In need of some updating, there were dirty towels in our bathroom, we had a non-smoking room, but could smell the smoke of surrounding rooms, it was VERY noisey, one of our lamps knob was broken, so they took the bulb out of it instead of fixing it, the shower was either VERY HOT or ICE COLD, the bathroom floor was stained like the toilet had flowed […] over multiple times, I wasnt impressed at all, and would not recommend it. Air Canada, part of United Airlines star alliance, cancelled my flight and I did not get to stay at this hotel.

Hotel and rooms smelled like cigarettes, had to beg for towels, and hot water was nonexistent.

Smelled. Bathtub was so discolored, a mat had been cut down to just fit inside the bottom to cover the nasty stains-. Carpet was sticky. Breakfast was donuts, 2 cereals, apples, square waffles, bagels, and 2 broken toasters, 2tables w/ 4 chairs in a separate room.

We considered sleeping in the car. We slept fully clothed because the sheets smelled. We never walked on the carpet or in the bathroom without putting shoes on. The carpet was sticky. Terrible, terrible place to stay. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It was the most unsafe I have ever felt.

Old, lumpy beds, dirty blankets, sheets so old you can see through them. Dirty carpet, remote to tv didn't work, hot water didn't work & changed rooms. The other room was the same way. A sign is up in the hall saying pardon our dust while we remodel, but whatever they are remodeling must be invisible. The only good thing I have to say about this hotel […] is the air worked. All I needed was a bed and shower. The hotel is exactly what I expected for the money. I will return on my next overnight stay.

This was the nastiest hotel ever. Towels were gross, overly used and stained. Same with the bedsheets. Toiletpaper holder was falling out of the wall. Oh and taking a cold shower was the jackpot. Called to front desk to seeabout replacement towels, "Oh I only work the front desk, laundry will be in at 9:30

We checked in and went up to our room (321). We arrive at our door, which was open. After we walked in, we noticed the microwave was on, and could tell that it had been on for quite sometime (and it still have 15 minutes to go!). Next...the floor was completely soaked for some reason, not a clue here. Also, I'm a guy who enjoys a brisk room, but our […] room was absolutely freezing. The bathroom floor felt like it was going to fall in at any moment, it had sort of a "spongy" feeling to it. The icing on the cake was when we pulled back the comforter before going to bed, and finding a big (5-6 inch) blood stain on the inside of the bed spread. Needless to stay...We will not be back at this Super 8. Les mer

Close to the amphitheatre which was the only good thing. Run down and the area looked pretty iffy. AC in room did not work. If you can afford to stay somewhere nicer.

The hotel, while only being a Super 8 and I wasn't expecting a lot, was much less than I expected. The room felt like a sauna and it felt like no one had been in it in a week. It's on a seedy side of town and the hotel smells very strongly of cigarette smoke- even in the non-smoking rooms. The walls are grimey and the beds are not at all comfortable. […] We hadn't been in the room 5 minutes when the fire alarm went off seemingly at random. Does not feel safe/secure. Proprieter's English was not satisfactory - very hard to communicate with them. Motel odor unpleasant Took forever to get hot water - doors did not fit frames very hard to close. caulking in bathroom unacceptable - little details that could make a stay better were not attended to

It was a little outdated which made this hotel seem kind of dirty. Everything looked like it had been cleaned but there was a smell. Mold or mildew maybe.

Was falling apart slightly and the walls are paper thin plus the breakfast is pretty shabby, like they ought to just not try at all itd be better lol

I had the manager come to my room to inspect the almost 1/4 inch of mold on the carpeting. There was grape (I HOPE) jelly all down the front door when you close it. Tub had foot prints and dirt in it. The sink had no hot water. I was amazed, and it takes a lot to amaze me.

Nice breakfast selection, room was spacious, only negative points were the AC was switched off when we wanted it left on and hadn't vacated the room. Aso the room keys had expired way before check out time.

