Nyoppusset hotell som ligger midt i sentrum, rett ved togstasjonen. Hyggelig og hjelpsom personale. De har visstnok ikke egen parkering men de lot oss stå på deres bussplasser. Desverre var det ikke mulig å veksle valuta selv om det står på deres hjemmeside. Tror også vi må ha fått feil rom da vi kun fikk en dyne, en pute og et håndkle, noe vi ikke la merke til før senere :) Flotte rom og svært gunstige priser. Anbefales

Polite and 100 % customer sattisfaction. Second time i use this hotel. Free Wif-fi in the entire hotel and free parking outside in the backyard (can pay extra for garage). Breakfast is not included so thats the only minus. We have a 2 year old boy and for us its important to have a close location to a playground. It was under 5 minutes of walk to a nice and big park with a big playground for kids in all ages. City train/Tram stops 100 meters from the hotel, cheap and easy to use, about 12 minutes to centrum and all the sites.

"Flott hotell med fantastisk service!"
Hotellet ligger nær sentrum. Ca 20 minutter å spasere inn til sentrum og Altstadt. 5 minutter med taxi. Taxi er billig. Servicen på hotellet var upåklagelig. Meget høflige betjening. Stort flott rom. God middag. Frokosten meget bra. Vi tok turen for å oppleve julemarkedet i Heidelberg. Julemarkedet MÅ oppleves. Gjennom mitt arbeid har jeg bodd på mange […] hoteller. "Heidelberg"
Bra hotellstandard, hvor det fra vårt rom var utsikt ut over elven. Svært bra serrvice. Frokosten var relativt gjennomsnittlig til å være et 4 stjerners hotell. Prisene i minibaren var helt absurde, hvor f.eks. 0,2 liter appelsinjus kostet 5,7 Euro, men det er ikke værre enn at en kjøper med seg drikke utenfra.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were offered an upgrade for a reasonable charge - this gave us an Executive Room with access to the Executive Lounge and its excellent facilities. However we were disappointed that wifi use was not complimentary.

I was offered an upgrade for a small daily amount to Executive room and use of the lounge. This was really very useful. Generallythe service and the whole hotel was very good and would recommend. Only slight complaint was no kettle or water heating in the executive room but easily fixed by asking house keeping to bring up some hot water. Overall, a nice room, although the bathroom had a horrible urine smell :( Also, it sounded as if the people above us were actually in our bathroom as we heard everything they were saying....

"Lovely Hotel with great staff"
Just come back from a two night break in the Marriott with friends.Its my second time to stay there and I would highly recommend it as a very clean and comfortable hotel.The staff were always friendly and willing to help with any questions asked.The breakfast was really good with a great selection of hot and cold dishes.The rooms were very clean and […] beds very comfortable,a good nights sleep was had by all.The Pinte bar is really nice and the staff there really looked after us.It was a nice bar to come back to after a days shopping and sightseeing. "The Marriott, Heidelberg"
This hotel is right on the river and onto the main street - near enough to the old town, but far enough away that the hotel that it remains peaceful. The parking is pricey, but worth it. The hotel restaurant is very good and eating on the terrace makes for a good evening. The breakfast buffet is yummy. All in all a good hotel.

"Near to old town and river"
The staff were friendly the hotel was clean. The pool was a little cold. Child friendly. The breakfast was a bit expensive.
"beware hidden costs"
Hotel staff do not always explain these costs when you first arrive eg parking in the hotel car park is 18 euros per 24 hours. Also restaurant is expensive, 21 euros for full breakfast - our most expensive in a 6 week trip covering 9 countries! Our room was above the "pub" and we were woken at 5.00 am on our first morning by the cleaners dragging furniure […] around for over an hour. Avoid these rooms if you can. Our trip to the swimming pool and sauna proved quite amusing - esp when we were joined in the sauna by 3 Germans wearing nothing but their birthday suits - normal behaviour here but a shock if you're not expecting it. On the whole, a good few days, we enjoyed the walk into town especially, but as pointed out earlier - beware the hidden costs of parking and the restaurant. Les mer

The hotel was very nice, clean and the service good. Our evening meal at the hotel restaurant was excellent in terms of both quality and sevice.

This is a nice hotel, though the air conditioning was not up to the heat when we were there. But it was fair and the rooms were very nice. However, it is inconvenient to the Altstadt. It is necessary to take a cab or bus to get there, though if it's not too hot ,you could walk it.

We always use this hotel for a one-night stop-over when driving through Germany. Service, location and not atleast the Mariott beds are fantastic.

We had a very nice stay, the hotel and restaurant were very good. The outdoor terrace is right on the riverfront. There wasn't much of interest immediately nearby, however, so we drove and parked in the old town and explored from there.
We found this hotel comfortable and the staff at reception very helpful. We ended up staying two nights, the first booked on the internet and the second negotiated with the hotel. We were charged a premium rate for the second night, which was disappointing. We also felt that the charge for wifi internet was excessive, certainly compared to other hotels […] that we stayed in. "loved hotel a pleasure to stay there"
where can i start hotel was excellent could not ask for more comfort ,breakfast was great and was more than relaxing a total pleasure to stay at this hotel and its not often i can say that, also had evening meal it was also very good. only downside was car parking charge of 18 euro a bit much and not told until departure.

