"Close to Rochester but outside the city"
My daughter and I had a nice stay and we got a wonderful recommendation for a nearby restaurant. The Hampton Inn always has consistent, prompt service and I always feel welcome.
"Excellent - even dogs are allowed"
Excellent. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Very clean. Convenient to thruway, shopping plaza across street, next to Fridays. Large shopping mall is just down the street. If you have a dog - no problem - your room will be on the first floor. This is our second time here. Will stay here again when we come back to Rochester.

Perfect for our 1 night stay. Pool and Fitness room are a must when we travel and both were clean. Continnental breakfast a plus as was the coffee counter late at night

That about says it all, sparkling clean complete facility, very good continental breakfast, wifi, public computers, very friendly staff!
"not what I booked"
I had booked a suite, the description said King bed with fireplace and sofa bed. When we arrived our suite did not have a fireplace. Not that we needed a fireplace in the summer, but it was what I booked, seeing how we were two couples sharing the room. I assumed the room with the fireplace would be a little larger. We loved this hotel! Our kids loved the pool and we loved that they offered breakfast and that we could enjoy it in the courtyard. Coin laundry is available but make sure to bring your own quarters as they don't stock any at the front desk (tip: the vending machines will return quarters). There is a TGI Friday's right next to the hotel, and a large […] shopping mall is just minutes away. I'd read some not-so-flattering reviews about a different Hampton Inn in this area, & Hotels.com was the ONLY site thru which I could book a room at this specific Hampton. it's the way to go. This is a new one (possibly built in 2009), & is as top notch as the other Hamptons I've stayed at. Clean, nice design, great free hot breakfast... gym, pool, […] enclosed courtyard, business office, free in-room wi-fi, etc. The only complaints? I had to plug in the clock radio & set it myself... & the toilet ran on a bit by itself, but was not noisy. Big deal. And it was a bit pricey...but hey, the place was great. I'd definitely want to stay here again if in the Rochester/Bloomfield/Victor area. Les mer
"Unbelieveable Value!"
NOT ONE THING COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!! I had the best service in my life from these guys. Everyone there seemed happy to serve me. They weren't just doing their jobs...they seemed to LIKE it! Everything was SO clean, and SO comfortable!! The shampoo and conditioner were GREAT, the breakfast was great! And when my father-in-law's hotel fell through, […] in 30 minutes they has a room down the hall from us!! It was so amazing! I called the staff the week before to see about a bed for my baby, and they were excited on the phone to help me. WOW! I have stayed at lots of hotels in lots of situations including the Hyatt Regency in D.C. and not even that could hold a candle to my experience at this hotel. I love this place! It is my new favorite place to go! The pool was awesome, the fitness center is BETTER than my gym at home. I just could not believe how great the staff was. "Wonderful Room"
The room was much nicer than we expected. (Nice kitchen, tiled bathroom and seperate bedroom.) The free breakfast was enjoyed but the commercial flat eggs left much to be desired, as far as eggs go. The staff members were pleasant and welcoming. Overall, we had a very nice stay.

"Good Hotel"
I feel this hotel is in the upper quality level of the price point. We had the shower handle break on a sunday and they had someone there immediately to fix. The beds are very comfortable and everything was nice. It is right next to a TGIF restaurant and a mall.
