The Merrion ligger i hjertet av Dublin, med gåavstand til Irlands nasjonale museum -arkeology og historie, Irlands nasjonalgalleri ved Merrion Square og Leinsters hus. Ikke langt unna finner du også St. Stephen's Green og Trinity College.

Koselig hotell i rolige omgivelse. Nærhet til banen til sentrum. 15min. Reise med laus til sentrum av Dublin. Baren er også treffsted for lokalbefolkningen, hyggelig. Alt virker reint. Har rektorstolen. Svømmebassenget helt prima. Hotellet ligger i et industri område, greit å komme fra flyplassen med bil, ca 20 km.

Var 5 mannlige kollegaer på tur for å oppleve den Irska kulturen og hotellet hadde en perfekt beliggenhet med gangavstand til det meste. En trivelig pub med live, Irsk folkemusikk flere genger i uken, hadde beliggenhet rett rundt hjørnet.

Fantastisk hotel med super service og kort vei til alt. Shopping, puber osv er kun noen få minutters gange unna.

Beliggenheten til Marrion var sentral til sentum. Drosjer rett på utsiden av hotellet og lett tilgang til noen av byens høydepunkt. Parker og museer. Kan virkelig anbefale hotellet til andre . Hyggelig og oppmerksomme ansatte . Fine gamle omgivelser.

The Merrion was all that it was supposed to be. a gorgeous, understated entrance into a beautiful series of great rooms that were tasteful and welcoming. the only probably is the great rooms filled up quickly! the location is perfect with walking distance to St. Stephens, Grafton St. and the DART. tons of good pubs and restaurants also within walking […] distance. the service was very good and special kudos to the concierge Daniel who goes out of his way to make your time in Dublin special and is a great asset to the hotel. "Phenomenal hotel: Class without pretense/formality"
I doubt I have ever stayed at a hotel as luxurious and comfortable as the Merrion, particularly in contrast to the Shelbourne at which we had just spent two nights. We booked the Merrion on a splurge when our flight out of Dublin was cancelled and wished we had stayed there the entire time in Dublin. We got a great rate on a room and when we arrived […] were upgraded at least two levels free. The Cellar Pub was the best food and atmosphere we experienced in Dublin. Everyone was tripping over themselves to help and guide. My only complaint would be that there was a lot of noise on the street below us that woke us up several times, but again, we were upgraded several classes and it was a weekend. Classy without being uncomfortable and stuffy. Les mer

My well travelled American wife and I stayed at The Merrion on a visit to Dublin which is my home town. She said it was one of the best hotels she has stayed at and combined the comfort you would expect from a 5 star hotel with a country house hotel ambiance and the friendlessness of a bed and breakfast. A visit by some of my family for afternoon tea […] was a delight although one afternoon tea serving of food is probably more than enough for two people. The Merrion surprised again by providing a take away bag for the left overs, which is very unusual for Dublin. We'll be back. Les mer

"Short stay at the Merrion"
From start to finish, the staff at the Merrion treated us like royalty. The hotel itself is goregous and comfortable and located in a beautiful part of the city. My one complaint was that the room was a little cold (heat took a little while to kick in) and that the first night we didnt have a blanket on top of the bed (we also fell asleep without asking […] - with their attentiveness, i am SURE they would have brought us one immediately). I've stayed here before with my late husband; this was the first time on my own. The staff is friendly and very accomodating, the hotel itself is beautiful and the location is convenient to most things in Dublin, a great walking city. The two bars are places a single woman can sit and be comfortable when ordering a drink. I mentioned on check-in that […] the trip was a present I gave myself since my 60th birthday was the next day. When I returned to my room that day, I found a plate with three elaborately decorated cupcakes and "happy birthday" spelled out in chocolate sauce, plus a card from the general manager. Just back from a long weekend the Hotel and accomodation is warn welconming and very luxurious. It is also very popular with local business so if you want a seat during the day in the lounges with the fires you need to reserve a seat which is inconvenent if you come back in and want a quick cup of tea. . Highly recommended. Great location near the most popular Dublin sights, friendly and attentive staff and the amenities one expects from a 5 star property. The restaurant was very good if rather expensive, which is typical of Ireland in general. If breakfast isn't included, there are cheaper alternatives within a block or so.

Would recommend this hotel to everyone. Right in the middle of Dublin and so convenient for all main attractions. Hotel staff were very friendly,efficient and attended to every request immediately.Our bedroom was large,comfortable,elegantly furnished and had everything you could ever need. We stayed for a week in Feb, 2011. The service was consistently the best we have ever enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived with our own coffee but no coffee maker. The hotel supplied an electric hot water kettle and a French press which we think they bought just for our use. The public areas are understated but immaculate. This hotel and its staff are wonderful! The location is ideal, the interiors elegant and aesthetic. A beautiful courtyard garden offers peaceful retreat from the city. The staff is friendly, attentive and actually impeccable. The location is within walking distance to most historic and shopping/restaurant sites and yet has a peaceful classic ambience. We stayed one night at the end of a one week trip to Ireland. We were welcomed warmly and found the physical condition of the hotel to be top notch. We got a room upgrade. Everyone at the Merrion goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly, moreso than anywhere else we've ever stayed. (Including a few other hotels in this price range) The only shortcoming was the view from our room, which was of the street--we had thought we were booked into a room with a view of the gardens (which are very nice). ダブリンを代表する老舗高級ホテルだそうですが、従業員の接客態度はとてもソフトで笑顔を絶やさず、居心地がよいホテルでした。ティールームはハイティ―をしに外から来る客で予約がかなり入っていますので、宿泊する場合でも利用する時には予約した方が良いと思います。ワイアレスWifi環境も良好でした。ルームサービスの朝食も良かったですが、40ユーロというのは少し高いかなと感じました。
