laughlin river run and decided to stay at Harrahs for our honeymoon. There is no more lounge, no live music and no place to sit. Yes there are bars, but they all have tabletop gaming. The Mexican food place had great food and killer deserts. […] The riverview was great the only problem was the corners of the room could have used a good cleaning and the sink backed up the last day we were there. Compared to other hotel rooms in Laughlin, Harrah's is a step above. The front desk was very helpful after informing them of my discomfort of being by the elevators. Room was clean and updated.
