På alle måter et bra hotell. Frokost og WI-FI inkl. trekker opp. Dårlig treningsrom.Ligger ved siden av et stort veisystem, og mye støy utenfor. Dog godt isolert og rolig på rommene. Bra service og hyggelig personale. Fri parkering i hotellets garasje rett ved.

"Et hotell kun for gjester med bil"
Hotellet i seg selv er greit nok til prisen, men beliggenheten kunne vel neppe vært værre; mellom en firefelts motorvei og hovedjernbanen til Washington. Støyen var veldig plagsom. Dessuten er det vanskleig å komme seg downtown uten å ta drosje. Det går en buss nesten til byen, men man må gå et godt stykke til bussen og krysse en livsfarlig motorvei. I would only recommend this hotel to individuals who know what they are getting into. The hotel is a 20 min. shuttle ride from Union Station. The shuttle was consistent and the drivers good, but it is a distance from the metro. There was no shuttle between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The neighborhood was intimidating and there were no available restaurants within […] 1/2 mi. A walk to the closest restaurant (McDonald's) was not comfortable. The hotel itself was okay and the people were friendly and were always willing to answer questions. It is located in a bad area. Not close to Union Station, it takes about 10 minutes in car. Staff friendly. The shuttle service was excellent. Simple breakfast.

I arrived at this hotel at 1AM & was promptly given a room. The room was butted up against the elevator well & was extremely poorly insulated from the elevator noise & noise of the people coming & going. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a better hotel.
"Not a pleasant hotel"
Stayed there 4 nights. First they lied to me saying is very close to the Union Station which is not. The only good thing is the shuttle service to the Union Station, and Michael (the driver) is a very nice person. He makes up for all the bad service. Breakfast is not good, very unhealthy food and if you are not there early in the morning, everything […] is gone. The telephone in the room was dead, I told the guy at the reception (who was not that friendly) and even after I left it was not fixed. The shower in the morning is always cold. "So-so"
As a business traveller, I liked (but not loved) this hotel. It's a little run-down, but the staff is friendly and the maintenance department was attentive. One of the elevators wasn't working, but they were right on it and got it taken care of right away. Good exercise room. I got the impression that they are trying to do better and better. The clientele […] were quality people; the free breakfast and free internet were HUGE bonuses. "Not really near Union Station"
This was not a bad hotel, but the heading for the hotel, "Comfort Inn, Near Union Station" is a bit misleading. It's really not all that near to Union Station, though they do have a shuttle that runs every half-hour during the day and every hour between 5 and 10 between the hotel and Union Station.

While my room was fairly recently remodeled and was clean, the hotel' public spaces are worn and tired. The neighborhood is dumpy and, most annoying of all, it is NOT near Union Station as advertised. (It was a $15 cab ride and a 20-25 minute hotel shuttle ride.
"Nice Stay for my family"
I have to say I was leary after reading some of the reviews, but we had no problem.The staff were polite esp the girl who came over and wiped off our table at breakfast before we sat down. Free Breakfast was great and had more than just bagels, toast , fruit and cereal. They also have a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and sausage […] patties. There is a small free parking garage and our room was clean. The bathroom was beautiful and very modern. Fridge and microwave worked but the flat screen tv was a little static-y. There are 2 train tracks clolsely behind the hotel. One we saw carrying older train cars ( freight) and one seemed to be a new aerodynamic ( passenger) train. We did not hear any trains while we were in our room here. We only saw them whiz by while in the parking garage. Our family would stay here again. Les mer
"DC weekend!"
Me and my boyfriend stayed at the hotel 9/17-9/19 to have a minivacation. The location was pretty great, it was really close to where we were trying to get at. The workers were always friendly and constantly busy! The front desk was hospitable as well. The hotel had a shuttle service which was convenient but they could really make it available during […] the daytime, which is when people can use it more. Had a great room, horrible view. There's a parking deck but its out of order, so parking is pretty tight if there is an event going on. Breakfast was good and front desk personnel was decent- not as helpful as I would hope they would be. "Plan carefully"
The hotel wasn't bad.....but the hotel shuttle only goes to Union Station between the hours of 7am-11am and 5pm-11pm......if you need a ride between those hours, have to taxi. Service was courteous. My camera was stolen from the lobby.......The neighborhood is kind of shady.

I stay in a lot of hotels. I have been in the worst and I have been in the best. You cant take my advice. All I need is a comfortable clean room with a good tv and some water pressure. Here's my review. A very nice hotel. It is surrounded by other hotels and railroad tracks in the rear. It is a high speed rail not very noisy but I would ask for a front […] room. There is no neighborhood around the facility but there is a parking lot that is somewhat safe and large enough for cars and trucks. Not tractor trailers though. The rooms are high end, and the air conditioner work well. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was on a scale of 1 to 10 how about a 7 so that is pretty good. The breakfast is above average and they start serving at 615 am. They mention that there was a shuttle bus that runs all the time to union station also you will be happy with everything but the price but I guess that's the going rate in town. Les mer

the name and the hotel description is totally misleading at best! This hotel is NOT near Uniion Station. They do provide shuttles but limited to morning and evening...nothing during the day. Hotel rooms/hotel shows it's advanced age. Adequate breakfast as published but not sufficient for the price. I would not stay there again.