The property is OK for an inexpensive place to sleep with average to below average accommodations. Your wife would definitely not like this place. The free WiFi code did not work, the hallway was noisy, the electronic door key was unpredictable, there were old TVs and rolls of carpeting in the hallways, and the shower's water temperature kept changing […] with every other room's water usage. The staff seemed very friendly, though, and like I said, you can't beat the price, but not a place for a person used to a Hampton Inn or better facility. Les mer

If you want a clean, cheap place to sleep, this hotel provides that, however, their water in the showers is a lot to be desired. I was either getting scalded or frozen every few minutes from one extreme to the other. My husband had the same problem when he showered. I assume that other people staying at the hotel were using their water the same time […] we were and when they did, on My GOSH!! The water literally was scalding hot one minute, and frigid cold the next! This went on for most of the duration of my shower. I probably would not stay there again just because of this as it was a pretty serious problem. We were there for only one night and we booked it at the last minute due to an unexpected funeral. I didn't complain as I figured it would do no good as we were checking out. The pillows on the bed were also small. It was a queen bed but the pillows did not look like standard sized pillows and there were only two. Les mer

There were a large row of televisions blocking most of the corridor to our room. the hallways smelled like a women's locker room in the middle of summer with no air conditioning. the attendant had mass-printed the incorrect wireless code or the entire hotel.

I was staying here for a night with my boyfriend. This hotel was disgustingly dirty and very old and run down. To start, the area outside of the hotel smelled like sewage and a trash dump combined. However, the worst part was the bathroom. It was the worst I've ever seen, even in a home. The bathtub had hair and was absolutely filthy. It looked like […] someone had given a dog or some type of animal a bath after playing in the mud. Housekeeping did not touch the filth, but they did leave soap and shampoo. I didn't notice this until the morning, so my boyfriend and I just checked out and went and showered at my boyfriend's gym. The walls and floors were dirty, they appeared to never had been vacummed. The sheets were clean, but the overall appearance was old and dirty. I have stayed a lot of places, but I would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE. Also, breakfast consisted of two types of cereal and some bagels, bread, and toaster waffels next to a toaster. Les mer

Our room was in the basement.. Rather strange. Staff was very nice and all smiles. Room was SO dry. I drank about 10 ( no joke) glasses of water during the night. Sheets and blankets were questionable. Next time I'll spend a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else. Ooo a perk-- waffle house is right next door!!

Tv didnt work well fridge didnt work at all then family emergency came up and we got charged 25$ cancellation fee even though website said no cancellation fees! Hotels.com did their best but Super 8 wouldnt budge.

I was staying by myself so I looked for cheap. This was the cheapest, and it probably should be. It was pretty clean, but between the incessant walking in the room above me which was loud and the absolutely horrible breakfast, it almost wasn't worth what I paid for it. If you stay there, bring ear plugs and eat at the Bob Evans across the street.

This was the worst experience I have ever had staying in a hotel. The front desk people were completely useless, if you ask them which way is up I'm not sure they would be able to tell you. And on top of being complete idiots, they were VERY rude. As for the cleanliness of the room, well finding a glue on fingernail on the floor of one wasn't exactly […] settling, considering no one in our group has ever worn the things it makes me wonder when the place was vacuumed last. Just an overall bad experience. No one in my group of 8 was pleased. Les mer

Horrible room . Told us it is going to be Non smoking room, there was worst cigarette smell as soon as you enter all the way from Lobby to room . Check in was ok. Room was filthy, carpet was damp, somewhat wet, Linens, Towels, everything was smelly, stinky. Bed was very uncomfortable,Air conditioning unit was very noisy. Neighborhood also did not look […] good. Only plus point is hotel is close to airport but even then I will NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYBODY. In fact I was about to call to get my money back. For the price, it was fine. The entire smoking section of rooms is overrun with the awful smell of tobacco smoke. I will NEVER stay in a room in this part of the hotel. It is disgusting. I will admit that the personell were very nice, and the price is attractive. I will never stay in a smoking room again, i would rather pay the extra money to avoid […] the disgusting stench. Les mer

I work weekends in STL and this was a great place to stay. I just needed a bed and a shower! Conveniently located close to Interstate 270 and restaurants. Nice, clean room. Not fancy, but served the purpose!
