Staff was friendly, professional & very helpful. Location is close to everything ; shopping, dining, Parks for kids & easy to get to from highways.

Whenever I stay in Rochester, I always reserve one of the Executive Suites at the Holiday Inn & Suites.It is close to shopping, restaurants and minutes to downtown. I ONLY stay at this hotel when in Rochester.

"Holiday Inn Marketplace Rochester"
Fantastic stay here. Every single employee I had contact with bent over backwards to make my stay pleasant. Everyone across the board was friendly and anxious to meet every request. Extremely clean and room was great. Pillows were even great!
"There are better Hotels around the area than this"
Its the little things that count. My remote didn't work for the TV, the place looked old, the shuttle made me late for a meeting. It was just not what I expected from a holiday inn. It seemed like a motel. Nothing really horrible but it was just not what I am used to. The Breakfast was good however; they have a guy that will make you an omelet.

We were extremely satisfied with this hotel! The staff was exceptionally helpful & friendly, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. Our room (2 queens) was big enough to fit a pack & play for our youngest.

Stayed at this property when registering our daughter at RIT. Location very convenient to all, shopping, restaurants, and RIT. Hotel staff very accommodating and helpful. Tasteful room plus warm swimming pool and exceptional breakfast with made to order omelets and very helpful staff. Elevator was a bit off kilter though.

It was a very nice place! The staff were polite and courteous, ready to answer any questions we had. Ants were all over the room and when we got home they had crawled into our luggage! Hotel only briefly apologized and thats the best we got.

We were in town for an overnight personal business trip. We booked this online. ***NOTE: We paid extra for a room with breakfast as opposed to another choice of a room without breakfast included. However, upon checking in, we were informed that breakfast is complimentary. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. No ipod dock, unfortunately and […] the radio part of the clock/radio didn't work.(I know we probably could have called housekeeping to have it replaced, but at 11 at night, who wants to bother?) Also, a personal gripe of mine, if they say room service is available, it ought to be real room service, not just menus from nearby places that will deliver. Room was clean. Great location, close to restaurants, shops, and interstate. The indoor pool was large but was not warm in the winter. The smoke detector strobe light was annoying and the heater was constantly turning on/off.

Had a king bed room, and the 4 pillows were the size of small dorm room pillows. The loud heater/fan kept going on every minute, EVEN when I put it to off. It woke us up a lot. Rooms were clean, bathroom was a little on the small side. Wireless internet was great. I was streaming NHL game center and movies from netflix and had no issues. CRT TV was outdated. "Great staff and amazing breakfast"
My mom and aunt called me twice to tell me how great the hotel was. They thought it was very clean, the staff went out of the way to make sure they had directions and knew where they were going. The breakfast (according to my mom) was very fancy and so good. They want me to book the same hotel for them on their next trip.

Overall great experience. Close to the mall and restaurants. Lots of stuff around to do and see. Loved the movie rental at the front desk for the kids. Wish more hotels thought of this. Pool was clean and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic, beautiful omelets and waffles. "one night stand"
We needed a place with complimentary shuttle from airport and would allow a late checkout and had a pool. THey met and exceeded all expectations. Friendly and accommodating staff from every perspective. Pool was clean. Breakfast was incredible.

It was an average clean modest room. However, I was rudely awoken by the cleaning staff loudly screaming "House Keeping!" at 8:00 in the morning. We had barely gotten to sleep. I was traveling alone with 3 small chilren and when I jumped out of bed to hush her. She slammed the door, and I could hear her say "Oh my gosh....and went on commenting to the […] other lady!" My two children and I had a nice experience with this hotel: clean and comfy room, nice pool, tasty Mexican food at the restaurant downstairs (good prices), fantastic breakfast buffet (included in the deal I got). Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and updated rooms. Breakfast was great. Pool was nice. Hotel is conveniently located to stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was alright - not the nicest I've stayed in but certainly not the worst. The staff was less than hospitable. My key card stopped working and I had to lug all my belongings around the building in the snow to get it reactivated. The person behind the desk said very little - most notably not apologizing for the inconvenience. This is a nice hotel wth comfy beds and other good amenities. Located near a lot of places to eat. Good staff, clean, well maintained. Has it's own restaurant and bar. Only negative thing that I can say anything about it is that the first night there the fire alarm went off about 2245 and we stood out in the cold (cool mid October night) for 30-45 minutes […] until the firemen made sure it was ok to go back to our rooms. For some reason they could not reset the alarm system and the hotel had to call someobody in from somewhere to reset the system. That reset happened at 0200 and we had to endure 10-15 minutes of the alarm going off again, but of course we needed to have the alarm functional for our own protection. I have had this happen at other hotels in the past and that is not the hotels fault when somebody smokes in their room against hotel policy which I would guess probably happened. The sprinkler system was only activated in one room and we could see water running out of the side of the building below this room. The hotel did discount our room 1/2 off for that nght. I would recommend this hotel for your stays in this area. Les mer

Perfect rooms and good breakfast. Infect the Hotel was better then what I had expected. We were driving to Toronto from NY and thats why we selected this location.

The room had many issues. The beds were uncomfortable with cheap linens. The ceiling in the bathroom was damaged. The toilet didn't flush well. The room was so small that we could barely put a crib between the beds. When checking out there was no one at the desk for about 5 minutes. The hotel is near many restaurants which was a plus. The hotel room was neat, clean, and comfortable. Since we were traveling with an infant, we especially appreciated having a microwave and refridgerator in the room. The staff was very kind and courteous. We were troubled by a chronic problem with vandalism and theft that occurs in the parking lot. We parked near the front entrance of the hotel in hopes of minimizing the risk of a break in, but then had quite a long walk, with luggage, to our room. Ett riktigt bra hotell med vänlig och hjälpsam personal och en jättebra frukost. För oss var läget perfekt men det beror ju förstås på vad syftet med vistelsen är.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par des gens chaleureux. Un hôtel des plus confortables, la chambre d'une grandeur plus qu'acceptable. Nous y avons dormi comme des bébés. Cet hôtel est bien située, proche de plusieurs restaurants, centre commercial. Vraiment nous la recommandons sans hésitation.
