The Hampton Inn Edmond is a really nice hotel. You will need a car in this area anyway, so the location doesn´t really matter. The good thing about the location, was that it is close to I-35. Had no trouble with noise from the road. The standard and quality of the entire hotel is good except for one thing: The AC is extremely noisy. I have never heard anything like it. You can choose temperature and whether the AC shall be On or in Auto mode (which is a really nice feature!). However, we found out that if we should use the AC during the night, we had to leave it on and use earplugs. If you choose Auto mode, you are awaken every time the AC turns on. We were there in the spring when it was still possible to leave the AC off during the night, but I would not recommend this hotel at times when it is absolutely necessary with AC. Too bad, because the hotel is really nice except for this.

"Clean place with decent breakfast"
Room was clean and straight forward. I didn't notice any highway noise, as they are located right next to I-35.. was very easy to find. Breakfast was simple but nice, I had the waffles. I'd stay there again next time I'm passing thru OKC.
The facility has seen better days. Would not stay there again.

"First time at an Americas Best Value Inn"
Check in was very nice and helpful. Room was clean, bed comfortable, shower was hot. Had a very nice stay, two complaints. One.... we hung do not disturb sign on door, house keeping knocking on door, woke us asking if we wanted to stay another night. I informed her we had already paid for two nights. Two.... house keeping came back n left fresh towels […] and took out trash but didn't make the bed. There is a Dennys next door, a Sonic next door to that and a great lil Chinese restaraunt CHINA QUEEN some of the best and freshest food we have ever had. Les mer
"Bricktown? Really?"
This hotel advertises its location as being near Bricktown....Bricktown is even in the title....4 miles away. We were misled, and the neighborhood was super sketch. When we couldn't find the hotel (because it wasn't in Bricktown!), we tried calling the hotel and no one answered! We tried at least 10 times, no pickup. We were roaming around for at least […] 30 minutes before finding the hotel, without any help from the attendant on duty. Les mer
"Nice Place to Rest!"
This place was older, but a nice, clean place to stay for the money After finding the hotel, it was easy to get around. It was not in walking distance of downtown, but we could drive to Bricktown within minutes. Denny's was next door, but best find was "Mamma Lou's" just west of hotel. Good, down-home cooking. Will stay here on next trip to OKC.

I did not feel safe in this neighborhood. The room was clean but just barely. I didn't want to walk barefoot on the carpet. Definitely barely one star.

Our gps couldn't find this location, so I would recommend calling the hotel from a location and letting them give you directions or use mapquest instead of gps. The lady at the counter said it happens all the time. The room was so stuffy, it smelled like it had not been used in YEARS. The bed was uncomfortable and the heating/cooling unit was loud and made the room more uncomfortable than it was originally. The breakfast was ok, but other than that it was the WORST night spent in a hotel ever for me and my family.

Simple hotel. No frills. Exactly what I expect from a 2 star hotel. Room was clean (however the smell of cleaning supplies when we walked into the room was a bit overwhelming). "Simple and good priced"
This is the second time I've stayed here for business. It's a good economy hotel, the breakfast is good, and the rooms at clean. I loved the fridge and microwave that saved a lot of cost from having to eat out. The problem I had was when asking for an extra pillow for the second time they said they had no extra. Other issue that wasn't a problem befor […] was the neighborhood... It is a rougher area I guess given the location however it's kind of isolated from the rough spot. The room was clean. It has a hairdryer, a small fridge and a microwave. Denny's is right across the parking lot. Asked the night clerk where the Oklahoma City Memorial Museum was and she was very helpful in giving directions.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was as I expected it to be in cleanliness and style. The only two complaints I really have are the internet connection (which was non-existent, really, I couldn't even check my email although it was 'connected'.) and the pillows were super tiny. The hotel isn't really in Bricktown, but there is food nearby, and it is a quick cab ride to the local sights as well as the airport. Overall, a very reasonable experience and worth the price. My friends and I chose this hotel because it is advertised to be in Bricktown-we assumed this meant we would be within walking distance of all the attractions. However, we weren't, this hotel is 2 miles from anything in Bricktown so I thought the advertisement was a bit misleading.