This hotel was okay. Staff wasn't overly friendly, but not rude or in any way unhelpful. Shuttle driver was awesome. It's about 2 mi NE for Union Station, right across from a pretty shady hotel and a liquor store, haha. "Nice, but farther out than you think"
It was a very nice place to stay. There is a complimentary shuttle service to Union Station that we found out about after we took a cab there. Biggest issue is that the nearest Metro stop is a good 30 minute walk away through a sketchy neighborhood. The staffhowever, were extremely friendly and helpful!

"Horrible...."
Will never stay there again. Besides having a stinking room and bugs in the bathroom. I did not have air or heat while I was there. I notified the front desk of this fact the next morning. I returned late the next nite from work and still wasn't working. They offered to move me to another room; since it was after 10PM and me checking out the next day, […] I declined. This matter should have been either rectified during the day and they could have moved my stuff themselves if they couldn't repair. Also, take the dame Union Station out of the name! The property is over 4 miles from Union Station! This location SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Les mer

This place was terrible in so many ways.We booked in advance 3 nights for our vacation.Desk clerk rude rude rude at check-in Our A/C was not working and when we told him he acted like we were petty and bothering him.Sent a guy up for 40 minutes,then we got moved to a different room.The next room,if you turned on the desk lamp the frig,micro,tv,and a/c […] went off.Only some outlets worked and you had to be gentle or the plugs would fall out..The train tracks were right next to the building,they of course ran all night and blew horns and vibrated the building.The 2 very small elevators were slow and creaked and groaned very loudly.You could hear these from your room.Breakfast was the usual cereal,toast,danish,juice.I am not being funny here,but the shuttle to take you to Union St...Was a van missing 1 seat in the back and the other 2 were not bolted down,you had to hang on to the seat in front of you.They put too many people in at a time,people on each others laps.And no lie they had a PAINT BUCKET upside down with a pillow on it for an extra seat.Sometimes it was in the back where the seat was gone,or up front between the drivers seat and front passenger seat.I thought they were joking when they told a lady she could have the bucket seat to get on that shuttle.So she sat on an upside down paint bucket with a pillow in between the driver and the front seat.A bunch of us waited over and hour past their designated time to pick us up to return to the hotel,2 nights in a row.After lots of calls and being told they were stuck in traffic,we all realized why they left us to wait and did not care.We saw them dropping off people who had just flown into the airport.They already had us,were picking up new guests.I would sleep in my car before I stayed at this place again.Trust a seasoned traveler DO NOT STAY HERE We just spent 14 days on the road,stayed at 6 places,any other bothersome things pale compared to the experience at the Uncomfortable Inn Les mer

First time I ever stayed in Comfort Inn and Suites. Lot to recommend. Queen bed. Very ample continental breakfast with delicious belgian waffles. Free coffee in lobby. Free shuttle to Union Station which we used. Front desk personnel helpful with getting us directions. Free parking--a big plus in a big expensive city like DC. AC unit going on and off […] all night in room was a bit of a nuisance. Not the greatest neighborhood. Across the street from a homeless shelter of some sort or another. Bottom line--I would stay in a Comfort Inn and Suites again based on this experience. Had the amenities that I look for and use in a hotel and room. Les mer

This is an older building that has been remodeled in the past few years. It is in a neighborhood that not the best, but it seems to be in a transition period, so this may not always be the case. Our room was very nice and looked just like the pictures they have online. We had almost no problems with noise, only one night when we heard a child throwing […] a tantrum. Other than that the only noise we were able to hear came from the hallway - and even then it was not bad....no kids/teenagers running and yelling up and down the hallway or drunken groups....just people who were talking while walking to and from their rooms. The showers worked well as did the sink, and there was no mildew or peeling paint in the bathroom. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Union Station that runs in the mornings and afternoons, this was very handy for us since we were going to be using the Metro to get around the city. Their complimentary breakfast was standard, nothing special...it was good though. They have a smaller size parking lot, one side is open air parking and the other is a small parking garage. Overall this was a great deal and I would probably recommend this hotel to others. Les mer

OVERALL THE STAY WAS OK, ONE ELEVATOR WAS WORKING MOST OF THE STAY, OTHER STARTED ACTING UP LAST DAY OF STAY. NIEGHBORHOOD NOT ALL THAT GREAT, WOULDNT WALK IT AT NIGHT. IS CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN DC THOUGH, CAN GET TO ANY OF THE SITES WITHIN A FEW MINUTES. OK PARKING BUT GOOD FOR THE PRICE!
