Noise from other gues at odd hours of the night and morning. Doors were banging, children screaming. The room had a pungent smell of smoke and the pillows were sweaty. When we booked @ Hotel.com the room came with a breakfast, however, when we check in we were told no breakfast was associated with our room because we did not book directly through Travelodge. […] This was very disappointing to us. Our stay was close to the event. Tim Hortons was very close. There was a fenced in dog park next door and walking trails around. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was hot and plentiful.

Walls seemed very thin, because you could hear what people were saying in the next room as well as their snoring. Indoor pool wasn't as warm as expected and hot tub was always closed early. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quite clean. I miss the complimentary breakfast that the Ramada Inn used to provide before it changed to Travellodge. […] Even thou the hotel was close to the place of business, I would have rather of paid more money & stayed at a different hotel. Rooms are very small but adequate.. bathroom tiny and must shut door to use it. No ventilation. In the brochure it said microwaves in rooms. we didn't have one in our room and when we asked staff wouldn't get one for us. we brought all kinds of food for sancks and lunches for a microwave to cut down on expoenses. .

This is very much a family hotel. I was staying with my wife and teenage daughter. On the weekend we were there, was full of kids, likely hockey teams and the such. Went to spend some time in the pool / hot tub area, and it was overcrowded, mostly kids, so went down the pretty decent waterslide once and left. The pool change rooms were old and smelly, […] the pool was way too small (especially when the waterslide was being used). Probably better to visit in the summer when the outdoor pool is open. Had trouble getting to sleep as there were kids running in the halls, yelling and just being loud. Also, could hear every word from the room next door, so walls are very thin. Asked for a later check out on Sunday but were denied, citing they had many such requests, even though it looked like the hotel had pretty much cleared out by 12pm. If you are looking for a less costly stay and don't mind noise, this hotel should be fine. Otherwise, spend a bit more and find another place. We certainly won't be returning. Les mer

It's in a good location, peaceful walking distance to down town,overlooks the bay and park. Lots of parking. good size rooms. hot powerful showers. the hallways could do with a redecoration not bad but tired.overall a very good place to base yourself in the area. and a pool and gym ..

We were a little leary of the hotel having read the other ratings, but overall it was pretty good value for money. The room was well equipped and bed comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant, service was very pleasant and food tasty and fresh. We had been looking forward to the hot tub after being outside all day in January but was disappointed […] with its age and cleansiness. Kids were having a great time on the slide. They gave the same room to us as the last time we went and on that occasion we had to ask to change rooms because it was so noisy. I think this is a room they allocate to people booking through Expedia. The hotel is old and run down. The bathroom fittings in our bathroom wer old and looked dirty. There was a hole in the floor of our bedroom and dirty […] water dropped from the extractor vent in the bathroom. We were woken up on Saturday morning by someone repeatedly trying to get in the room. It was a member of hotel staff who thought the room was meant to be empty. It was a computer error but really he could'nt have knocked on the door or called instead of trying to enter the room? When challenged on this he did not apologize. In addition they had a wedding reception in the hotel on the Saturday and even though we were on the 3rd floor we could hear the words of the music being played. It was impossible to sleep. The only good thing is the view of the Bay. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from in Belleville and we wont be staying at this one again. Les mer

The shower head didn't work in our room. And because we had booked through Expedia, they couldn't "do" anything. This was a minor blip - we used the deep (and very clean) bathtub. The pools (I said pools) were a superb hit with my family. There was an indoor pool with a slide (though the slide is only open during certain times of the day), a hot tub, […] and a heated outdoor pool that is open all year. This was a big fave since we could see the bay. We would stay again! its a good halfway point for us, not too far from the 401 and reasonable rates. Warm blankets and a great view helped. Les mer

The stay was okay. We were really only in the room for the purposes of changing before our event and then sleeping after the event. One thing I can say is that we had issues with the television remote and they were very on top of things and rectified it right away. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Breakfast in the Windows Restaurant was a bit disappointing with not very friendly waitress and breakfast too greasy for my liking.

Overall my stay was good. Was disappointed with the pools and hotub. Both pools were cold and hotub was too hot and jets do not work well. Front desk staff were very helpful even called my room to ensure my room was ok. The front door is some distance from the parking lot which makes transporting baggage, etc. a little bit of a challenge. The hotel is tucked away and a little hard to locate. Beautiful views from water-side room's balcony. Room was comfortable and clean, amenities adequate. Indoor and outdoor pool. On-site business centre and restaurant.

We were well satisfied. We had a minor problem with our hire car which the staff were extremely helpful with and the maintenance man sorted. You do need a car as it is off the road some way and not convenient to walk into town from.

