På alle måter et bra hotell. Frokost og WI-FI inkl. trekker opp. Dårlig treningsrom.Ligger ved siden av et stort veisystem, og mye støy utenfor. Dog godt isolert og rolig på rommene. Bra service og hyggelig personale. Fri parkering i hotellets garasje rett ved.

The room itself was very nice, but there were a few issues that made the experience less than excellent. Our truck was "too large" for the hotel's parking, so we were sent to park at another hotel 3 blocks away (for $30 a night). Our room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking Vermont. The noise was constant, and especially bad Saturday night and beginning […] again early each morning. There also was a dog somewhere in the hotel that barked non stop whenever its owners left. Breakfast each morning was quite good, but very crowded and we had to wait for silverware, a place to sit, and food each day. Now that I know, I would probably stay at the Marriott closer to the center of town next time. Les mer

Very friendly staff. Real problems at breakfast and manager's reception. Long waits in line, Food ran out and had to be constantly replenished while people waited. They need more staff for breakfast and manager's reception. Also, it seemed like housekeeping staff tried to get away with not cleaning room if you were staying the next day. Breakfast buffet options were excellent. Location was perfect for us. Close to Metro station. Easy walk to the White House. We enjoy walking so we walked to the Capital building and the Lincoln Memorial from our hotel. Would be a long walk for kids but only 2 blocks to the metro station. Felt safe walking at night. hotel was about 2-3 blocks from McPherson Square METRO stop. no problems with lugging our stuff to the hotel. in case you tend to get lost in the concrete jungle, here's a tip: using the statue in the middle of the small McPherson Square, the head points directly at the METRO entrance, while the tail points directly at the hotel entrance. room was […] comfortable. not made known on their website nor here is that the dinner reception occurs on mondays, tuesdays, and wednesdays. food was satisfactory but helps if you are on a smaller budget in DC. daily breakfast was good. studio room was spacious and quiet. "Washington, DC Marriott Residence Inn"
Excellent location, safe neighborhood, great for walking. I was particularly satisfied with the high shower head. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional with fruit, hot food, and oatmeal. Free wi-fi was sluggish. Overall, highly recommended.

This was a reasonably priced hotel suite for the couple of days my family was in D.C. for a quick sightseeing trip. Hotel was very convenient to the McPherson Square Metro station, and offered the usual perks of a Residence Inn - large suite with kitchen, complimentary breakfast and "evening meal", and this one had the benefit of a great front desk […] staff who were very helpful. The only poor part was the sleeping - the beds and pillows in our room were terrible; my 9-year old daughter even complained of back pain after the second night. If you're only staying for a night or two this hotel is OK, but if you need an extended stay or have back problems, you might want to think twice about staying in this hotel. Les mer

"A convienent place to stay in D.C."
The location downtown is good and the valet service is needed, as there is no parking in the area. The area around the hotel is okay, but does not give you a very secure feeling. The receptionists were very friendly and provided prompt and good service. The room was clean and very well equipped with a nice big kitchen area. Very inviting for people […] who might want to stay longer in D.C. The bathroom was small, but clean and neat. The only things which would need more attention was the light in the bathroom, which was not working well and the shower feature. Hot water was available right away. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked and all guests seem to enjoy it. My suggestion for weekends, serve a little longer than 10 am, as the breakfast place was crowded at 9.30 and guests were waiting for seats. Thanks for this nice stay. Best regards, Petra Les mer

Highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the DC area. The hotel was perfectly clean in the common areas and rooms. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We had the complimentary breakfast each morning and everything was high quality and fresh. The room was very large and roomy and was updated beautifully and the bed was extremely […] comfortable. There was a couch, desk, breakfast table with chairs, kitchen with full size refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, and silverware. The price was great and we would highly recommend. If you need to take the train, the closest station was about 2 blocks away, which was very convenient. Also, if you want to walk, it's not terribly far to the museums. It's also convenient that there is a CVS right next door so you can pick up anything you may need or forgot to bring with you. It's a 5 STAR! Les mer

The room was very clean and comfortable although my room was located over a 24 hour CVS and a tractor trailor was unloading until after 11:00 PM. I found the staff acommodating. Great breakfast and a safe neighborhood. I would stay there again!
"Perfectly adequate"
I've stayed here several times while traveling on business nearby. The hotel is nothing fancy, but the rooms are generally clean, quiet, and spacious. I woudn't recommend the place for leisure travel -- it's a bit sparse, and there's no real character -- but if you're going to be away from home for a few days, this more than fits the bill.

"Great Weekend Getaway"
Took my 18 yo daughter and her friend to DC for a long weekend. The Residence Inn was great! Stayed in the 1 bdrm suite with 1Q bed and sleeper sofa. The suite had a kitchen with stove, microwave, full size fridge, sink, dishwasher and everything we needed to prepare and serve our meals. Breakfast was comp. and it was delicious with lots of variety! […] We loved it and would stay there again!! It's close to the Metro and you can walk to the National Mall in about 10-15 minutes. The neighborhood was safe, we took nightly walks, White House just around the corner! Thank you Marriott! Les mer

The room was large and very comfortable and the 24 hour CVS next door was very convenient and the free breakfast was one of the best I've seen. A bit of a walk but doable to all of the main tourist attractions. The best part was the staff! They were extremely friendly and recommended places to go every day. This place is VERY NICE!!! We had our own kitchen, stove & granite counter-tops. Very large rooms (and we stayed in the cheapest room). We arrived with a (well behaved)100lbs. German Shepherd. Nobody said a word or got weird with us. Also, on the ground floor there is a 24hour pharmacy where you can stock your frig with fluids and or groceries to make […] your own meals. My husband and I stayed at the Residence Inn for a quick weekend getaway. We had a great time. Pros-- Close to everything. Mass transit within easy walking distance. A mile from the sites if you choose to walk in the sweltering heat. Free buffet breakfast-- It had many choices. Next time we stay we will go during the week when they have buffet dinner […] as well. Room was super comfortable, big, and spotlessly clean. Cons-- Breakfast selection. Would love to see some bacon, ham, or other meat choices besides the greasy sausage. This hotel was very conveniently located. When we got tired of walking, the Metro station was only a couple of blocks away. The CVS right next door was extremely convenient. The staff was always very pleasant. The free breakfast was awesome- tons of selections and even hot food. We won't cinsider staying anywhere else if we return to DC.

Location is good, not too long of a walk from Mall or White House. We booked 2 rooms, in one of them, the AC wasn't working good enough so the room remained warm. Found puddles of water on the room floor in both rooms. The sleeper sofa mattress was way too worn out, not sleep worthy for adults or anyone but young kids On the positive note, breakfast […] was really good (and free for 2 per room). We stayed here for a few nights in late June. Hotel is close to attractions and the metro. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had no problems. Full kitchens, CVS right next door which is open 24 hrs. Everything is within walking distance. Good selection of restaurants in nearby area. Great breakfast.

Close to the White House. We try to stay at the Residence Inn while traveling to give us a "home" feel. The staff at this location are extremely friendly and helpful. They will do their best to insure your stay away from home is a fantastic experience.

The hotel was excellent with a full breakfast every day of the week and a free dinner 3 nights a week which helped our budget. Would have liked a few more amenities such as a gift shop and a bar but there were stores with in 1 block. We would certainly stay there again.
