Trengte èn natt i forbindelse med å skulle reise på cruise. Hotellet ligger like ved både flyplassen og cruisehavnen, slik at det kun er snakk om en liten drosjetur til 10-15 dollar, samt at hotellet har shuttle til havnen som ligger på ca 5 dollar pr snute, kjørt til riktig skip. Det at hotellet ligger rett ved flyplassen merker man ikke stort til hva gjelder støy. Det eneste som er å utsette er lokasjonen i forhold til f.eks spisesteder og butikker, som gjør at man er avhenging av å kjøre/bli kjørt til butikk eller restaurant, da det er et greit stykke til forts. Men dette koster ikke akkurat mange dollarene.. Dette var mitt andre opphold på dette hotellet, og kommer trolig til å bo her også neste gang jeg er i byen i samme ærend :)

Vi overnattet en natt på Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale før cruise. Hotellet tilfredsstillte alle våre forhåpninger som et precruise hotell. God service, stort og flott rom med salong og hav/havn-utsikt. Beliggenheten var også veldig bra. 5 min til cruisehavnen (med taxi), 5 min til enden av Las Olas Blvd og like inntil stranda. Bor gjerne på dette hotellet ved en senere anledning. Anbefales!

Gjenkjennbar Best Western standard på rommet, nylig oppusset rom, grei frokost. Hotellet ligger like ved avkjøring fra motorvei og skulle være lett å finne, men på grunn av oppmerksomhet om trafikken kjørte vi forbi, og måtte lete litt.

All rooms have free WIFI and are clean and welcoming. Have a pool bar, jacuzzi, and gym. Excellent located, with department stores, drogs stores and gas station on the same avenue. Recommend.
"Fabulous two nights"
I recomend this hotel for anyone thats visiting the area. Its less than thirty mins away from Miami beach, south beach, and seconds away from restaurants and stores. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and courteous. I truly enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was nice. I plan to return real soon.

Old facility - needs updated
The hostess in the dining room was very rude and belittling to my daughter and I. The bathroom sink needed a washer. When I turned it on water sprayed all over my raw silk blouse. I reported it to mngmt right away but nothing was done. I had to call again and it was fixed the next day. This hotel is in an industrial park section of a small town adjacient to Fort Lauderdale and not close to the beach and/or other attractions in the area. There is only one restaurant in the vicinity besides a fast food place and travel is difficult as there are many lights and one way streets. One must drive a distance to find food, attractions and […] entertainment. It is also not close to the airport and there is no ground transportation available. The hotel staff is courteous but not very friendly. The pool and tiki bar are the best features in this hotel and seem the best maintained of all the grounds. The restaurant in the hotel is buffet only and has limited hours. I would not recommend this hotel to friends. Les mer

The hotel is pretty good and the neighborhood is ok (it has a lot of restaurants, snack bars, gas station)! The employess are very attentive and friendly! The hotel's restaurant surprised me, because it serves great food (for just US$ 9,00 the buffet)! But I found 2 cockroaches in my room, in the 4th day, so I stayed very disappointed with the cleanliness. […] Negative point! But I still recommend it. Les mer

Decor was a little dated but had Pool,Tennis courts,fitness room. Room was clean,comfortable. Nice chairs but they had plastic covers. Overall, great for the price. Easy access to interstate to get to Airport, took about 20 min. Stayed before and after a cruise. "Ramada on SR-7"
I was very disapointed when I called to reserve the hotel room, luckaly I had the funds on my debit card at the time cause the charged my card when they were only to reserve it. When we checked in the charged my card again for incadentals and they have yet refunded me the money. They told me that they didnot charge me. The pastry idems that they had […] for breakfast was dryed out and they didn't have much to choose from. I have had better Hotel expierence with the lower chain of hotels. Les mer

"Got what I paid for."
I was looking for a relatively low priced hotel that wasn't a dump so I didn't have huge expectations. The staff is helpful and friendly. Hotel is next to a trailer park in a neighborhood I wouldn't want to roam around too much. Hotel is older and could use a renovation. Continental breakfast was standard fare of cereals, toast, juices, and danish. […] kitchenette sink had a leaky faucet and I had to stick a hand towel in the sink to reduce the dripping noise. Key card to room expired 3 times in 7 days I was there and I was on the far end of the hotel so it was a hassle when I couldn't get into my room. Hotel was a ways away from beach and downtown, but again price was a factor so I did the driving. Florida Welcome center was on the property and 4 days in a row they stuck a flyer under my door saying I could get a prize by stopping by. It turns out the welcome center is really a front for a time share scheme and when I told them I was alone the guy blew me off because they wanted my wife there to be able to go to the presentation. I didn't get the supposed gift either. If you want to find a nice restaurant I also recommend the Boston Market at 1781 E. Commerce about 3-4 miles from the Ramada. There's another Boston Market on the way, but I recommend the 1781 one. Great food, reasonable prices, and the friendliest, helpful workers I've ever had at a "fast food" restaurant. And it's on the way to downtown or the beaches. One other thing, it looks like all hotels in this area charge a "resort fee" that you don't find out about until you check in or check out. It's an extra $25 a day, but I had Motels.com get a confirmation that I would not have to pay the resort fee and I confirmed it when checking in and did not have to pay the fee when I left. If you don't mind being a ways from downtown or beaches and are looking for an inexpensive place I'd recommend this place. Les mer

