Veldig fornøyd! Fint rom, veldig nærme stranden og stille og trygt område. Noe langt til sentrum dersom man skal gå! God service og ok bassengområde! Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Kjempekoselig hotell. Bra beliggenhet i nærheten av strendene og State street. Reingjøringen på hotellet var veldig bra, og god service. Ok frokost, men savnet ost og kjøttpålegg!! Deilig med svømmebasseng og boblebad:)

Our room was VERY noisy and there was maintenance going on early in the morning killing a late morning sleep. There was a senior discount which we did not get because we went through your service.

Excellent location, which is what it is all about in Santa Barbara, We walked everywhere from our hotel!! The room was lovely, nicely appointed and super comfy. Perfect! Front desk was polite, helpful and down to earth.

BFF and I stayed here for girl's getaway and the location to the beach (across the street) is unbeatable for the price. Updated Accommodations, minimal continental breakfast, and friendly staff. State Street is only a block away (albeit the South end, but a quick walk North takes you to the heart of it all). Make sure you visit the 'Foot Massage Spa' […] next to the Adult Bookstore for the best value massage in Ventura County-- and The Natural Cafe has amazing healthy apps & entrees to keep you energized during your visit. The SB Foot Spa was actually MUCH better than the Ojai day spa we visited the next day and a fraction of the cost. Make sure you request the $10/15 minute foot scrub....your calves and feet will glisten out the door. Les mer

Kid and adult friendly. Great staff at checking. Loved the breakfast and wine and cheese hour. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

We stayed at six hotels during our two & a half week stay in the States, and this one was certainly the most unprepossessing on arrival. However, that hid the true quality of the hotel. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, the standard and cleanliness of our room were superb. What's more (unlike our very expensive hotel in Las Vegas) everything […] in the room worked! Previous reviewers are right, though: to get the best out of this hotel, you need to book a harbor view room. Great location on the harbor front, too, and very close to both Stearn's Wharf and State Street for good quality eateries. The cheese & wine served in the evening is definitely a nice touch and the complimentary breakfasts were excellent. We'd definitely stay here again as it was one of the best hotel experiences we had on our trip. Les mer

We really enjoyed our stay and the extras were far above that of the COSMOPOLITIN in Las Vegas where we had a suite. The coffee, water, breakfast, wine & cheese, and coffee plus available 24/7 in lobby plus many options, pleased us. The only problem that I encountered was the bed was a little too hard. Hope to stay there again some time soon.

Nice hotel located perfectly between Stearns Wharf and the marina. Room layout was very simply but adequately met our needs. Continental breakfast and evening wine and cheese was a nice touch, and is included with the price.

This hotel was all we could desire and more. Apart from high-quality continental breakfast with fresh pastries, good yoghurts and good coffee and a selection of juices (and more), they offer you complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoon, as much as you can drink and eat. The bubble bath outdoors has heated water, the surroundings are beautiful […] and the room has all you need. The main street of the city with lots of restaurants and the beach are both very close. Close to beach, pier, harbour and downtown. A very comfortable hotel, clean, friendly and has a lovely pool.

All employees were courteous and helpful. The location is fantastic - right across from the beach, a couple of blocks from Stearn's Wharf & State St. Easy walk to town. We enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast, fruit/tea/coffee available 24/7, and wine/cheese/crackers by the pool from 5-7pm. The pool is heated & it and the jacuzzi are well […] maintained; ample pool-side towels provided. The rooms are kept clean. There is a TV, full shower & bath, mini-fridge, nice soaps/shampoos, bathrobes, lots of pillows. The rooms are nothing fancy, but certainly a good deal. The courtyard, the warm staff, & the complimentary food/drinks create a nice community feeling. Les mer

Had an excellent stay! Staff was very helpful. Room was nice. Hotel is right across from the beach and in walking distance from downtown Santa Barbara. Loved the complimentary continental breakfast and to make your stay there better they also have wine, cheese and crackers by the pool in the evenings! Very relaxing stay.

Very convenient, right on the Harbor, walking distance to theWharf Restaurants, Wharf and Whale watching. Enjoyed the comlimentary oatmeal and juice. Missed the promised turn down service and cookies. Beds very comfortable and a drop dead view of SB Harbor. I will be back.

My only suggestion would be that the hotel needs updating- re model.

I researched hotels in the Santa Barbara area for days and after reading reviews on West Beach Inn, finally booked it for two days. My fiance and I were completely satisfied! The staff was friendly and helpful and there was complimentary wine and cheese every night fom 5-7. The rooms were comfortable, clean and had great views of the garden and harbor. […] The greatest feauture had to be the location!!! You don't even have to drive anywhere in the city, if you don't mind walking in beautifuk weather. Every morning we walked to the harbor and pier after our complimentary breakfast. Downtown is only five minutes away if you drive, 15 if you walk. Mac's fish n chips and Holdren's steakhouse were convienently downtown and Brophy Bros on the harbor across the street. At night we walked 3 blocks to The Brewhouse and Neighborhood Bar. Safe area to walk around at night and right in the middle of everything Santa Barbara has to offer! Recommend taking a drive to wine country to Santa Ynez and Solvang. Nice drive and amazing views!!!! Can't wait to go back to Santa Barbara and stay here again!!! Les mer

When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly & knowledgable staff member who happily answered all our questions about the area & even provided us a handy map. Our room was nice & cozy. This hotel is across the street from the harbor. Very close to beach bike path and 15 minute walk to downtown state street. Room very clean, with small fridge. Grounds maintained nicely and friendly reception staff with complimentary wine and cheese from 5-7 pm.Free parking. Basic continental bkfst. I specifically booked this hotel to use the heated […] pool and hot tub. So I was very dissapointed when It wasnt working and not warm. Informed reception in the evening and the manager in the morning. Would have been nice if they had offered an apology and a discount voucher for a stay in the future. we had to upgrade to a suite in order to get a bathroom with grab bars at the commode. no luggage stand in a suite. the shower allowed water to flow over the entire bathroom floor.