Too many children running around the hall way and doors keep open and close (banging door) all night long. They are under renovation as well - which is much needed. People talking outside the balcony, train track close to the room so every now and then the train will come through ..... too noisy! I could not sleep! Florida in Belleville We had hoped to stay at some hotel in Kingston making it convenient to visit Fort Henry, a couple of 1000 Island cruises and tour the area.Instead we had to settle for a Travelodge in Belleville. The wife wisely insisted any hotel we book must have plenty of amenities should we experience inclement weather on our vacation. This […] Travelodge in Belleville offered all the essential ‘niceties’ to keep me appeased if it did rain.The view from our room was spectacular. Each morning’s sunrise stirred me out of contented slumber.Our balcony overlooked the pool and decks below, the hotels lush, well maintained, manicured lawn, hedges and garden with a view of the Bay of Quinte, a marina, a forest with a paved trail leading through it, a tennis court and bikini clad woman swimming or lounging on the well-furnished deck. Vistas like I just described usually come with pricey exotic vacations to places like Florida or the Caribbean. Who would’ve thought in Ontario? This Travelodge's large heated outdoor pool is open all year! There’s even a special access way into the pool from inside the building for access in the winter. I swam every morning and worked out in their adequately equipped gym, mellowed in the dry sauna before proceeding to their restaurant for a decently complimented buffet. I needed my strength and energy for the day trips into Kingston. They also have an indoor pool with water slide. Ya I tried it out twice, when no one but the lifeguards were there. Les mer

room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Grounds are kept up. We had a view of the bay. We did not use the restaurant as we arrived late and just picked up tims on our way. They have a park entrance across from the hotel so I enjoyed a morning walk along the waterfront. A few benches to rest and enjoy the scenery. Would stay again and recommend to […] others. Les mer

Located at the bridge it is very convenient for people going to the Sandbanks. This hotel has 2 pools which makes it very practical when you want your kids to stay busy. Very nice view on the parks and marina. Good staff and service. Howerver you must drive to go the the main street for restaurants. Downsides: no microwave oven in ourrooms. Convenient location and an easy way to stay for single parents who want to visit Sand Banks Provincial Park and surrounding area. Outdoor and indoor pools (with water slide) great for kids when weather's not good outside. Beds were like wet noodles with no support and felt like feet were higher than head. We stayed at this hotel for the convenient access to PEC,,, 30 minutes to Sandbanks and easy access to the local small towns and wineries. Hotel had friendly staff, clean lobby, restaurant, pool (fun waterslide indoors) & heated outdoor pool. room itself was "cozy" with no bar fridge,,, we were happy to have brought our own electric cooler to keep snacks/drinks […] cool. Also packed a smaller travel cooler for the beach. The room was clean on the surface, but found trash under beds. Beds were comfy and slept very well (view on the marina/pool side). In fact, we would return (... not for the luxury, but for the price compared to a B&B closer to the beach). Les mer

Seems like the hotel is in a state of renovation. Our room was excellent and appears to have been renovated recently with the exemption of the bathtub. Closet doors were old style and some carpeting in the stairwell was old or non-existent. The staff was excellent; everyone was friendly and helpful.

looks lie the upper floors of the hotel are going through a renovation. the outdoor pool was dirty at 5pm and there was little to no chlorine used. great location, relatively clean, friendly staff. Did not like that the ac was not controlled in the room, I like the fan going for noice, but the ac kept going on and off. If going to Belleville will definitely […] stay again. Hotel requires updating. The lobby is the only part that has been renovated. The single elevator is terrible, slow and unreliable. Fine for a single night but wouldn't recommend for any extended period of time.

Only real issue would be to have had a buffet breakfast included in the price.Most other hotels offer this and since there is a restaurant on the premise I think this would entice clients to return in future.

I don't object to things like air conditioning not working so long as things are dealt with efficiently, but that was definitely not the case with this place. We checked in around 4pm and complained straight away about the air con. The staff initially responded by coming in and saying "I've just moved the switch so it should switch on soon" or words […] to that effect (we knew she was fobbing us off). Despite numerous phone calls over the next hour it was only when my husband went down to speak to the management that he overheard a conversation between the front desk and the cleaner that the air con was not working in much of the building. Was it too difficult to pick up the phone and tell us this? We eventually changed rooms around 9:30pm that night. Both rooms are in need of updating and the whole place feels tired. We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard for roughly the same price the night before and it was far superior. There is a pool here, but it was so busy there were no chairs available. Stay somewhere else!