The location is quite far out, at least a 20-25 minute brisk walk. The hotel is quite dated though the rooms are pleasant. Breakfast is good and the gym facilities very good. We had access to the exectutive lounge which was excellent but the lounge and bar areas were far from luxurious. Additionally, obtaining internet access and using the business […] centre was obscenely overpriced. Exchange rate offered was also a rip-off. Additionally, there were long delays at the check-out. The difference between an OK hotel and a good/great one is in the little touches. Having to pay excessively for internet and other basics puts you off. This is at best a decent 3 star hotel and a very mediocre 4 star establishment. It does not live up to the Marriott name as far as I'm concerned. I will avoid this again in the future. Les mer

I do not recommend this hotel as there are many choices for hotels in Heidelberg. The hotel is very very expensive. If you go to the local store a bottle of what is 39cents the same bottle at the hotel is 4.50 Euro This hotel is not in a good location for walking around and the cab cost is way out of line with the econony. I felt like they were stealing […] my money. Nothing was worth the cost charged at the Marriot. There are too many nice places in Heidelbergy for much less in cost. Les mer
"Terrible Service and Management - Not Worth the Money"
The rooms were not ready at check-in time and when we inquired about the status, the shift manager could not get an answer out of housekeeping. On the second day, we left for sightseeing, returned at 5pm, and the room still had not been cleaned. We had to wait an hour till it was done. Management said it was a new cleaning service, but was very unapologetic […] for trouble and made us wait for answers for too long. We had friends drive in from another city to stay in that hotel and their room still had dirty glasses and old room service food in it! The morning we checked out at 10am, the cleaning staff banged on the door at 7am as revenge. Internet service in Business Center did not work and both printers were broken. The one good employee was a bell boy (Matthias); he was apologetic on behalf of his bosses, kind, efficient, and helpful. Also, the restaurant owner prepared a special meal for the vegetarian, but it was a bit pricey. I will never stay here again and have discouraged my German friends from doing so as well. "Ich hab mein Herz in Heidelberg verloren ....."
....sehr netter Empfang!! Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service!! Hervorragendes Abendessen und Frühstück!! Die gleiche Freundlichkeit trifft man ebenfalls in der "Pinte" an.. - beim abendlichen "Absacker" ... sehr angenehm! Kleinere Abstriche im Bereich Badezimmer - älterer Standard - ..... Aber Alles in Allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!!

"Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis"
Freundlicher Empfang, guter Service. Zimmer und Bad eher klein, älteren Datums aber sauber. Hallenbad und Sauna sind wenig verlockend zum längeren Verbleib. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Alles in allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

マリオットのベッド、最高に快適でした。また食事もおいしくてとても快適な滞在でした。 受付が二人しかいなくて、チェックアウトの際、長い行列で待たないといけなかったので、状況を見て、増員してほしかった。 滞在環境としては申し分ない清潔さと快適さでした。

"Mager für Maroitt mit 4 Sternen"
Morbider Charme der frühen 80er geht ja noch, das Früstücksbuffett ist für den Preis ein Hohn. Teller wurden weggeräumt, bevor das Brötchen aufgegessen war, für Nachschub beim Kaffee musste man stattdessen warten. Rezeption bekamm es nicht hin, für jedes der gemieteten Doppelzimmer auch zwei Schlüssel freizuschalten. never again

Prima hotel , een aanrader voor iedereen. Parkeren in de buurt is bijna niet mogelijk, wel in de parkeergarage van het hotel, maar voor de hotel gast iets aan de dure kant 18 euro per dag.

"Situation moyenne, service impeccable."
Arrivé à l'hôtel, l'impression extérieure est moyenne. Une fois à l'intérieur, cela change du tout au tout. Quelques soucis pour la chambre (une chambre avec un lit kingsize n'est pas encore prête). La réceptionniste se confond en excuses. Qu'importe, il est tôt et nous partons visiter la ville, après avoir reçu un plan de la ville et des explications […] de la réceptionniste des lieux à visiter et de la situation par rapport à l'hôtel. Elle prend en charge nos bagages. Après avoir passé la journée à nous promener, nous revenons à l'hôtel, et gagnons notre chambre. Chambre de bonne taille, lit très confortable, terrasse et propreté irréprochable. Ma compagne part à la piscine de l'hôtel (ouverte 24/24) et je descend prendre un verre au bar. Service tout aussi agréable, et ma compagne ne me trouvant plus, la concierge se démène pour me localiser ;) Le lendemain bon petit déjeuner (compris), et au check out, la réceptonniste s'excuse une nouvelle fois pour le retard de la chambre. Ainsi, malgré la relative distance par rapport à la vielle ville(20-25mn à pied), l'hôtel est formidable et le service plus qu'attentionné. Une certaine chaîne d'hôtel française ferait bien de s'en inspirer. Les mer

"For personal trip.."
If you are on business, this hotel is good. But if you visit Heidelberg for leisure, this about this: Good - Good breakfast, restaurant, terrace, a variety of fitness machines and swimming pool (15-17m long), clean room. Bad: the location is far away from the old city district, and 10 min walk to hauptbahnhof, on the other hand the room is small (deluxe […] double), and hotel staff are unfriendly (except for those in restaurant), always crowded with business people in conference or something. You can't relax very well... Also the reception staff charged me breakfast fee by mistake. When I pointed it out (after waiting for a long time, there was always a long queue), they said nothing and just threw me a correct bill again. Well that's it and I'll never use this hotel again. "ganz o.k. für den Preis"
Die Lage ist nett am Neckar, man findet an der Strasse Parkplätze. Zur Stadt muss man aber das Auto nehmen, etwas weiter zu Laufen. Bei uns stand ein Babybett im Zimmer, wir meldeten direkt, das es bitte entfernt werden solle, was leider nicht geschah. Auch an der Rezeption musste man immer Schlange stehen, der Service ist etwas lahm. Sehr empfehlen […] kann ich das Frühstück, reichlich und lecker mit Blick auf den Neckar. Les mer