We stayed at West Beach in for a long weekend Anniversary trip. The front desk was very friendly and allowed us to check in early because our room was ready. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast or wine and cheese but it was available. Wireless was free.and you can't beat the price for the location. Right across the street from the marina […] and a short walk to downtown or take the trolley. The only complaint I might make is a design point. We were in room 316, a harbor view room, and the bathroom door opened in to the sink so it was impossible to use the sink without closing the door. I get kind of claustrophobic so I prefer the door open. They could have had it swing the other way to where the coffee maker was. Also while in Santa Barbara DON'T miss Andersen's on State Street for the best pastry! Les mer

Good customer service. Rooms fairly comfortable. Air conditioning/heating unit noisy and blows air/ heat, would prefer individual thermostats. Bed comfortable, linens clean. Nice setup with coffee pot, small refrigerator. Recently redone bathroom vanity which is nice. Bathtub tiles poorly installed and not clean appearing around bathtub edges. Somewhat […] pricey, but considering location, probably to be expected. Nice wine/cheese offerings in late afternoon. Good continental breakfast, great coffee. Les mer

This was a very cute Inn. Very nice staff. We had a nice stay.

Ideal location-across st from beach, wharf, restaurant and marina. They conserve water and towels, sheets by limiting washing unless u want new ones daily. Beautiful large, jacuzzi Well Maintained exterior. Tall large queen beds Cons: -great pool and lounge area but its very open and adjacent to street traffic. no privacy; awkward. -weak bathroom fan […] so room gets humid and stuffy after shower. -the room online described by hotels.com is not the room you get. I verified this with the hotel. The Standard room does not have a balcony or views of the ocean as hotels.com confirmation dictates. :( -room tv was damaged -no late check out was possible Les mer

Small motel across from the beach and marina staff was very friendly and helpful. Walls are a little thin and this place can get a little noisey. But overall it's a very nice place great location. They have coffee / tea and fruit 24/7 and a good continental breakfast. I would stay here again, no problem.

For what you pay, you're only paying for the location near the Harbor. I would have driven an extra five-ten minutes if I knew the hotel would be poorly kept and not very comfortable. My advice, pitch a tent on the beach if convenience is your top priority. This hotel is not worth the cost.

The hotel was in a GREAT location. Right across from the wharf. The room was decorated well it just needed some upkeep. The toilet seat needed to be changed because it was chipping. Some of the wallpaper in the bathroom was ripping and the carpet could use a good cleaning. I also think they could do a better job cleaning the blinds and windows. I'm […] kinda picky like that! had requested rollaway be dwhen making reservation through hotels.com phone service, was told yes, but denied when checking in.

Very satisfied with our stay. An older hotel, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Met our needs perfectly. Convenient walking distance to shops and sites in downtown Santa Barbara. Smallish rooms but adequate and economical for a brief stay. Would certainly come back.

Everything was great but the size of the bed. It was a double bed. I found out later, they do have queen and king size beds. So make sure you get the size you want.

The hotel was in a great location for us, just off the interstate and along the beach. Well within walking distance of the pier and main restaurant street. The heater/air conditioner is in a strange place though. If it is on then it blows the curtain for the window up. But if you can deal with this, then it is a very nice stay.

Pros: Nicely updated rooms, comfortable beds, large bathroom, short walk to State Street and very close to the Wharf, almost half the cost of other places we have stayed in SB for almost the same amenities Cons: Had a room located on the first level---would hear wheeling of housekeeping carts and people's luggage during the earl morning. Wall unit […] AC/Heat---woke up very uncomfortable many times the first night since it struggle to regulate the room temperature. Les mer

Friendly staff, nice rooms, lovely beach across the road. Fantastic restaurant just steps down the road. I nice place to be in Santa Barbara. Not really walking to downtown shopping, but great beach location.

West Beach Inn - the hotel was older but the rooms had been updated. However, when you opened the small closet doors, you couldn't get into the bathroom. The safe inside of the closet could only be accessed by crawling into the closet, kneeling down and trying to see in the dark. The hotel maids were effecient, but they had carts that they cleaned the […] rooms with. When they rolled them down the outside hall, it sounded like a thud, thud, thud, but faster. I thought we were having an earthquake. The bathtub had a long black hair in the bottom. They had a clock/radio, but there were no stations available on it, except mexican music. Not too romantic. Many more choices in Santa Barbara, we will try something else next time. Les mer

This little hotel/motel is a great place for a weekend getaway, or a full week vacation in Santa Barbara. It's close to everything downtown, the waterfront, the train station, SBCC, restaurants, etc. I was only there for 1 night in town for a half marathon, and was very impressed with the quality of the place, size of the rooms, and quietness. The price […] was in the middle of the pack for properties located downtown/near the waterfront, but I think the quality of the place was more toward the top of the pack. This was my first stay at a Coast Hotel property, and I was quite impressed. They are a cut above when compared to other chain hotel/motels of this price range. Les mer
