Vi bodde 5 dager på dette hotellet. Rommet har atkomst fra svalgang og er av vanlig amerikansk standard. Hotellet er beliggende i annen rekke fra stranden, litt langt mot nord, men med hyggelige omgivelser. Bassenget er lite for voksne, men ok for mindre barn. Rommet inneholder mikrobølgeovn og kjøleskap, men det er dårlige muligheter for å spise på rommet.

Det var stor forsell på rommene vi fikk. Det ene var ok på alle måter, mens det andre hadde en inngangsdør som så vidt lot seg åpne og lukke. Og i gangen var det litt dårlig lukt, samt at det ikke var særlig varmt på badet. Rommene er utstyrt med lokalt aircondisionagregat, og dtte medfører endel støy. Videre virker restaurant og bar "litt kalde" og ikke så alt for trivelige. Et pluss for gode senger og masse puter for dem som liker dette.

Hotellet har en fin beliggenhet nede ved sjøkanten og i direkte forbindelse med et fint gangsystem langs bryggene, og samtidig nært til Norfolks trivelige bysentrum. Betjeningen er hyggelig og hjelpsom.

Our stay was nice, the only problem was the key was programmed to lock out after attempting to get in the room. So if you didnt slide the key in correctly you had to go back up front to get a new one, which was a bit of a hassle. Other than that, the Virginia beach boardwalk was like 10 mins away, we had a great trip!
My stay was good. The room look to be newly remodeled which was a welcomed surprise.

"Military Vacation"
I stayed here while visiting my husband at Naval Station Norfolk. It was a reasonable distance from the hotel, but with the morning traffic it took over an hour and a half to get from the hotel to the base. the room was very clean. No odd stains or odors. The continental breakfast consisted of only doughnuts, but that wasn't really an issue. It was […] also a nice distance from the city. It was quiet, clean and affordable. This was a super nice hotel for the money. I rented two rooms for the same price that others were charging for one. The rooms were both very clean and nicely furnished. I would highly recommend this hotel to other families. I will stay here again when I am in the Virginia Beach area.

"It's not bad for this time off the year"
Hotel was clean but it's a was a little outdated and the bed was not very comfortable and u can hear what's going on in the rooms beside you, but for a last minute thing and all other rooms 200 and up you couldn't beat the price. Pool was clean. Not close to many attractions but is the midway point between alot of want to go places

"Clean, basic room"
The hotel was decent. Clean room. My problem was a loud air conditioning unit. Very basic set up and therefore a bit over priced based on the amenities included. I would stay again.

Overall, the hotel was good for the price. However, the matress was really bad. It felt and sounded like the springs were going to literally pop out of the matress. We did not have a good night sleep. We dreaming about our mattress at home. Also my first encounter with the hotel staff was not pleasent. Customer service needs to be better. They need to close this hotel and remodel the all place I ask for non smoking room they have none at the time even when I made reservations I ask for non smoking . The cleck tell me he have one king room that he can spray so the smell is gone to give him 10 min to set it up . Ok we got to the room the smell was do much that I have to leave the door […] open for that spray to go away but did not work. The carpet was no good,pillows not good at all the lamp was full of rust towels was like sand paper they only give you shampoo no conditioner when I ask they said they have none and the door for the room did not close easy I have to keep pulling hard to close Les mer

i was not satisfied with where i stayed , i was not where the person said that i would be staying , it was too far from the beach , this was the first time that i did not see the beach , my son and i had too find other things to do , i paid over or close to $ 200 usd in cab fee , i will not stay there again .

The hotel was nice for the price that we had paid for it. The only thing I can say is the bed could've been a little more comfortable and when they came in to make up the bed they took out some of the trash other than this McDonald's bag that was full of trash

We travelled from Florida an rrived a little early for check -in. I advised th clerk that we were exhausted from driving through the night and if it would be possible to check into our room a little early so we could rest and shower up. Our rooms were empty so this should not have been a problem. I was told we could not check in early, BUT for an extra […] $52,99 they would allow us an early check - in. I was very upset over this. it was clear that they only wanted extra money and could care less about us, their guests. This hotel was so nasty that I left to go somewhere else. There were buggers on the walls and the place was very dirty.
"Red Roof, VA Beach - Would Pass Next Time Around"
Initially we were caught off guard by the number of tractor trailers in the parking lot. So, it's more like a Truck Stop location. Fortunately, the truckers appeared to have their own side of the motel. We were again caught off guard, having to transact through bullet proof glass at check in. THIS, says a lot about the neighborhood the motel is located […] in. We tried eating at a nearby restaurant the first day. The other times, we opted to eat elsewhere. The bed railing was wobbly. The mattress itself was reasonably comfortable. There were no dual outlets, so any items like cell phone chargers etc.. had to be located to a power strip off an outlet. There were no additional tables or desk, so other items had to be shared on the dresser with the television. The motel was listed as "Upgraded". This meant - New paint outside, new light fixtures and bathtub cap. The rate was not "Outstanding" as compared to other places listed at the time. Had I known, I would have opted with one of the other locations. If I'm traveling as an adult male, looking for a CHAIN motel/hotel to stay for not a lot of money. Maybe Once. "Do not stay"
The first thing I noticed on staying was the bodily fluid stain right next to the bed. That ruined my night of sleep. I kept thinking, if that is on the floor what in the world is in my bed??? Not a bad hotel for the price. Bed was comfortable and the area felt safe. They did their best to clean the rooms. Carpet needed to be changed badly. Would have liked a close place to the beach. Although the customer service was great & the rooms where cleaned as best a house keeper could offer. The refrigerator was broken and the carpets were really dirty. The quilts were old & covered with cigarette burns. The continental breakfast was only donuts. Should include at least bagels.

TOWELS AND WASH CLOTHS WERE VERY ROUGH AND FELT LIKE YOU WERE WASHING AND DRYING WITH SAND PAPER. THE BED WAS UNCOMFORTABLE AND THE PILLOWS WERE VERY THIN. Great coffee machine in their lobby! Did have a bit of an issue with the hotel staff allowing a keg party at the pool though which clearly violated their own terms of use.

When we first walked in we were pleased. It looked like the room was freshly painted and there was everything that we needed. However, after we came back from the wedding we were attending we were mortified with the huge roach that was on the wall and the dead bug on the bathroom floor. "Great room for the money"
This was a great room for the money paid. Very clean and comfortable. Close enough to the beach that the 10-15 minute drive was better than paying the additional money to stay right on the beach.

"We'll Probably Visit again"
We spent 2 days in the hotel, it was a very short drive to the beach, stores are close, and food is very close, if you are eating down by neptunes beach i suggest the Abbey Road Resturant. The only thing i suggest is to bring extra pillows, oh they dont advertise it however the rooms have mini fridge and mircowave

Rooms were clean and close to va beach without the traffic. The mattress needed some upgrading. They were a bit uncomfortable.