"Good for Business Travel"
This hotel is good for business overnight stay. everything is very clean except the carpet. Field hands do not take their shoes off at the door. I did not either. I am an middle aged woman and I was very comfortable. I would not stay here with my family for vacation unless my budget demanded it. Fairly nice motel for the money. Asked for a 2 bed handicapped room which they didn't have. The room entrance light was out. A chest of drawers had a faulty lower drawer. Walls, like most motels were not very sound resistant as per noisy neighbors. Other than that, it was a very good 4 night stay. Offered a fairly large continental breakfast, included. […] Being a diabetic, I requested a small refrigerator for insulin and certain specialty foods and room included a microwave too. It came with an iron & board + a hair drier and coffee maker. Most motels have either t.v.'s or remotes that don't work; but theirs did + included several movie channels. Plenty of parking was available. The front desk employees, maintenance guy, and maids were very helpful and courteous. Convenient to several fast food places too, with a Denny's next door. Glad that I found them. Les mer

"Good value"
For the most part it was a good stay. We were attending a football game in a near by city and the location was good for the game however the neighborhood was a little rough. "It is what it is....."
It was an inexpensive hotel just off of the interstate, making access fairly easy. The staff seemed pretty nice for the little I dealt with them. I managed to set off the smoke alarm when I turned on the heater. Apparently they had not been turned on for awhile, so naturally the lint had built up a little. There wasn't any smoke that I saw, although […] you could certainly smell it. It was what I paid for an inexpensive hotel right at the edge of Brick Town. Saying they are in Brick Town is a little misleading. But I would return for another stay there. Les mer

"It was just off the freeway."
And that is the highlight. Driving from the north my GPS was experiencing dyslexia routing me an exit or two south and u-turning me back to the hotel, however this could just be a problem with my navigation system. It is a seedy place and a truck driver left his semi idling just outside our window all night. But the shower worked and the lights were […] adequate. Breakfast was designated as "hot" and did have hot foods, coffee and waffle. There were other restaurants around though. I'd take my chances on another place next time. Les mer

"Bricktown name is misleading"
I was disappointed with this hotel. Since it had Bricktown in the name, we assumed it was in the popular Bricktown location of OKC. It was several miles away from that. It was a non-smoking room, but the bedding and room reaked of smoke. It took a good 3 hours to cool down the room after we first checked in, since it was about 95 degrees in there. My […] husband went to get candy out of the vending machine and it was melted. When he went to the front desk to get his money back, the clerk acted very annoyed about his request. He also saw a large roach in the same vending machine. The price was low, but I would have rather paid $20 more for a better place. We will not be coming back. Les mer

Neighborhood seemed ok but I don't know OKC very well--across the parking lot looked like a bit of a run down hotel or something like that so that was sketchy but no problems. Room was clean. Decent, but below average, breakfast. Nice thing is the cheap expense to have a pet (fifteen bucks). The receptionist told me that they shampoo each time a pet […] of any sort is brought in. Its actually not in Bricktown but its only about 10 minutes away. Directions are sketchy if your not familiar with Oklahoma City. Staff was friendly, room was clean and even had a fridge and microwave in it. I was worried there would be alot of highway noise but it wasn't too bad. Surprised by the continental breakfast which was actually very good they […] had many varieties of offerings including waffles and fresh apples and oranges. For the price this hotel wasn't bad at all I would stay there again. It was just me (a women) and my pretween son but at no point was I uncomfortable at this hotel. I even returned after 11 pm from Bricktown and had no qualms about walking across the parking lot to get icecream at sonic. Les mer

I made me and my wife a plate of food during breakfast and as I proceeded back to my room they told me I was unable to eat in my room. This is a 2 star hotel and there is no reason for people not to be able to eat in there rooms. The hotel was trashy and if they expected me to make a mess, well I wasn't, plus the hotel was dirty anyways.
