Pierview Hotel & Suites - Fort Myers Beach

Ligger supert til. Fin strand og gangavstand til spisesteder.Vanlig dobbeltrom, var veldig lite og bare dør mellom til et annet rom.... Badet veldig lite.Stressa resepsjonsarbeidere.

Vi var flere par og endel single som reiste til Fort Myers. Hotellet ligger FANTASTISK til - helt på stranden. Dette veier nesten opp for at badet var skittent og at vi ikke fikk nye håndklær før kl 19 på kvelden (etter diverse purringer). Lå nær restauranter og utesteder. Vil anbefale folk å booke rom med poolview, det koster ikke noe ekstra - men […] gav litt større rom og utsikt rett på stranden. Vi var heldig og fikk stor seng (selv om den tok nesten hele rommet), endel andre fikk 1.20 seng. Anbefaler hotellet under forutsetning av at en klarer å dusje i et ganske skittent badekar og overse div. på gulv. 10 meter fra utgang fra rom og til strand...det kan ikke måles i penger... Les mer

Its a decent hotel for the price and location. Def has some wear and tear but for me its just a place to shower and lay my head. Right on the beach. Bar next door played music so u had on beach entertainment. Close to all bars and dining. We had 3 ppl in the room and it was fine. I have stayed in many hotels and haven't had as bad an experience as my wife and I did at the pierview. When we checked in, we were greeted by a rude and overbearing woman at the front desk. She was accusing a guest of ripping his phone off the wall in his room. She said he did it because he was upset about the room rate. Next, we had to carry our […] luggage up many flights of stairs because there is no elevator. In our room, it was musty and there was black mold in our shower. There were two bed pillows on the bed and they appeared to be 30 years old. Barely enough to support your head off the matress. The matress was the most uncomfortable matress I have ever slept on. I woke up constantly through the night. Well, maybe me waking up many times during the night was due to the 1" gap at the bottom of our door where the door had rotted away. All the sound from the street was pouring into our room. The next morning, my wife asked me to pull the comforter over the side of the bed because the black stains on the side of he mattress were creeping her out. Les mer

Great location on the beach. We had a room with a parking lot view on the ground floor, and felt a little unsafe at night walking up to the door. It was a short walk around the corner to the beach, where we rented chairs with umbrella for the day. The woman who checked us in was very abrasive, but she seemed busy and the hotel was very full. The hotel looks very nice from the outside. It is right on the beach and close to a number of restaurants, etc. You can walk from place to place easily. Un-fortunately, there is a bar/grill right next door, that stays open until about 1:00 a.m. They have live music on the weekends and sing-a-longs during the week. The music usually stops between midnight […] and 12:30 a.m. It is very easily heard in your room; no problem if you go to bed late. The room was superficially clean; the floors needed scrubbing...the dirt was ground in. When I went to plug in my phone, I wish I had not pulled the nightstand out from the wall to do so. I don't think it had ever been cleaned behind there. The bathroom was bad. There were mildew stains around the tub where the caulking was; there were rust stains where the tub met the floor and there were big cracks that had been glued over on the laminate that surrounded the tub. The staff (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance) were very nice and accomodating. Maybe the other rooms were not like ours. The bathroom was particularly off-putting. It was one of the cheapest places to stay on short notice. I would ask to see the room before I would consider staying there again. Les mer

This hotel is very nice and situated close to the beach, neighboring restaurants bars, etc. and the shopping area. If I were to stay there again I would not stay unless I could get a suite. The Internet photos of this hotel must have been taken when the hotel was new. Our pool side room was dreadful, dirty, broken furniture, chipped bathtub, stuffing hanging out of chairs, knobs broken on drawers. The furniture was dirty. OK I was just there by myself so I did not worry about what my wife and kids thought so I saved some money...It was not worth the savings. Everything about this hotl was disgusting. Please don't fall for the price...for $25 more I could have had a very nice hotel. There is nothing good to say about this place. My sister and I stay at this hotel for the location of it. For a long week-end, it is perfect. You never have to drive a car. The pool looks at the beach and every restaurant / bar is very convenient. It fits our purpose perfectly!

There is no elevator so, be prepared to possibly carry your luggage to the third floor. The room was not very clean and the ice machine was not working on the third floor. I did finally find one on the first floor. The pool lounge chairs are dirty and uncomfortable. This is barely a two star "hotel". The neighboring businesses play thumping music late […] into the night. If you are looking for a good nights sleep I would not recommend The Pierview. This has more of a party atmosphere. The Hotel is in a great location, but it needs serious help and upgrading. There is mold on the tile in the Bathroom. The tub wouldn't drain at first and we had to get maintenace to help it. Would not stay here again until they remodel.

My wife and i stayed here and it was one of the dirtiest hotels we have ever stayed at. There was a huge roach. Linens were dirty. floors werent clean. Could be a nice place if they cleaned better.

Location is ideal if you want to be able to walk to just about anywhere in the heart of Ft Myers Beach. Hotel is a little antiquated, and I had the most basic of rooms which is quite outdated and could use a redo. However, location is the most important as you want to spend your time outside, and not in the room except for catch up on your sleep.

I had a lot of fun staying here. There is a very helpful and laid back staff. The beach is in your backyard. There is excellent bars and restaurants in the area.

