The Residence Inn was in the process of completing a renovation. There was no dresser in the suite. When I questioned the main desk, I was told the dressers were on order and there was nothing they could do. It was difficult unpacking a week's worth of clothing for 2 people and finding space to put it all.

Hotel was convenient, clean, and had a beautiful pool. Breakfast fine, hotel employees very friendly. Did not like set up of room into bathroom. Had lights shining in face if you were in bed. Other than that, it was a great stay.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last three years for a 3-4 day getaway in February. Our grandson loves the free breakfast, the putting green right off the breakfast area patio where he can putt while adults alternate eating and putting, the tennis court, the pool, and the Applebees next door. The adults love the two bedroom suites, the relaxed […] and uncrowded atmosphere, the proximity to desert hiking trails and museums, and the restaurant Pizza Villagio within walking distance. A Ralph's grocery and a very nice restaurant, Cork Tree, are also close by. Miles of uncrowded sidewalks for walking or bike riding right out the door. The staff is always extremely friendly! We were pleased with our room and service and would stay there again.The sofa bed was uncomfortable for the third person so that was the only issue. They serve amazing breakfasts .Our room backed on to the gulf course so we had a lovely view.

Itv was very good except TV reception wasn't great and a couple of networks kept shutting down. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.

We stayed at this Hotel as part of a Westjet vacation package and found that the service was really good, Staff were very pleasaing ready and willing to help. The complimentary evening Social time and the complimentary the breakfast was very good also the facilities were very nice . First, the stove was not working. Turned out it hadn't been put back together right after being cleaned. Next the toilet overflowed and wouldn't stop. Besides these problems the first night, the room was pleasant for the three days we stayed. We planned on having their breakfast at 6:30am all three days after reading reviews here. We (fam of 5) around 7pm after about a 7hr hike from Las Vegas, our mistake took a few wrong turns so you can imagine what 3 kids were like! I jumped out of car and ran in with mobile instead of wallet! I was confronted with a chick on reception (who pointed out her name was spelt with an "e", presumably so I would get it correct in the complaint letter) […] who couldn't smile and was really rude. Other than that the rooms were really clean, great size brilliant for a family of 5 and if it wasn't in Palm Desert (mistake on our behalf) it would have been brilliant. Buffet breakfast very very ordinary but filled the hole! The place around the corner Courtyard - owned by the same peeps seemed really nice and the guys on reception were much much better! Les mer

Perfect getaway: roomy, comfortable, delicious breakfast! Close to all attractions and magnificent golf courses. Will stay there again!

Attendents were not very friendly. The yard was very poorly keept. There was no soap in the main bathroom. Breakfast was basically zero. I will never go back.

Really can't go wrong staying at this Hotel; it exceeded expectations in all areas. Great place to just relax or as a Golf destination. You won't be disappointed.

We had a very comfortable stay at the residence inn. We has the 2 bedroom suite, 2 baths, kitchen, dining and living room. Much more privacy then just a one room with 2 beds, and the price was just a little higher. We took our 2 dogs and being on the first floor with grassy areas everywhere made it so easy. The buffet breakfast save us money and time. […] The pool, tennis courts, basketball court, and putting green kept the kids busy. It was only 20 minutes to Soak City and 10 mins to Westfield mall. I always like a Residence Inn, with the breakfast and evening meal/snack, and this location did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, and the location was close to food stores and other needs.

The service was great and everything was fine for a weekend of shopping for the family. We were comfortable in the 2 bedroom suite and it's convenience to have a full kitchen for the kids.

I stayed in one of the 'studios' which is still quite large during Coachella. It was great. It's clean, everything is super convenient, there was even an a/c vent directly over the bed - pretty nice when it's 110 outside! The free breakfast was also good. I would gladly stay here again.

This is our second stay at this hotel. It is perfect for our extended family of grandparents, parents, and one 9 year old. We love the free breakfasts (we have stayed on weekends), wi-fi, putting green, tennis courts, basketball courts - all complimentary. There are free drinks during the day as well. The office personnel are wonderfully friendly and […] nice. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath suite - with sofa bed in living area, had 3 big flat screen TVs, a full kitchen, and a large balcony. There are several good restaurants within walking distance - one chain restaurant right next door. The location can't be beat. We hiked in Joshua Tree one day, had dinner in Palm Desert, and went to the Living Desert Museum the next day. Costco is within a mile or two! We plan on making this our hotel of choice when we visit the desert. Les mer

My fiance and I were in Palm Springs and Palm Desert got the New Years holiday, and stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn - Palm Desert. Loved it!!! Clean, nice bedding, great night sleep. We liked it because of the condominium type setting it was. Would definately stay again.

Four of us enjoyed the last week at the Marriott Residence Inn in Palm Desert, CA this past week. We enjoyed great value, a great location and having breakfast available daily sure helped with our different preferences of both what to eat and when to eat. We enjoyed spending time at the pool/hot tubs - the only recommendation there would be to have […] a staff member responsible to sweep the deck every morning. Although the little bunnies on the grounds are adorable, they do leave little 'presents' that could easily be swept away. Otherwise, I have nothing but praise for the staff and the facility. Room was clean and spacious. Room also had full size fridge so that I could buy beverages and snacks from the local grocery store and not have to worry about having spend all my money on vending machines. Free breakfast was excellent both days I ate it. Missed some of the other free opportunities the hotel offered. Maybe next time.

Our stay was very pleasant. We liked to have the pool to ourselves in the evenings.... We liked watching the roadrunners and bunnies. My only negative comment is the hotel charged my credit card for our stay even though we had already paid for a package. I called Expedia and my credit card was credited.

excellent quality for the price. Friendly and efficient personnel, responsive to all our needs. Good breakfast with lots of healthy choices. Pool area clean, plenty of towels and drinking water. Spacious 2 bedrm suite with full kitchen, 2 full bathrms and 3 TVs!! Would definitely return.

Stayed at this hotel for business. I was very comfortable during my visit. The room felt like I was staying in an apartment. Hotel provided dish towels, cooking supplies, etc and even provided dishwasher detergent. The only two complaints I have are: no ice machine for guests and breakfast wasn't ready until 6:30. This hotel had a good location was well maintained and the staff was very curteous and professional. There was a small issue when I arrived in my room and the general manager was quick to fix the issue and make sure we were comfortable in our room. We had a good experience. Arrived early and they allowed us to check-in. It is a family friendly place and the breakfast was good. It beats driving around with the kids looking for a place to eat.

Ck in took no time at all, same with ck out, best ever. Room was very nice, had been updated recently and the full kitchen was well stocked and ready to go, the bed is outstanding foam and the bath was also fine. The free morning breakfast was one of the better we have had anywhere. Have stayed here twice before and well stay again.

Everything was great! The rooms were good size. TV's in each room. We needed extra towels and pillows and they were delivered within 20 minutes of our request. The breakfast was the best. We look forward to staying here again next year!

Residence Inn is a great value. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Large Flat Screen TVs are a plus as well. Would like to see more changes at breakfast for longer stays but it's included with the room and they do have good choices. I have stayed at this one several times and would again in the future.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and a good price for a family. We will definitely stay here again. The only part that could be improved is the breakfast. There wasn't any meat (bacon, sausage, etc.) and everything tasted like it was nuked. Skip the breakfast unless you're stranded without a car.