"GREAT PLACE TO STAY"
When we arrived, it was so mobbed, we couldn't check in, so we went away and came back later. The room was wonderful...HUGE, clean, quiet...wonderful. The pool area was lovely and had a bar right next to the hot tub. My husband has a very bad back, so we made good use of the hot tub. The people who worked there were wonferful and friendly and helpful. […] We loved it and would stay there again & again. The neighborhood was fine during the day, but I would not be out there alone at night. Overall...I can't say enough good things about the Ramada... Les mer

"Suitable stay"
The stay was suitable enough for my needs. If you simply want a clean, simple place to stay with easy access to the FL turnpike, this is a good locaction. Room was simple: decent bed, standard 27" TV, two armchairs. PROS: - Easy access to FL turnpike. - Close to nice, higher end retail locations & restaurants. (approx. 10 min drive, w/in 5-8 miles) - […] Room cost was adequate for room location/conditions. - Nice pool & jacuzzi w/ suprising tiki bar. - Staff was attentive & pleasant once you break the ice. CONS: - Neighboorhood looks a little rough but it's really not bad. - I went during Spring Break so it was a little loud. - Room/hotel was a little older & it showed. - Restaurant breakfast was not worth the cost. - I was charged for drinks I didn't consume but management took care of it immediately. (just check your bill - management attention was actually a plus "PRO") - Room A/C was fair & a little on the loud side. All in all, it was a decent stay for the price. If need be, I would stay again if I couldn't find something with a competitive price. Les mer

The staff such as the front desk were poorly trained or allowed to be a bit irrigant. The staf in general were not very pleasant. Hotel is OK in every other area, just not very uplifting

They lost my reservation. The desk clerk said she would go in the back to look for any fax since the reservation was made that day. She came out over 30 minutes later saying she had found it right away. What was she doing for those 30 minutes? Also, they don't tell you that the free breakfast is only free if you don't want to eat.

The facilities here are extremely nice...outdoor tennis courts, swimming pool, tiki hut bar, restaurant, etc. The rooms are real nice too, but could use a deep cleaning.

The hotel was obviously older, but the staff was very helpful, the linens were clean, the mattresses and pillows were comfortable. We were not looking for luxury or 4 star ... just needed a clean, comfortable, affordable choice until we could get into our time-share ... perfect choice!

I was disappointed after getting good reviews of the hotel I changed from my hotel. On arrival, the room had a smell, carpet was wet and the toilet wasn't flushing. After two complaints and attempts to fix the toilet, I asked for another room. Was told they had no other rooms, after a few hours the tub was clogged. Hotel room was a nice size and clean. Services were good. No refrigerator just an ice bucket. Hallway smelled really bad of mildew but once inside room it was fine. We had to relocate our room mid stay as the carpets were soaked from a unknown source. I would stay again but if you want first class check out THE ATLANTIC HOTEL SPA. Well I stayed there for 5 days with a companion and during my stay it was enjoyable ,the room was clean , comfortable as were the facilities offered at the hotel. The ONE major Negative about my being there was when I went to check out..the Desk attendant said I had to PAY an additional fee for some kind of tourist or something like that of 10 dollars […] a day..Something that was neither mentioned to me when i made the reservation via hotels.com nor on my intinerary n billing from the onset..Neither did the hotel bother to tell Me when i arrived that ,,,"oh by the way you will incurr and additional 10 dollars a day fee for the lenght of time am here at the hotel" I argued the point but they said they had the right to charge that..stating that in my intinerary it stated the the cost of the hotel might not include additional fees that I might have to pay once I am at the hotel.....BUT I WAS NOT INFORMED WHEN I ARRIVED ABOUT THIS<,and I felt I should have been or told of this BEFORE my arrival,,, I WOULD have selected a place closer Les mer

Room was clean pool and jacuzzi excellent...Friendly Staff..Breakfast in the restaurant needs a better management...Instead of having all the ppl in the waiting area I would suggest that at the time of reservation you require a breakfast seating time as well.. just a thought ...

This hotel has several issues. The room lacked a small desk for computer, the refrigerator was missing, wall plug was inoperable, tv was old and had few channels, and there was no microwave. The hallway had old, musty carpet in it. The breakfast host was a little inconsiderate or acted like she didn't care about her job. Beds however were comfortable […] and maintenance stafff were prompt in fixing fallen curtain rod and bathroom faucet that was only trickling out. The neighborhood made you feel a little uneasy like there were homeless and thugs always walking around ESP at night. I probably will never visit Ft Lauddie again because people are for most part rude and drivers are very aggressive in nature. Les mer

The carpet was very dirty I understand the building was old. the free breakfast was fair they waitress was nice I see the girls cleaning the rooms were real busy trying to turn the rooms over as fast as they could. I left a nice tip. But I will not stay there again. The spray they used to freshin the place was aweful.
