Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Downtown - Atlanta

Pros: cheap, big room, pull out couch for guests, breakfast, fridge, and wi-fi. Cons: Uncomfortable bed and even worse pillows. I had terrible neck pain by the end of my trip.

We had a nice time during our stay. I thought the room was a little small but for two people staying one night it was fine. I enjoyed the breakfast, the eggs were very good.

Great location. Walked to Hard Rock Cafe and Philips Arena. Wish I didnt have to pay extra for parking. Clean bed and room. Good breakfast included.

We enjoy it being close to the World Congress Center. Walking is great to it and downtown.

Hotel was great except for the noise from outside. Hotel next door was very noisy. Every few minutes all night long the valets were honking car horns. This kept me awake most of the night. Also, our car was parked in their expansion garage and when we went to leave the next day the code did not work to open the gate. We tried calling the garage owner […] but their office was closed until Monday. We finally were able to get it out by going around to the other side and walking up the driving ramp to the upper level. Hotel staff was very nice and let us have a little later check out. Les mer

I like a nice hot shower, but the water pressure was so low that it felt like someone was sprinkling me with a plant sprayer.

Perfect location within walking distance of Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, CNN, etc. Hotel was very clean with a extremely courteous staff.

To par form what we expect from Hampton Inns - very clean. Breakfast higher quality than the usual stuff in hotels. Great staff. Only hiccup, small rooms and no microwave, fridge. Otherwise, A-OK.

Room was clean but erratic as far as timing and at least once housekeeping walked in on us without knocking.

The first night, the heat would not come on and the TV did not work. The bathtub dripped. But we still loved the place. Great location and very nice personnel. Our hotel stay was simply wonderful. We slept in a very comfortable bed, in a spotless room that was comfortably heated, in a location that was safe and near to many sights. Breakfast was delicious and all the employees were gracious and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent value. Nicely updated, clean, chic. Very nice breakfast, good wifi, newspapers, coffee in lobby all day. What it's missing is a fridge in-room, and closet.

Attending a conference at the Congress Center for 3 days. Breakfast each morning was very good. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We could walk to the conference and several choices for dinner. We will use this hotel again!

The lack of a hairdryer in the room was quite disappointing and inconvenient. Everyone was walking around with wet, unstyled hair.

I have read some negative reviews of this hotel, and I don't understand them. I have stayed here twice - previously on business and now for leisure. This is a great, well run, clean hotel close to everything downtown. Even after we checked out, we were allowed to leave our car parked until 5:00 pm with no additional charge while we walked to the aquarium […] and Coke museum. Few blocks walk took us to a very cheap shuttle to the baseball game. I'll take the free breakfast and internet any day compared with paying more for a fancier hotel next door that gives neither for free. Les mer

Expected to have a bottle of water in the room. Expected better customer service at the front desk overall. Only one individual out of the entire team was nice and friendly and attentive.

Everyone on the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Any need was addressed. The hotel was very clean. I felt the $18.00 charge for parking was much to high.

The room was very small!!! The bathroom was very small!!! The parking lot was teeny as well and they had to double park people all weekend so twice our car was blocked in! We had to pay $18 A DAY for parking. When we checked in we were told $18, NOT $18 A DAY. That was $36 just to park and then to be blocked in!!!! That is a shame. The ONLY thing wrong was the door was hard to open. It would jam and take several attempts before you could get into your room but we also didn't report it since it was a one night stay. The service was great and the staff was friendly. Definitely would stay here again!

Overall this hotel was fine. The room was nice and clean. There was a great big window with a view of the street and buildings in the vicinity. The breakfast was pretty good with a wide range of selections. There were just a few little things. The coffee maker basket was missing. The toilet paper holder broke. The bathtub drain was slow. The beds were […] ok. You could hear everything. I expect to hear other people, but this was pretty bad. Hotel was nice, but hotel front desk clerk not very helpful. We checked in around 1 pm and was told room was not ready until check in time at 3 pm they went ahead and checked us into hotel and we waited. Around 3 pm they were checking other people in and the were given rooms immediately. We arrived early and they were kind enough to give us a room instead of making us wait. The hotel room was very nice and very clean. The only complaint I have is that the room was a bit noisy at night. You could hear a lot of traffic from the street and sometimes it was loud enough to wake me. The hotel was an easy walk from our Marta stop from the […] airport - only 2 blocks. Also an easy walk to Peachtree Center, Olympic Park, CNN, Aquarium, and World of Coca Cola. The only complaint I had was that at night there were many times I didn't feel quite safe and there was a lot of begging day and night just while walking down the street. Don't recommend walking to the Underground to catch a shuttle to the Braves game. The walk there in the daylight was even a bit shady but definitely don't walk back to the hotel after the game unless you are in a group of people. The location of this hotel was amazing! We were able to walk to do many places, including the CNN center, Olympic park, the aquarium, coca cola world, restaurants, etc... Awesome!

Everything was great....modern hotel. A little hard to get into the parking lot, but otherwise excellent. The breakfast was delicious and they also allowed vehicles to stay in the parking lot until 5 pm on checkout, which is nice if you are visiting one more thing before leaving.

The Hampton is very close to Centennial Park, the Georgia Aquarium, the Congress Center and the World Of Coke. It's a very walkable area with many restaurants and bars that cater to visitors. The breakfast was pretty bad and below what I expected from Hampton... instant eggs, sausage that looked like it had been cooked at three-mile island, watery […] oatmeal, bad canned gravy and coffee so strong that it might reinvigorate Newt Gingrich's presidential bid. There were plenty of cold options; pastries, cereal, fruit etc but the hot offerings were disappointing. The rooms are tight and more what you see in NYC. The facility is comfortable and clean despite finding a really gnarly toenail in the middle of the floor of our room. Les mer