This was the cheapest hotel in the area we wanted to stay and quickly found out why. Our rooms was about the size of a closet. The bed felt like a taco and we could hear everything that went on in the room next door.

The front desk people were nice, but the room was dirty and smelled. The furniture was old and broken. The toilet ran and ran. I was totally grossed out. Too bad because it was a great location on Ft.Myers Beach.

I was hopeful making a last-minute decision online for convenience for a charity event. Lobby welcome barely acknowledged your presence. The room is minimally small. The bed is a wooden box with ancient and disgusting mattress etc.... I slept with all the lights on hoping that nothing would come out. The Pierview is steps away to the beach as you pass their pool and deck area. I would consider the Pierview an almost all inclusive because of the location. Meaning the restauranes, bars, nightclubs, snack shacks, cigar shop, tatoos, t-shirts, shells and ice cream you can stand, all just walking distance. Location was perfect.....Rooms left something to be desired. TV was colored..red and white as opposed to black and white...I left my shoes on while walking on the rug. One sink in bathroom had cold watr, the other had hot water...Sinks and countertop were in poor condition...Didn't dare sit on bed unless comforter was folded down...I've stayed in om […] rat trap motels but this one takes first prize. We originally booked the single double bed room. When we arrived we were disgusted. The room had dirty carpets, mold in shower and sink, very smelly, frige didnt work, and the room was extremely small. It reminded me of a room from a roach motel, kind of like a Motel 6. We dumped our luggage and started to walk around the hotel and peeked into other […] rooms and realized that the single KING bed rooms were alot better. We decided to pay the extra amount and change our rooms. We felt alot better and by making that small change it made our stay alot happier. There was tile floors, comfortable bed, fridge worked and the room was HUGE. Overall the stay was GREAT and the location is walking distance to the beach. Literally 10 steps away from the water. The beach is right outside your door. The location is excellent. The housekeeping service is something to be desired. We stayed there 2 nights and only had 3 towels. When we went to the office they said that we had to wait for housekeeping, which was another 40 mins and when they finally arrived I went to 3 different people and not one of them had clean […] towels!!! If you are looking for clean...stay somewhere else...it is a lot run down...would not stay there again and i spend a lot of time in ft. myers beach

There was no available parking for guests checking in. The spaces are RENTED in the morning to Beach goers... The carpet is scuzzzy, with black mold on the ceiling, shower curtain & grout.... The bed springs felt like they were going to impale us !!!! I would NOT GO BACK if the room was FREE>>>>

Horrible. No towels for two days. No housekeeping for two days. Rotting bathtub grout. Rude customer service. Pool closed often as it is dirty and green. Man slept outside our room, we had to call to move him to open door.

I think the hotel needs a complete repair and also a change in furniture, mattresses and carpets, because the hotel is well placed to be in such poor condition. I also think that they should pick better staff working in front desk. The carpet in my room was quite dirty and very musty smell. Paper toilet were missing and hygiene items too. This is certainly not a luxury hotel by any means but it was just fine for a nice 4 day stay. It is right on the water and in the perfect location to walk to everything. Our first room had a few problems so they switched us to another room and it was fine. I believe it might be under new ownership and they are doing some remodeling. I had been there before, a couple of years ago, it was kind of dirty back then, supposedely it was under new management, but the room was still dirty and the bathroom had mold and under the beds where very dirty. the staff are very nice and freindly.

Best deal for the price. Right on the beach with a pool. Next to restaurants and all the action. You can pay more for less. Give it a try if you're on a budget.

overall the room did its job, a bed to sleep in, all we needed. But it was the smallest room I have EVER stayed in and to get in the bath/shower you had to shut the bathroom door.

The walls are paper thin! I heard every activity that the neighbors did. I even heard all of the commotion on the streets at 3 am. When you sit on the bed, the other half would fly up, so we learned the art of synchronized sitting. Not recommended.

We only stayed here one night because of the location of the hotel and we were getting on the ferry to key west the next morning. First of all, they charge you a resort fee of $10. We asked for a wake up call only to get to our room and realize that there is no phone. The bathroom had mold in the shower and the whole room smelled like mold. The location of this hotel is excellent - right on the beach &, if your room has a pool view you will also see stunning sunsets! Ideal spot for a few days chilling on the beach. Awesome place for the money.I stay here 1 or 2 times a yaer.Very close to shops,places to eat and several nice bars( one really cool tiki bar next door).You can park your car and walk to all the places near by.The beach is right at the hotel .

I didn't realize that this hotel was in the middle of Party Central. If you are looking for a wild time, this is the place to be. Two drunk people were trying to get into my room at 2:00 in the morning because they didn't know where their room was. The hotel staff was very nice, though, and got us into our room early. Great location on the beach. Have to rent beach chairs though. Hotel is old and rooms are pretty ugly. Pool is small and was cloudy. The price was right though! Only stay here if you can't afford better hotel.

Close to and right in the best location. Needed updating but, we didnt care. I would used tile floors instead of trying to keep carpet clean on the beach. Staff was fine. lobby staff were not overly friendly but answered all questions. We really enjoyed our stay and the price was great.

Rooms are dirty, awful never cleaned bathtun/shower, floors, have to wear shoes at all time. Box spring in mattress has mold up mattres. Left first thing in morning- SAY AWAY FROM HERE

This was the smallest room I have ever stayed in. The springs in the bed were not comfortable as well as being about 18 inches tall. I wont stay there again.
