Greit hotell hvis ditt eneste formål med det er å sove. Ville kanskje ikke ha reist hit på familieferie, men for en guttetur til statene er dette helt greit. Trivelig betjening og TV med uttallige amerikanske kanaler, samt noen meksikanske. I tillegg var det bussavganger rett utenfor døren og et boblebad som virkelig kommer til sin rett etter lange, solfylte dager i vestkystens kosligte by. Frokosten var ikke all verden, men man finner blant annet frokostrestauranten Denny's 100 meter unna. Alt i alt fornøyd!

Dette hotellet er på alle måter fantastisk, rommet vårt var gigantisk og servicen upåklagelig, men det koster å bo her. For eksempel legges det automatisk til 22 prosent tips til alle room service-ordre, dette i tillegg til det de tar ekstra for å levere maten. Det andre som gjør det dyrt å bo her, er at hotellet ligger så avsides til at du må belage deg på å kjøpe og spise alt du trenger, på hotellet. Et tips er derfor å ta med seg snacks og drikke fra nærmeste kolonial for å slippe å bli ruinert i minibaren.

Supert hotell med flotte rom. Vi kunne ønsket oss at det lå litt nærmere selve Santa Barbara, men vi fikk utrolig mye for pengene, så alt i alt er vi veldig fornøyd!

Vi var fornøyd. Koselig hotell og koselig uteområde å spise frokost i. Merket ikke at hotellet lå nær stor vei, og det var kort vei med bil til Santa Barbara for middag, strendene og ridetur i fjellene. For oss var det greit å kjøre bil til det vi ville, og greit alternativ siden vi ikke ville betale mye for å ligge like ved strand/storby.

Koselig lite hotell hvor vi fikk MYE for pengene. Badebasseng og boblebad, champagne på rommet når vi kom, ost og vin og så cookies og melk i lobbyen, trådløst netteverk, enkel men god frokost, hyggelig betjening og sentral beliggenhet. Vi var bare en natt, men skulle gjerne hatt tid til å være lengre..!
I truly enjoyed my stay here. Very convenient to everything I was doing and people I was visiting. Will always stay here from now on.

This was a great little inn. Staff were lovely. The room was clean and smelt lovely. Bedding very comfortable. They put on wine and cheese in afternoon and breakfast in the am. Really lovely place to stay in a lovely part of the Californian coast

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting my son. The staff are friendly and the amenities are great. Champagne in the mini fridge on arrival, bottled water replenished every day free of charge. Our room was on the small side, but more than adequate. The king bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had recently been remodeled. It's a short walk to the harbor where we had dinner. We went to the Lavender Inn for our 10th wedding anniversary, thinking it looked ok. We chose it mainly because of it's location, as we planned to walk around a lot. Not as nice as we thought. Small room and breakfast-area. The lady in the reception when we arrived was polite but not very friendly. They didn´t have any answers to the questions we had about the area. The fitnessroom at their "sisterhotel" was a joke! The breakfast very poor. There are much better places to stay at in SB!

"Beautiful Lavender Inn"
My husband and I decided to stay at the Lavender Inn for our anniversary so we would be close to activities in the morning. The lady that helped our check in around 9pm was not the happiest, I would like to assume because she was tired. The Lavender Inn is such a beautiful place to stay! The landscape of the property, the design of the building, white […] trim, just super cute! Our room was spectacular! The decor was beautiful! Lavender sachets on our pillows! I must add the wallpaper did fit the decor, but it was a tad ugly. The restroom was beautiful too. Tiled floors and shower. The towels were a bit rough. The bed... I don't know if it wasn't a good bed or what, but when we sat on the bed, it sank a lot, like we were in a hole. With every turn or movement the head board hit the wall, kind of annoying. The pillows weren't too good, bring your own. It was convenient that there was an iron and board, a hair dryer, a few hangers, a couple soaps, lotions, shampoos, a shower cap, and an alarm clock. Sadly we didn't make it to any of the little socials and the breakfast. We ate at California Pizza Kitchen on State Street, it was not worth what we paid. Our waitress was snappy, fake, and rude! She only gave me one refill, which I had to wait 20 minutes for. Their pumpkin chesse cake was disgusting too. We did a sunset sail on the Double Dolphin, it was such an amazing trip. They just sailed up to Montecito and back over 2 hours. The brochure and website make it sound super lame, but let me tell you, it's not!! I really recommend for you to do it! After our little cruise we drove over the wharf for dinner. The restaurant that the first mate recommended was super packed and was more of a bar setting, we moved onto the one next door called Moby Dick. Sounds lame too, huh? We ordered the dinner special for 2, salad or soup, a main course, and dessert. I really have never tasted such an amazing calm chowder and salmon! My side was fries, and yes they were very good. The Lavender Inn was lovely and clean. The amenities were top notch: complimentary champagne, excellent breakfast, happy hour with wine, cheese, and crackers, cookies and milk in the evening. We would highly recommend this motel.If it had a tub in the bathroom it would have been perfect!

Hotel was close to beach and downtown. Lots of extras included. Great morning continental breakfast and wine in the evening, with cookies and milk before bedtime. Bathroom recently updated, small but has boutique style amenities. Champagne in the room as greeting, would highly recommend for the price.

We stayed for 4 nights in oct 2011 and can't speak highly enough of this hotel/motel?.Forget the 2 1/2 star rating,this is every bit a 4 star.Ok there is no mini bar,does anyone use them at the prices hotels charge?,but you do get a fridge.A free bottle of champagne on arrival and free bottles of water for each guest everyday is a nice touch.A decent […] sized room comes with a superb bed,plenty of storage space and a large flat screen tv.A large walk-in shower is the highlight of a fantastic bathroom.Just outside our door was a heated pool and heated jaccussi with ample sun loungers,and the whole outside area is kept spotlessly clean,as of course is the rooms.The continental breakfast is the usual fare, with boiled eggs everyday getting a bit boring,but there is a good selection of coffees and teas,and the highlight being lots of fresh danish pastries.All the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome,and whilst i'm looking for negatives,i can't really find any,so the owners should give themselves a pat on the back.The hotel has ample parking space,and is a 3-4 min walk from the seafront with a few restaurants,and 10 mins from the main shopping area with loads of shops, bars and restaurants of all descriptions. Lovely motel, very nice grounds, comfortable room. Some complimentary water in the room would have been a welcome touch. Good continental breakfast. Not particularly convenient for downtown Santa Barbara though, with the pier and downtown (State Street) areas about 20mins walk away.

Liz upgraded us because my husband was unable to climb the stirs. From both Liz's and Carol and Jose, the best staff ever. I would never have receive the personal attention we got if we stayed at a larger hotel which is where we were planning on staying to begin with but then saw the description of Lavender at the sea and deceided to try it.
